Post Template Please use this template when posting to avoid confusion. Thank You! Cat Name Location | Tag; xxx ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Post goes here. Cat name is self explanatory. Location is to be used to indicate where in the territory your cat is so that a cat who is in camp doesn't accidentally reply to a post by a cat who is, say, by the cove. Tag is kind of a similar thing. Tag is to be used to indicate who your cat's post is directed towards. If it was a private conversation in a secluded place with Littlestar (for example) make sure to put: Tag; Littlestar. If you are welcoming anyone in the clan (in your location) to respond to your post simply put: Tag; Open. If you are responding to (again we'll use Littlestar as an example) a specific post but you are still welcoming other people to join the conversation/plot/actions simply put: Tag; Littlestar, Open. If you have any questions PM me or post in our sign-up thread which will also act as our chat thread. Ooc; If you need to say anything out of character, just put it at the bottom of your post like this in italics. Character SheetsNo thread generated. Tawnyfeather || In Camp || Tag: Sealsea, open Would it have been better if one of her other kits had been chosen as the deputy instead of Littlestar? Mudmask was so big and strong, he would be able to force the clan to respect him purely from intimidation. He was so reserved, though, and rarely showed emotion. Was that a good characteristic in a leader? The clan deserved someone whose thoughts were made known, but not so much so that they could keep no secrecy. Maybe Sealsea would have made the best leader of the three. He was a strong tom, and he was... well, he used to be more sociable. He was an in between of his two siblings, she decided. Not too big, not too small. Not too open, not too closed. But still, Tawnyfeather couldn't help but hold out hope that somehow Littlestar would manage to make a name for himself. As much as she wanted to, she could not lead him by the paw throughout his whole life as she had done when he was a kit. Rising to her paws, the pale she cat turned her head once again to Sealsea as she padded over to her white kit, a trill-like purr escaping from her mouth. "Good morning, Sealsea!" Her eyes widened, shining brightly in the early morning sun as she looked up at her kit. "Did you sleep well? Are you hungry? I think there might be a few decent things left in the fresh kill pile. If you head over there, be sure to bring your brother something to eat as well. StarClan knows Littlestar needs to keep eating so he grows to be strong like you and your brother. My, just imagine what a leader he'd make if he were as strong as either of you!" She beamed at the mere thought, paws beginning to rhythmically knead the ground. "And how fortunate we are to have our own kin as leader! Maybe you two could give him a few pointers. You know, help him become stronger and improve his fighting. StarClan, I just hope the clan accepts him soon. He's so small and fragile, it'll be a long while before they realize his potential." Part of Tawnyfeather wondered if she believed her own words. Was Littlestar truly strong enough to be leader? He was named Little- for a reason, and it wasn't like he was ever going to grow into Bigstar. How long would it be before he lost his first life? And his second? And his third? He'd be on his ninth life in no time, and she couldn't risk losing her sweet little boy! She had nursed him so tediously when he was a sickly kit, her hard work and love would not be taken away from her so soon. He was a mere eighteen moons for StarClan's sake! What was Coldstar thinking naming him deputy? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Littlestar Camp | Tag; Sparrowmask, mentions Sheepcloud ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Littlestar's tail lashed against the mossy forest floor as Sparrowmask strutted past him and made his rediculous commentary... it was as if the red-brown tabby thought he were the most important thing in all the world. The chocolate siamese could understand why his sister felt so little affection for her arrogant brother. If there were any individual that could fall in love with his own reflection in a pool of water it would be Sparrowmask. Littlestar knew that the tabby tom longed for his moment in the spotlight, he longed to be a deputy, a leader, he wanted all eyes to fall on him, to worship him as he worshiped himself but these were foolish desires. Littlestar firmly believed that those who were destined to lead, those who were capable of if, would never want to lead. It was the cats that understood and feared the hard decisions of leadership that deserved to lead. Coldstar had been an excellent example of this. Coldstar always made