She couldn't help but chuckle as she followed after Betta. There was a little flutter of her heart, feeling as if the cubs had accepted her as their care taker. "Well then to speak with King Haku we go" she smiled. She let her eyes scan the area looking for the male that she had just spoken with. She soon found him and made her way over to him. "Pardon me King Haku, but we wish to join your lovely pride" she dipped her head showing her respect.

Zira/loner/lioness/2yrs3mnths

Zira walks around the hot Savannah searching and searching for a pride,or at least a small group of lions. She gets startled by a snort. A warthog runs to its burrow. "Food! Finally! This dry old place seems like everything's dead!" She says digging into the burrow. She takes out the warthog and feasts on her meal. She then smells a lion. She's uncertain if it's a lioness or lion. "Maybe there's a group!" She follows her nose and sees someone. She walks over to her(Luana) and stopped. "Hello-" she stops and looks at the sleeping lionesses. "Oh....um.. They are.. Sleeping right???" She asks flicking her tail and looking back.

Aantreklik sighed with relief. She had seemed very disturbed in her sleep. "Good to know." He examined Leola like he had earlier. "You can go back to sleep now. You must've traveled far without sleep." He dipped his head as a way to say 'goodbye' and walked back to Ignis. "She seems okay. I'm guessing it was just a bad dream." He looked over at Haku as he roared to assign rolls. "I saw you talking to this lad earlier. I assume you two are companions? None the less, I must be on my way." He dipped and goodbye and went over to Leola. "Again, pardon me interrupting your slumber, but we better be over to listen to rolls."

Zync stayed where he was and looked up at the king as he called. He sat up in great interest, although only expecting to be placed as an adolescent.

She hadn't expected a lioness to suddenly approach her. She looked at the lioness then Karisa and Ali. "They're my companions. And yes, they're just sleeping. What'd you think?" She still said it in a friendly way. Luana guessed she thought Luana was guarding dead lionesses or something related. "What might you're name be?-" She stopped in the middle of her talking to look at the king. "These lions and lionesses you see before yourself, have formed to become a pride. The king, known as Haku, will be assigning our ranks." Luana felt bad for cutting the conversation short. She nudged Karisa and Ali. "Sleepy heads, the king is assigning rolls." Ali awoke then woke up Karisa. They watched intensely. Once rolls were assigned, they would officially be a pride.

She looked at the ground, thinking over sleeping. "Hopefully he doesn't show up again," she said as she laid down, and fell asleep. She fell into a deep, dark sleep, feeling as if she would be lost in it forever.

He watched Erebus devour the food and smiled. He had just started to settle down beside the water in a comfortable position to relax when he heard Haku's roar from the rock.

Lifting his head, he looked at the male in his prime and at the other lions who had been gathered near him, speaking to him before. Opeyemi doubted he would have roared as loudly if he meant to speak only to them and wondered if he meant to assemble a pride out of the loners, outcasts, and others who had found their way to the source of water.

If the majority of the gathered lions had compatible personalities, it could work, he thought, or it could lead to fighting, sooner or later, if one decided they should be king of the new pride instead. A fresh pride was always vulnerable to power struggle, until those who wished to stay had found their places and those who did not had been driven out or left of their own will.

There were enough cubs and adolescent lions in the vicinity that he felt bound to stay to help protect them if anyone proved hostile to one male attempting to take power, and he was willing to see what Haku had to say. He hoped the spirits had led him to this watering hole because the new pride could use his abilities, and not because there would be an imminent need for healing.

Getting to his feet, he gestured toward Haku and said to Erebus, "This one seems to have an idea to form a pride. Would you like to go listen?"

If Erebus agrees, Opeyemi will walk over to the gathering and sit on his haunches to listen.

Smiling at Aantreklik ,Ignis shrugged "You could say that, until later" Walking towards Haku he jumped on the rock besides him, smirking "Look at that, acting like a King and everything! I do believe you said you weren't fit to be one?" Teasingly he snuggled to him, Ignis was sure that fake-flirting with Haku would be his number one source of entertainment. 'For his reactions if nothing else' Purring and trying not to laugh he looked at the other lions, they needed to hurry this many lions in one location was bound to attract unwanted attention.

"Thank you Dunkel, I do hope that they will accept me..." she said, letting out a sigh after. She was just giving his nephew a little grooming when she heard the deafening roar. She was touched at what they named the pride, as a happy tear escaped her eye. Coahoma took a breath, and turning her head to Dunkel, she said, "Come on my little nephew, it's time to assemble!" Motioning with her tail, she headed forward below the rock, and sat below it, awaiting for instructions.

Betta and Koi looked up as there are new mother spoke. They sat quietest they've ever been. Expecially Betta. She sat playing with the dirt. Koi on the other hand wasn't a huge fan. They began a quite game of eww Betta don't touch me. Or haha Koi I'm gonna touch you. They did this while sittingin one spot. Seeing who'd move first and or use their voice.
Haku smiled at the lioness below him. He looked to her and everyone around. "Alright than. Let's start with you Mwako. What role would you like?" He looked down than at his two siblings. "To make this part quicker. Speak to Dunkel and Mei. Give you name and wanted Position." He smiled then made sure yo add something. "Of course If you are applying for Queen or Sub-Queen come and line over by me. I'll have to talk to you personally. A queen is my right paw girl,
the main decision maker along with the king. The sub-queen is the kings true mate, she has less work to do to mainly watching over the cubs and is lead breeder. I have a choice on accepting any of you for any postions. Even if you do not ask, as those are traditional rules. I also ask you to speak to me if you are challenging me for my position as King. I will happily accept, we may fight with brute. Or just plain words. Either way, it'll just be an easy game." He looked around smirking. He didn't actually view it as a game, serious is what it is. He just said that to bring up his own confidence and impression level.
He looked back down as Mwako. "So Dear. What Position would you like?"
Dunkel looked around waiting for a crowd of gathering lions. He quickly looked af his aunt. "You first then. Shall I mark you down as a Healer?" He liked having someone he could be close too. It made him think. Soon he'd have to choose a mate. His younger brother was already a king, and would start his family. He would just have to do the same.
Mei sat as Haku's personal Body guard. She was glad she could be of assistance. "I'm Mei. Come and give me your name and position." She stated it a bit dully. She was tired. Her mind were on other things. She saw her twin glow as he announced his pride name, there mothers name. Honor flowed off him. She didn't even have a mate and he would have one soon. She was not one for letting her beother beat her, in any category. Then what choice did she have. No eligible males around looking for a mate. She was rough and tough. She needed someone exactly like her, or at least she asumed.


