Emma panted heavily, watching the last of the scamps fall. The scents around her... She recognized them as Dark Brotherhood members, but that was the extent of her relations with the female Khajiit and Nord.

"Yeah. Honestly, what do you know? You've never been in one of these damn things either." She sneered at the white Khajiit.

Then again, if he really did know what he was saying, she might consider it. As much as she hated to admit it, she was in fact quite terrified of the things around her. No doubt they would encounter more enemies the further they explored this hellish wasteland.

Why would anyone want to live here? Daedra had shitty living standards.

"I've only read about these gates, but I'm sure said knowledge will come in handy. Listen, the tallest tower, that one I pointed out has a stone at the top called a Sigil Stone. If we remove it, the gate should close. He said to the Orc as well to everyone else.

He looked around, cautiously waiting for any other enemies that would come their way. There would be more. There was no way they wouldn't be attacked, they only were intruding on a Daedric realm.

"We need to move quickly. Those scamps are the least of our problems." He said with his deep voice.

Their enthusiasm was impressing at least. Not many people would rush into a gate. Then again, this whole situation was curious and fascinating. He wouldn't blame them for being curious. Of course it was good either.

He scratched his face, listening to the Khajiits words, but the more he talked the more he frustrate. "Look pal, I was born in Cyrodil, you can't go anywhere there without hearing something about the oblivion crisis" he said as calmly as he could "We all have the same knowledge of it, here we are, in a real oblivion gate" he sighed "So how about we stop standing here and go get that damn stone!?" He huffed he getting angry, there were things ripe for the killing in this place.


He stood tall staring at everyone he gave another deep sigh "Besides, The Hero of Kvatch went into one of these things by himself" he scoffed "So how in Malacaths name are" he paused to count out everyone "Four of us gonna do what one man did? Hmm? More isn't less pal" he scoffed and headed up the path in a huff, walking down the path, he looked up and saw a body hung between two huge pillars, 'get to the top and take the stone' he thought to himself "I'm fit enough to get that damn thing myself," he said out loud as he dreaded along "They're just gonna follow behind anyway" he scoffed again, trying to breathe, he didn't want to let his anger blind him.

Before long more of what the Khajiit called 'Scamps' came along, he drew his sword and swung with great force taking his anger out on them, there were only three no big deal,until a dremora came out of nowhere and drew his blade, Mukurz smiled "BRING IT ON" he shouted as he held his position, ready to block the dremoras attack.

She listened as several of her companions began to argue, and she moved towards the khajiit up front, ignoring everyone else. "There are more dremora up the slope. Bigger ones. I've seen them crawling about, trying to protect their tower. I believe they're Clannfears, but I can't see from here."

She shouldered him slightly, so she didn't accidentally sneak up on him, which would most likely get her attacked, and leaned over towards a pack she carried at her hip. "Here, these should help. I am not implying that any of you are incapable of protecting yourselves, but a little bit of help never hurts." She sighed softly and pulled out a huge wad of tangled Arkay Amulets, separating them quickly with her small fingers and tossing one to everyone there. She slipped one around her neck, and as the scamps began to return, she pulled her bow out and shot one, lighting it on fire with a single arrow.

As soon as Seofi came to from fast traveling, she knew there was something wrong. She hardly had any time to gather herself as the guards were rushed out the doors, shouting things like "Gate of Oblivion" and "It's the end of the world!". Confused rather than alarmed, the Khajiit walked out to see what was going on; this would be the second time a Gate of Oblivion was mentioned today - and for good reason too.

Lo and behold, there was a damn gate alright. A gate of fiery hell that turned the skies the color of blood and froze Seofi to the ground with fear. "So this is a Gate of Oblivion..." she whispered to herself. Perhaps she should take a look, as strange and dangerous it seemed. Besides, there already seemed to be people running through the gates - four altogether. Unsheathing her Daedric daggers, she ran towards the gate, her fear turning into insatiable curiosity.

She entered the gate, her mouth dropping open as she saw the chaos within Oblivion. As much as she wanted to continue staring, she knew she had to move. There were little ugly critters coming for her from the corner of her eye. Raising her daggers up, she slashed at the scamps as they lunged for her. She'd never fought anything so ugly before...well, besides the yetis and a couple of bandits, that is.

Seofi stabbed, slashed, and tossed the ugly demons away, looking up to find the others. Tossing aside the last of them, she ran off before more could attack her.