the right choice... or at least he always made the right choice until he didn't. Littlestar knew he wasn't ready to be a leader. He knew that Coldstar's decision to make him a deputy so early was not a wise decision and yet it was one that the late leader of Coveclan would be remembered for... a decision that could not be revoked. "You speak of my inability to care for myself and yet you stand there and look for the most plump of prey to gorge yourself on, Sparrowmask?" He retorted a little bitterly. Littlestar knew it was a kit-ish response but he was still young enough that his youth got the better of him sometimes. Swallowing an irritable growl the tom cat continued, "Why don't you take that prey to the elder den and prove your superiority by hunting for yourself and defending your clan? I'm sure Cloudleap and Yewberry would be honored by your presence." he mewed holding his head high, though the tip of his tail continued to twitch from tension "A warrior, a great warrior, should always feed his clan before he feeds himself." 0 players like this post! FlamePaw Camp | Mentions: Apprentices, Open Flamepaw was pacing back and forth at the camp entrance, sending a look of longing towards the forest every once and awhile. She had woken up early just so she could get something to eat and get right to hunting, but had only then realized that her mentor would not have done the same. Her ears pricked up and she immediately stopped her pacing when she heard a few muffled complaints and glanced over to the apprentices den. She huffed when she spotted her den mates squeezing past Petrelpaw and rolled her eyes, glad that she didn't have to deal with him when she had woken up. Casting her gaze around the camp her eyes settling on a couple of warriors for a mere second or so before sighing and sitting down not finding the warrior she had wanted to. FinchKit Camp | Mentions: Open Finchkit was laying just outside of the nursery, her ears flattened to her head as she shut out all noise from the camps clearing and humming to herself. She knew that she didn't have to walk around to talk to others, they tended to come to her and and with that she had found there was no need to explore further than the nursery. She wasn't quite sure where her mother, father or sister had gone as everyone always told her that they were hunting with Starclan every time she had tried asking them. However she never believed them when they told her that, she didn't think that excused them for leaving her in the nursery alone..and often questioned why they hadn't taken her with them. Echo Train Tracks | Night, Open Echo padded along the train tracks, blood seeped slightly from his paw pads due to the rocks and wood that made the rail road tracks. He stared down at the metal sidings and realized that his entire journey was based off of something he had been told as a kitten and only now started doubting that it all real. Cats protecting each other, hunted for each other and worked together as a unit was a dream for him until now, where the thought was almost as distant as his home was. He laughed slightly to himself as he trudged on forcing himself not to think about it, and soon had as he heard the engine of a monster roaring in the distance. Quickly hopping off the tracks he landed in the grass stopping only for a second as he relished the feeling of the nice cool grass against his rough paw pads. Quickly he propelled himself closer to the sound, only in time to spot a small dot racing from one of the edges of the monster. Skidding to a stop he blinked in confusion as he watched the two-legs mill around and waving their giant paws at each other though in either happiness or frustration he would never know. Circling around the edge of the wood clearing he found his way to the bushes that he had seen the small dot race into. Upon hearing its cries he let out a soft and simply meow hoping whatever it might be had heard him. Ooc: The first two are kinda short XD Sorry! I tried reading as much as I could and then reply with echo 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 27/02/16 @ 10:19:38 by Skitty (#44229) |

Sparrowmask Camp | Tag: Littlestar, Rowanflame, open ______________________________________________________________________________________________ "I do not gorge myself." Sparrowmask spat back, ears going flat as their leader went on. It was just like Littlestar to come back at him with an order, though he had to admit he had nothing better to say in return. He was regretting bothering to even give the smaller tom any attention that morning, though strutting across the camp was still a good idea in his head. "And as a great warrior I would be happy to." The russet tom did his best to keep the irritation currently prickling through his fur out of his tone, though he chose to shoot a harsh glare at Rowanflame, the bee-brained deputy choosing the absolute best timing to appear and come nodding at Littlestar's side. The giant oaf. Sparrowmask then snatched one of the squirrels off the freshkill pile and sulked off toward the elders' den; at least he had something to do now he supposed. OOC: Sparrowmask is such a brat lol. xD ^^' 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 26/02/16 @ 19:23:12 by Firelilly (#13952) |