(Also guys~ The Queen may only be bred with the king. (UNLESS. You really want that drama. *Wink. WINK*.
Lastly~ Every catagory can breed. Breeders are just the master form. Taking care of the cubs when mothers are busy, and breeding when ever in heat. So if your a breeder be able to play ALOT of characters. I suppose you don't have to breed every Seven days but breed at least Once every 14-20)

Taking a slight bow to Haku, she trotted over to Dunkel. "Yes I would like that indeed Dunkel," she smiled at the lion, and watched as he drifted off into thought. Then, she heard Mei speak, and she was surprised. "Mei!" she roared excitedly, "do you not remember me? Hmm...perhaps not, you were indeed very young then... But anyways, I'm your aunt, Coahoma, and wow, have you grown into such a pretty lioness! I bet you must have a lot of pursuers after you huh Mei?" She said, grinning brightly at her niece. "When am I going to be a grandaunt you two?" she asked, hoping that she would be able to see the magic of births. Praying to the Great Broodmother silently, she thought, "Oh Great Broodmother! Please do bless this pride with cubs soon..."

(Hmm... Must all lionesses breed? Or can some choose not to? Cause may be a little strange for Coahoma and one of her nephews... XD)

She thought for a moment unsure of what position she should go for. A breeder would probably suit her best. But then again the prospect of becoming the sun-queen was intriguing as well. After all she did have a knack for watching over and caring for cubs. Betta and Koi were not the only cubs she has protected before. "I do love cubs and watching over them..but I feel unfit to be a sub queen, but I guess I shall try." she spoke gentle before moving to sit behind Haku.

Opeyemi looked at Mei as she spoke after Haku finished, noting her dull voice and weary posture. He wondered if she was unhappy, and why, but there were too many lions gathering around the rock to try to delicately inquire what was troubling a lioness he had only just met. He was, in general, a tactful lion and good with others, and fully aware that most did not open up in public. Filing it away for later, because part of the job of a healer is to listen to the troubles of the heart and mind and not only mend the troubles of the body, he waited his turn.

When there was a break in the flow of lions heading toward the rock, he stepped over to her. "I have served in other prides as a healer and a shaman," he told her. "I have, thank the spirits, helped safely deliver difficult litters while saving both cubs and mother and healed serious wounds. In times of famine, the spirits have led me to enough food to keep the prides I served alive and warned me of impending attacks." He spoke humbly, but truthfully, with the occasional shadow moving over his face as he remembered dark times before. Particularly as he recalled the famines.

"I cannot promise that I will always be able to do these things, as the spirits are sometimes silent and some things cannot be helped and it is someone's time to join the ancestors, but I can say that I will always do my best. It seems the spirits must have led me to this place to offer my aid to this new pride. It has been some time since I was not wandering and I would welcome the opportunity to call a place home, as well as to be useful again. The territory here is surrounded by many good areas for gathering the things I need for my trade, if the pride intends to settle here."

He looked around at the others, including Coahoma, who seemed to know both Mei and Haku already and had been named healer immediately, and wondered if the pride would be large enough to need more than one - though he was of the opinion that more than one healer was always a good idea, in case many were injured at once or one of them became sick, and so on. "Of course, if you can think of something else that would be more helpful, I am willing to do other things. I am good at looking after cubs with the lionesses are on the hunt, and while I prefer not to war with others, I would defend my pride with my life."

Mei was at a loss for words. "An aunt?" Truely something close that had ties with her mother. Tears began to gather though they wouldn't fall. All she managed to do was nuzzle her. "I'm glad to meet you. I don't believe unless I find a veryimpressive male I'll have cubs too soon." She chuckled at her words. Who was she to have cubs? She was rough as it was, could she even look at a delicate cub without breaking or causing an injury or fear. When a male approached she drew her attention to him. "My apologies. You seem fit for a healer and so that it shall be. Spirits are wise and I shall not take a skill they have gifted you so seemingly well and put it to waste. Though if anyone is to be injured it shall probably be me." She laughed at those words. "After all that is what's expected from a very fiesty huntress. Though if anything you can always do some side things, even hunt or gather some other food."

Haku looked in awe at the female who offered to be his love and life mate. He blushed. "I suppose yes. We can test our compatibility, if we're lucky we'll find love with each other. If not then we can always remain close." He nodded with his awnser he was very close to shouting, but held a calm and very shaky voice.
He looked at the cubs, they'd be his step daughter's then, at least for the time being. "I'll make my final decision in one week time." He looked around. "Anyone else wish to apply to any positions. I still need a queen and or another sub-queen to test." He looked at the cubs and Betta jumped batting his nose. He laughed and batted at her in return it becoming a small game.
Koi was loooking at him and back at her new mother. "Amazing. Even if it doesn't work out. Me and Betta are princesses for a whole week! Your a queen. Not an evil on but an amazing good one!" She cuddled her mothers legs very pleased.