"Hello!" Seofi greeted them cheerfully, waving her hand to them. She smiled when she saw there were Khajiit in the band as well. She greeted them once more in her mother tongue, offering them all a friendly smile. "Quite something here, yes? This one's name is Seofi."

Emma took the amulet and placed it around her neck, nodding in thanks.
"Shadowblade." She said, introducing herself to everyone else.

She could feel the Khajiit warriors stare become cold on her. He was a guard, of course he'd have something against her with all her killings.

Of course, there was a bigger problem at the moment.
"Yeah, let's just follow The orc. We have a full party. We should be okay."

Emma kept her daggers in hand, glancing at the the other Khajiit, Seofi and greeting her with a hello. She seemed a little too happy about all this. Maybe she liked it?

"Alright. Wellp. I'm gonna start following that guy." She said, referring to Murkurz.
She looked back at the other Nord woman, wincing a bit behind her cloak.

"Alright, Orc. You lead the way!" He said, calling out to him as he was already well on his way to the tower.

Maiko softly smiled at Raspoaai, graciously taking the amulet.
"Thank you, I appreciate the gesture. And yes, that is indeed a Clannfear. Watch out for their heads... They like to charge." He said, taking the amulet and putting it around his neck.

He watched as someone else came through the gate. Another Khajiit. It filled his heart with pride seeing his kind step up like this.

"Hello to you, I am Maiko. Come now, there isn't much time to talk. The tower awaits." He said to everyone, readying his sword and shield, following the Orc.

After a vigorous battle with the dremora, Mukurz continued along the path, he saw an array of strange plants and things, sacks of flesh lay along the ground and on large branch like spikes, he looked through them, being the curious orx that he is, he found a few pieces of gold but nothing much, he continued to walk, killing a scamp now and again, he had to evade strange things that spun and spat fire at him if he got too close. Soon he was on a large bridge, he walled to the edge and saw all of the people who entered the gate standing there, he rested his greatsword on his shoulder and put his hand on his hip.



"HEY!!" He shouted hoping they would hear him "Social time is over whelps!! Get moving before something kills ya!!!" He chuckled,why was that cat worried? He knew he'd make it to the tower in no time, he turned and found two dremora standing quite aways ahead, he smiled and cracked his neck "Lets go ladies!" He said with a smile "I was afraid all of you ran away"

Raspoaai smiled back at Maiko, pleased that he had graciously accepted her gesture, and she began to move, reluctantly following the orc. She gave Emma a sideways glance, not wanting to reveal who she was, as she wasn't really wanting to be a part of the brotherhood anymore. She hated killing; she had found that out very quickly. Plus, she didn't want the others to hate her. She gave Seofi a smile as she approached, a bit surprised at her cheerful attitude, and nodded in greeting. "The name's Raspoaai." She stated,

She looked up to hear the angry orc yelling again, and she hissed softly, annoyed with his rude attitude. Oh well; he was an orc, what did she expect? She rolled her eyes and fell in step beside Maiko and Seofi, intending to walk by what she viewed as honorable individuals. Not that the others weren't - these two were of her kind. She whacked several trees with sharp limbs as she passed, moving ahead of the others - except for the orc, she left him in front - trying to clear a better path for everyone. She moved to the side as a scamp staggered back, injured by the orc's greatsword, and she sliced open the side of her arm on a sharp tree branch. It wasn't too bad; just enough to make her bleed. She sighed and wiped the blood off her fur and continued walking, barely acknowledging her wound.

"Nice to meet you all." Seofi smiled, falling into step beside them. Her ears flicked towards the Orc up front as he yelled for them to follow. "Who is that?" She asked. She supposed he was the leader of the little band, considering how he was ushering them to continue. "What is this place? Seofi has never heard or seen anything like this before today." Her icy blue eyes scanned her surroundings; everything looked so interesting to her, she just wanted to explore the place.

Mukurz battled with both Daedra, hitting each one at a time, trying to out flank them, but damn they were persistent, his little band better show up soon. He blocked them, striking back when they left openings for him, he started to think of a way to dispose of them quickly, he looked over at the bridge and noticed how nothing but lava lay at the bottom.

He hit one of them, knocking it back a bit, steadily running toward the edge, the dremora ran to him, he swung his blade at it as it ran to him and then with a quick side step, knocked it into the lava, now there was only one to deal with, 'Hopefully the rest show up' he thought to himself as he readied himself to fight once more.

As they drew closer to the tower, her heart began to beat faster and faster with each step. What in Talos's name awaited in there?