Night | 2 Moons | Female Kit | Location: Outside Clan Territory | Tag; Echo, Open Night perked her ears as a meow answered her call...it was about time. Who did it belong to though? Not mother...and certainly not one of her siblings...hmmm. Walking through the light dusting of snow...okay, more like plowing through it... the female turned the corner of a bush spotting the source of the call. A young male met her searching electric gaze and the tiny little runt of a kit sped right toward him, giving a half meow half growl of warning just to show him who was boss before walking right between his legs where it was nice and warm. Lying on the ground the small female gave a quiet yawn before letting out a constant low purr. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Maplewish | She-cat | 25 moons | Warrior Mentions: The Clan in general - Open for interaction ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Maplewish blinked open her eyes, jaws stretching in a wide yawn as she sat up and shook out her white-spotted fur. She dropped her body into a quick stretch before heading for the entrance of the den, managing to trip over somebody's tail. After muttering out an apology, the she-cat squeezed out of the den and raked her eyes over the Clan before picking her way down towards the open clearing as well as the fresh-kill pile. As she moved, Maplewish spotted Rowanflame, the deputy entering camp with a good haul of prey. She purred slightly before catching sight of Littlestar and sighed softly, her tailtip twitching in concern for the tiny cat and continuing on her path. Approaching the pile, she stretched up and hooked a small crab down, using her claws and a nearby rock to smash the shell open. (I gotcha covered, Destiel ;) ) Squirrelclaw || Inside camp || Tag: Mistystream Squirrelclaw had bored quickly with his search for a bird, and with the colder weather, they seemed to be keeping to the trees instead of the freezing ground. Not that he blamed them; if he had better balance, he, too, would stay up in the trees, swaddled in the warmth the dried leaves provided. The black and white speckled tom returned to the area he had buried his vole and uncovered it quickly, grateful that the frozen ground was already churned from earlier. Picking up the dead prey by its tail, Squirrelclaw began a brisk trot back in the direction of the great that centered the camp. His thick fur was able to provide the much needed warmth in the colder moons, but there was a major disadvantage to having a dark pelt when it came to hunting. All of the prey seemed to seem him fox-lengths away before he could so much as scent them. He had noticed before that during the frigid months of leaf-bare, more often than not he was selected for border patrols than hunting patrols. Better to put him to use where he would actually be productive to the clan. Entering camp, Squirrelclaw pricked his ears forward, eyes landing almost immediately on his fellow warrior, Mistystream. A light smirk appearing on his face, he padded over to the she cat, rolling his shoulders back and letting his tail wave back and forth at a slow pace. "Good morning, Mistystream." He purred, setting the vole down at the fresh kill pile before turning to the she cat. "Did you sleep well? I found myself disturbingly awake during the night, so much so that at one point I came and sat out here. The sky looks wonderful at night in leaf-bare, with the light layer of snow reflecting the moonlight." 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 27/02/16 @ 22:34:22 by Trumpets (#84778) |

((Thank you, Trumpets! ^^)) Mistystream | She-cat | 26 moons | Warrior Mentions: Clan, Squirrelclaw - Open for interaction ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Mistystream looked up, wrapping her silver tail around her paws as she smiled at Squirrelclaw. "Good morning, Squirrelclaw," she purred, bending down to sniff the vole briefly. "I had a pretty good sleep, but I agree with you about the sky. It's always gorgeous at night, but especially in leaf-bare." She stood and shook out her fur quickly before settling down again. "I might go fishing later, if you want to join me?" Mistystream hummed, tilting her head to one side with pricked ears. ((Ew, why is this so short..)) 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 28/02/16 @ 22:48:56 by Destiel's_Wings (#80261) |

