Ertos / Male / Shaman (eventually)
The tall male mulled over Cerin's words, thinking about what he wold say next. "Your father must be very wise, then." Hearing the call of the alpha, Ertos was conflicted. Should he join them or stay? Not risking any more injuries, Ertos stayed where he was and waited for instructions.

Azalea / Female / Lead huntress
The female stretched her unused muscles, feeling restless. She had eaten a bit more than usual to prepare for the long hunt, but her efforts had been in vain. Azalea had been tugging the caribou for some time now, always glancing back to make sure Czar was in tow. The small pup hadn't been much help, but it kept him busy. Azalea's good ear twitched when she picked up a muffled howling sound. The caribou was at the edge of camp, but she figured it would be fine. Azalea looked down at Czar, and spoke to him. "Soul is wanting the pack. Follow me." She said, with a small smile as she nudged him once. Azalea walked a bit slower than usual to make sure that Czar wouldn't get lost or hurt. This was not time to lose the alpha's only brother, again.

Navdur / Male / Guard
Navdur's ears perked up at the sound of his alpha's howl. It was curious that such a scarred wolf had an amazing howl, he thought. The male carried himself with shame out of his den, not daring to look anyone in the eyes. His blue eyes looked down at the ground, a nervous look in them. Navdur sat down a good ways away from Soul, hoping to not spark any anger

Jojo snorted. Ignored again. Trotting after the male, she sat down a ways away from the others. She kept her ears pinned forward, attentive for what he had to say. She wondered if they had any medical supplies on hand, dried hides, sharp bones, dried herbs from the thawing season. She glanced over nevously at the other wolves. She hadn't met many of them. Maybe she should introduce herself later? No, she had to tend to the injured, scavenge a few scraps from the carcasses, and then travel back. Whether it had been the fact that she grew up in a pack where she couldn't close her eyes without worrying about her safety or the fact that isolation for so long had made her wary, she couldn't comfortably sleep around these wolves. Maybe some day, but not today.

Turning her gaze onto the injured alpha again, having time to take in his wounds and scars. He had seen shit, that's for sure. She squirmed, the cold seeping through her thin skin. She needed to place some weight on, or surely she would freeze. She thought back to her main thought, thinking about what she could do to help the alpha out. 'If they had herbs, I could try using a paste to heal those scars over.' She remembered the foul smelling concoction she had used on herself, minimizing her memories of abuse.

Turning away from her thoughts all together, she looked back towards the alpha. She'd have to deal with injuries later.

Perking up Cerin had nudged the smaller male "Aye, he was. And now I follow capt' grumps" She replied, pulling herself up as she shook off her pelt "Anywhoot, he's callin' for a pack meetin' which means I gotta go" she added as she stretched out slightly.
Leaving the small male by the den the female trotted to where Soul had called for the meeting "Aye, what ye callin' 'bout?" Cerin asked as everyone else had gathered. She herself was curious on what he wanted, quite fond of how smooth his howl sounded compared to his rough exterior. Rolling he ears forward she had seated herself, not really in the mood to be bothering people with cuddles after all the excitement, it kinda made her nervous she guessed.

Mitsui had eyed Soul long after he had taken down the bear, to say she was surprised was an understatement, a lone wolf had just taken down a large furry mammal that usually put up quite a large amount of difficulty for a large pack. How the hell.. No matter, as much as she hated Soul, he was the Alpha, and that howl was a sign he had something to say. "Going to gripe about us being incompetent some more or somethin'..?" She muttered under her breath, eyeing the other members of the back through a narrowed gaze. So this was how big their pack truly was, overrun by females no less. Sheesh, no wonder he was full of himself, the guy practically had a harem..

Though she also didn't understand why every female here adored this guy, as strong and colossal in size that he was, that's all that really interested Mitsui. His attitude alone made her less than interested, which would always end up haunting her in the end. Especially with her past, which she had outright refused to explain when she had joined, saying she had her reasons behind what she had done and had the right to remain quiet. Though she had recently begun to question why she stuck around other than to help the pack.

Right, she was here for the pack, not some over-cocky male.

As more and more wolves arrived, Jojo felt an overwhelming urge to run away. From sitting tall with ears pricked, she was now hunched over, ears to the side, her eyes darting nervously back and forth. Her breath was more ragged, her heart beating faster to keep pace. Her sinewy muscles where taunt, and the slightest unintentional shuffle towards her direction made her jump. She hadn't been in a pack this large. . . for about a year and a quarter. All of the other wolves easily dwarfed her, except for a small pup that sat quietly, admiration silently shining in his eyes. Jojo's eyes flicked between the youngster and the alpha, her brain registering the shared blood.