"Watch out!" She called to Murkurz.

A Xivilai Daedra was attempting to blindside him along with a Clannfear and Dremora on the opposite side.

Moved aside from the charging Clannfear, turning her head at the wrong moment getting hit directly by the Dremora with it's fist.

The Dremora pulled the cowl off her face in an attempt to grab her, revealing her enraged face.
"Son of a..." She growled, her ginger hair falling in front of her face.

"A pleasure to meet you as well. This is the-" He began to speak until his thoughts were interrupted.

Maiko grunted and rushed over to the Orc. He was right, there wasn't much time for talk as one of there party members was being attacked.

He bashed the Dremora back with his shield. They were going to be closed in on if they didn't move soon.
The tower... They had to get inside now before they were overwhelmed.

Maiko hissed at the demonic trash that were Daedra, and giving a scowling look to the Nordic woman, Shadowblade as she rushed to grab her cowl and put it back on.

"Come quick!" He called to the two other Khajiit.

Seofi || 22 || Female || Thieves Guild || Oblivion || Mentions: Mukurz, Minx, Maiko, Emma, Raspoaai

Seofi looked up uneasily at the Daedra, glancing up at the tower's peak. She imagined whatever was going to close the gate was up there.

Seofi nodded. She stayed behind to take her bow out, figuring it would be easier to take down the Daedra from afar. She nocked and shot arrow after arrow at each of the Daedra, sidestepping around them as she did so as to not shoot the party members. "Uh oh..." she muttered when the Clannfear turned it's attention to her. Taking more steps back, avoiding the lava, she urged the Clannfear to follow her. She continued to shoot arrows, "Come on! Over here!" The Clannfear charged at Seofi, letting out an angry cry as she continued to shoot arrows until the last moment. She leaped out of the way, letting the Clannfear fall into the lava behind her.

"Now the others..." Seofi looked up and smiled cheerfully. She enjoyed shooting things, particularly Daedra that were trying to kill her companions.

Mukurz held his block as the others came, he slashed at each Daedra, trying not to hit the others, he saw as the khajiit from earlier open the door to the tower, "HURRY UP AND GET INSIDE" He shouted as he hit the Xivilai, it didnt really seem to react, "GO NOW!" he commanded, he knew how to lead, especially in situations like this, he tried to distract the remaining dremora to let the others pass through.

Raspoaai began to follow the others, deep in thought as she rubbed her injured arm, when she could hear the sounds of fighting up ahead. She rushed forward as Maiko yelled for both her and Seofi, and leapt on the nearest Clannfear, driving both her knives through opposite sides of the dremora's head. She hissed at one that was getting ready to pounce on Maiko, and she lunged, tackling it to the ground. She felt it bite her shoulder in rage, but she managed to grab a knife and hack at it repeatedly, leaving it as a barely unrecognizable heap once she was done. She crouched slightly, her tail thrashing as she waited for more of them to appear.

She raced past Maiko, her tail flicking towards the two khajiits as she headed up the hill. She hoped they would be able to identify her signal - she needed them to follow. She rushed up and slayed two more of the nasty creatures, her eyes fixed on the tower and the orc up ahead. She skidded to a stop beside him and began to stab the scamps that had gathered around her, earning a sharp, clawed smack on the shoulder, which drew blood. She spat a tooth out as one smacked her face, dislodging it, and she wiped the blood from her mouth, determined to kill every last one in her frenzied rage. She raced towards the tower, following the orc's instructions, and looked back to see if the others were following, readying herself in case she needed to go back and help.

Seofi stopped shooting when the Orc yelled for them to run through. She quickly followed orders, seeing the signal Raspoaai gave for her and the other Khajiit to follow. Switching from bow to daggers, she slashed at the enraged scamps that rained down on her from the steps. If she hadn't been wearing her armor one of them would've ripped a chunk out of her leg. She slashed the scamp, kicking it aside, before she continued racing after Raspoaai.

Mukurz was actually breaking a sweat, he was blocking more than anything, trying to keep them off everyone, he checked every now and again to see if everyone made it inside,it seemed that way, he tapped into his Beserker rage and swung his blade with great force, blocking and slashing with everything he had, he pushed a dremora close enough to the edge that it fell, and he continued to slash about, "He then focuses on the Xivila, giving a hard swing to it's torso, it got stuck a moment before he ripped it out of the beast, "Die you daedra scum!!!" He shouted as he continued to block "IS EVERYONE INSIDE?" he asked as he looked over.