Squirrelclaw || In Camp || Tags: Mistystream, open "I would be honored to join a fine huntress like you." Squirrelclaw replied evenly, tilting his head back slightly and allowing the grin on his face to widen just slightly. "While I'm not a huge fan of fish, I'd do anything to be able to help out the clan anyway I can. We'll have to see make sure the water isn't frozen over yet. I don't think it's cold enough to be very thick yet, so if it is we should be able to break through." Of course, if they broke through a sheet of ice, they'd have to make it big enough to fish out of, and they'd have to wait a while for the fish to calm down, for the force of breaking it would surely startle them into hiding. If there was one major aspect of fishing in leaf-bare, it was that the cold water slowed the fish down. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Littlestar Camp || Tags; Sparrowmask, open ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Slowly the chocolate siamese tom's tail lashed back and forth in the moss behind him though he held his head high and watched Sparrowmask with a firm jade gaze. He would not be spoken down to by a warrior who disrespected him, if he was going to be a leader he needed to ensure no cat in the clan would see him as weak... A nearly impossible task for such a wee youthful cat... Littlestar was more than willing to give respect to those he thought deserved it and those who were respectful in return but cats like Sparrowmask would get no respect from Littlestar until they could come to a mutual understanding. Sparrowmask, and the other cats for that matter, didn't need to like Littlestar and they didn't need to agree with his possition of leader but they needed to work together... not for him but for the good of ever cat, elder and kit in the clan. They would not survive alone, but they thrived together. "Give Yewberry my regards." Littlestar finally added before Sparrowmask turned to leave, the young tom knew that the old grey tabby was more than a paw-full for any self-absorbed clan member. As Sparrowmask sulked off towards the elder's den Littlestar turned his eyes, with a softer gaze, to his new deputy: Rowanflame. "Good morning Rowanflame" the tom purred warmly and dipped his head in a friendly greeting. The little cat was pleased to see his monstrous companion was an ever vigilant supporter of his, it put the siamese a little bit at ease. It was pleasant to know that not all of your clan thought you were just a furry bean with claws. Ooc; I love cats like Sparrowmask, they just make life for everyone more tense and therefore more fun to RP. I can't wait to see him interact with Yewberry or his sister. xD Yewberry Camp, Elder Den || Tags; Open ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Dappled light trickled into the elder den, right into the green-gold eyes of the former warrior and former med-cat of Coveclan: Yewberry. She had remained curled tightly into her mossy nest for as long as she possibly could but an irritated twitch of her pale whiskers gave away the fact that she was already awake and already in a fowl mood. The chatter of cats also flooded the elder den and made the cloud-like elder pin her ears in frustration. Didn't they have anything better to do with their lives? Patrols, hunting, training, shutting-their-ugly-maws-up? Apparently not. With a grumpy huff Yewberry began to untangle herself from the moss. This living fossil was begining to feel her age. Joints creaked and muscles ached. She was cold and her eyes were not as good as they used to be. That being said she still valued herself above the other soft-bellied-kitty-pets that made up the clan now a days. Honestly, what had happened to the times? In her day and age it was fight, hunt or die but noooo, now they just went around making kittens leaders and half-trained-apprentices warriors. Pathetic. If she were only a few years younger she'd whip all their tails into shape! What was she thinking? She could STILL whip all their tails into shape! With a lazy yawn, revealing her once feared but now yellowing fangs, Yewberry began to stretch out her long legs from beneath her fluff. A quick stretch of her back and a shake of her pelt and the old storm-cloud was on her large paws. Quickly examining herself Yewberry decided now was as good a time as any for a morning bath. Taking a seat near the enterence of the elder den Yewberry began to lick bark, moss, dirt and mats out of her long gray pelt. Spottedpaw Camp || Tags; Beartuft, Skypaw, open ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Spottedpaw put his grooming on pause when he heard something coming scurrying up from behind him. His dark ears swiveled on his round head before he actually turned his bright eyes to see his clan-mate, good