Cold Mountain Rescue The earth cracked and shattered, the ground shaking and crumbling into the massive rip in the earth that tore through Lynden. Humans have fled, taking with them their domestic pets and most of their petty belongings. They left behind everything else, homes filled with items, furniture, rotting food. Stores standing still and roads deserted with cars lining its streets. And most importantly, they left behind an entire big cat rescue. Tigers, lions, bobcats, and the like trapped in cages while the ground shook and tore open now freed by the great earthquake. Their cages having been torn open in some areas, and others that were stuck must find a way to free themselves with or without help. Or risk dying of starve in their enclosures. But those that made it out now have a choice, stay within the city limits and live off leftover meats and rotting food left by the humans. Or flee to the mountains and learn to live there by themselves without human care or intervention, the way their ancestors and families have for generations. The choices for survival are few, and it will not be an easy way of living no matter the choice. But winter is coming, hunting will be hard in the mountains but the city reeks of death. Will these big cats, these hunters, survive or be wiped out? .:The Rules:. • All LioDen rules apply. Make sure you follow them. • No powerplaying, godmodding, etc. You don’t need to ask for permission before starting a fight, but you cannot automatically defeat or kill your opponent without the other player’s permission. Let’s keep fights fair. Also remember that every action has a consequence. And one wrong move may very well end with a death. • Fade to black when necessary (18+ content, excessive gore/violence, and birthing). • This is a semi-literate to advanced roleplay. You will be required to post at least one paragraph (five sentences) and use proper grammar. • Please try to be active. If you need to go on a hiatus let me know. • Slots for this roleplay may be limited for certain species. • Do not use someone's artwork for your character unless it was specifically made for you (and in that case I'll need proof). • Put ‘Cabbage’ In the other if you read the rules! • Up to four characters per person to start with, If I see you can handle them then you may request another character. • This is a rescue center so keep in mind that none of these cats will really understand how to survive in the wild other than instincts they’ve already had. • I will allow one king cheetah, one white/strawberry/albino tiger, and one white lion as these are rarer mutations and you are less likely to see them often. .:Cold Mountain Rescue Rules:. • These cats were either born in captivity, raised or mistreated by humans, or taken from the wild as cubs to be kept as exotic pets. They are used to being around human beings even if they don’t particularly like humans. • Some of these cats have been declawed and hunting for them will be difficult, they should be accompanied by another cat who does have their claws. • There are species of cats who are not use to living in this colder environment and may have trouble adjusting to living in the snow. • Currently there is no uniform pride or group, that will come later when they finally organize themselves. • Any rescued cubs from the nursery will be cared for by the entire group, they will be fed first and cared for early in the morning before a cat is designated to watch them for the day. Misha stands at a short and slightly stocky 19 inches at the shoulder and, including her lengthy tail, is 25 inches long. Retaining a golden brown undercoat, she has an odd assortment of black-ringed spots. With a pale pink nose and amber eyes, she's an exotic pet-owners dream. Personality: Taken from her mother at a young age and raised unreliably in a rich man's mansion, she was never properly taught to hunt or care for herself. Always willing to learn, however, has taught Misha to care for herself and expect anything from life. Ready to prove herself to anyone she deems trustworthy, this is a loyal and fiercely territorial leopard. Relationships: Crush/Mate: n/a History: Misha wasn't that odd of a case; another animal born in captivity and bought by some rich hothead who thought he could keep a wild animal inside. Like any wildcat, the clouded leopard was born to roam, and found herself ruining things in his large mansion day by day. Resorting to violence, the man began to beat her into submission and turn her into the "perfect little kitty". It wasn't until a year or two later when he was arrested for an entirely different crime that she was rescued. Name: Nikias Age: 4 Years Old Gender: Male Sexuality: Bisexual - Biromantic Species: Golden Tabby Tiger Rank: Fighter Appearance: A large, broad-shouldered feline with a thick, long-furred white undercoat with a light golden saddle and mask. His stripes are a slightly darker colour that cover the majority of his gold coat and appear to fade lightly down his limbs and melt into his white fur. His eyes are a very light colour of sage green. Nikias is quite athletically built and is a very efficient and powerful fighter. His body is seemingly unmarked aside from the deep v-shaped knick that cuts through one of his ears. Personality: Despite being quite intimidating, Nikias is quite level-headed and logical, losing his temper only when he has to repeat himself or deal with those who aren't the most cooperative. 0 players like this post! Alkaid tends to adopt any cat he finds, hence the "mysterious uncle" bit. Is very protective of those he adopts and if anyone threatens them, if talking it out won't work, he will attack. Relationships:N/A Crush or Mate: N/A History:Was keep as a pet by a drug lord and was mistreated before being seized and sent to the animal rescue.