The number of males surprised her; in her old pack, the pack of Bare Bones, males would be placed under evaluation and if they didn't pass they would be brutally slaughtered, their mothers forced to eat the corpse. It was a silly practice, they had thought that it would make the mother give birth to all females. Her brother had just barely survived his test, and challenged the old alpha when he had reached a year. He was strong, brave. It was baffling that they were related. How could the alpha of this pack tolerate these many challengers? Glancing back towards the wolf in question, her eyes flicked from scar to scar. He no doubt had fought his way to the top, his scars illustrated that vividly. Maybe the others feared him? Respected him? She gave another jump as a wolf shuffled, scooting back even further away from the others.

(I probably won't have Azalea go after Soul, she wouldn't have the confidence to make the first move. xD Also the fact that I'm betting at least three females will be after him at once at one point in time.)

Azalea / Female / Lead Hunter
The female took a place in the general area of Navdur, but didn't look at him. She twitched her nose and looked back at Czar. Azalea motioned for him to join his older brother and alpha. She sat quietly and very still, awaiting the announcement that would surely come. What does he want now..? He already took down a bear and ruined a possible hunt, not that I'm complaining about the food but still... She thought, a now slightly confused look on her face. Azalea prepared to listen to Soul, angling her head towards him.
A slight disturbance in the air alerted her that another wolf was coming, and a small one at that. She turned her head to see the loner that they had found on pack ground earlier, or rather she found them. The female did not move, but spoke quietly in her direction. "Good to see you here. I saw you looking at Czar, the small one. If it weren't for him you would already be dead." Azalea usually didn't speak much, but she would always give advice or a warm welcome. She paused for a minute, then continued in her hushed tone. "Azalea, by the way. What's yous?" Azalea was no where near Jojo, but still she addressed her.

Ertos / Male / Shaman (eventually)
The creamy male watched as Cerin left, and followed behind her after a small internal debate. He sat down to the far left of Soul, trying not to catch any attention. Ertos quietly stayed in his place, his eyes studying the snow .

Navdur / Male / Guard
He looked out at the small crowd of wolves, studying each one. Ashe was no where to be seen and Navdur worried even more. Had he hurt her? Navdur licked his lips nervously and resisted the urge to start pacing around the place.

Jojo's head swerved towards the voice of the huntress. Rocking back on her haunches she nervously opened her mouth.

"Judgement Day." She whispered back. "I don't know if him being there was a blessing or a curse. I seem to be having a lot of both as of late." After glancing Azalea over with her eyes, she scooted closer. "A friend called me Jojo, for short. I'm only really good at medicine. . ." She twitched her ears in embarrassment. This female was much more collected than her, much more. . . powerful. Jojo felt quite uncomfortable around the unusually calm female. "Did you find this place too, or where you born here?" Her mismatched eyes flicked upward from her tense position. Another breeze made her shiver, her pitiful coat doing little to keep the cold from sinking into her visible bones. Her gaze travelled towards the carcasses, causing a string of drool to drip from her muzzle which she quickly licked back up.

Watching as the pack finally arrived and settled themselves, his gaze flickering between each individual until he stopped at his little brother and gave him a light nod of his head to come over. The young male looking wearily around him before high tailing it over to his brother and sitting beneath him, snuggling into his warmth and protection when the male finally sat down. I gathered you here for three things tonight. The first being that we have new members joining our ranks. Some who had been here for a few days already and I didn't take notice of. Or didn't care for. You know who you are and will come speak with me later for your rankings. He said as he flickered his gaze from Jojo to Ertos. Surprised to see them both gathered in and already mingled closely with the others. The second reason is that we need a beta. Someone to take charge when I go away on a hunting party with the others or for my own reasons. Ive been thinking about it for awhile and decided on the best candidate out of the two. Azalea. He said turning his head to look at the lead hunter who would now become his beta. He would have to put someone in her place. Or just have Mitsui tame charge of both positions and merge the two ranks. Some of the guards liked hunting and vice versa. May as well. And lastly.. In order to keep myself in check and the others unharmed when I get into a mood, I have to choose a mate. Now this one wasn't easy. I needed to figure out which female out of the many that would be able to handle my temper and what not. Even wondering if two mates would be better but if my mother were alive, shed smack me good for that one. Soul said with a light chuckle which had his brother look up at him curiously before tilting his head in a cute puppish manner. "What's a mate, Soul?"