friend and den-mate skid to a halt beside him. It was Skypaw. A warm rumbling purr rolled out of the charcoal tabby tom's lithe chest, he was rather fond of his mischief-making companion. "Morning Skypaw." he replied flicking his tail at her the pretty gray tabby fluff-ball affectionately. He glanced at her and wondered what today would bring. Did Beartuft want to do some training today or was he going to be free to explore the territory with Skypaw on their own? The young tom flicked his big bright eyes up to his mentor, it was better to ask then to just sit their wondering, wasn't it? After all day light was a wasting! "What are we doing today Beartuft?" The bengal asked energetically, he was eager to get out there, eager to learn something new. "If you have training planned today, could Skypaw come along with us too?" He asked then turned his eyes to Littlestar who wasn't paying attention to them at the moment, "That is... if Littlestar is okay with it too?" Spottedpaw added not wanting to be disrespectful to his new leader. He did want to spend the day with cats his own age, Skypaw included of course, but he didn't want to over step lines or anything either. Wrenshadow The River || Tags; Harriermask, Open ______________________________________________________________________________________________ The russet ticked tabby she-cat turned her nose up at this tom and exaggerated a scoffed "Let the other mouse-brained queens raise the mewling little useless fur-balls I have better things to do with my time." she grumbled in responce. She had never really liked the idea of being trapped in the nursery for moons on end dealing with demanding, mewling, stinky, noisy little balls of fluff that did nothing but complain all day. Kit care didn't end there either... you had to bathe them, train them, scold them, praise them, feed them, tolerate their annoying habits... yuck. No sir, raising needy kits was not in her life plan. Wrenshadow wrinkled her nose, flashing her teeth a little at the tom's sexist comment. "Not all males are as single-minded and mouse-brained as filthy beasts like you." She retorted "Some toms, and she-cats, can work side by side without the need for unnecessary ego-stroking and competition... Besides, a she-cat like this little flame are more than capable of choosing males for themselves without barbaric contests." She eyed him with her intense golden orbs... Nope, he definitely wasn't worth her time. Wrapping her long plumed tail around her paws and staying firmly placed on the bank where she was the she-cat kept a close eye on the would be intruder, "You are not technically in our territory as of yet and I don't see a reason to get my paws wet in the river over the pathetic likes of you... You aren't worth a warrior's effort" She retorted and looked away from him purposefully looking bored. Ooc; She's so mean xD 0 players like this post! Like? |

"I'm not that great of a hunter, Squirrelclaw," she purred. "I just enjoy what I do." She tilted her head slightly as the tom mentioned the frozen river and nodded in thought. Littlestar Camp || Tag; Flamepaw, Open ______ Before Rowanflame could respond to a Littlestar's warm greeting the small siamese's ears swiveled on his head. He could hear someone aproaching. The paw steps were small so it had to be one of the apprentices, the only other cat in camp with paw steps like that was him. At least that was one benefit of being small - a higher degree of stealth. This cat, however, was not being very stealthy. Though the paw steps were small they were quite heavy, indicating that the cat on a path towards them was irritated. For a moment, before he turned to look at the incoming apprentice, Littlestar wondered if it was Spottedpaw or his own apprentice Skypaw come to complain about Petrelpaw. When he turned his head, however, he didn't see a dark pelt but rather a light one. Flamepaw. "Good morning Flamepaw, what's bothering you?" the small tom asked but he didn't need a reply, a quick glance around the camp confirmed that Wrenshadow was not here. "Can't find your mentor? " he asked, she was obviously bustling with energy and though Wrenshadow would likely be back soon he didn't think this apprentice wanted to wait... "Wrenshadow has most likely gone on an early morning patrol today and will hopefully be back soon. Why don't you grab yourself something from the feshkill pile for breakfast and we'll see what happens when you're done... If she isnt back by then I'm sure Rowanflame and I could take you out on our patrol to the beaver pond." the siamese looked up at Rowanflame, "if you're up to stretching your legs, that is, Rowanflame. I don't mind going alone. He added not trying to corner Rowanflame, that wasn't an order it was just an invitation. 0 players like this post! Like? |
