Lexa ran off to the director of the fair and talked to him for a hot second before she ran for the stalls. She walked in front of Triggers cage and slid the stall door open, "Sorry Echo, I am using Trigger for this one." She said and took Trigger out and saddled him with her saddle and then gave him a pat before mounting the buckskin stallion who figited excitedly. She warmed him up quickly before heading for the arena, Since she wasn't riding her own horse she would have to split the title and that's what she planned to do.

Lexa rode Trigger over to line up and they where last in line. She smiled seeing James and she waved to him as the energetic stallion moved his feet impatiently. She gave him a pat on the shoulder as they approached James, "Surprise Surprise!!" she said with a laugh and a smile.

Lexa laughed and looked in the arena and watched as they raced against the clock. She turned her attention back to James, "Yes I did." She said with a laugh and gave him a goodbye smile once she was up. She took a deep breath before sitting lightly in the eager stallions saddle and let him take control. He took off and rounded the first barrel nicely and the 2 after that where snug and almost perfect Crossing the line she looked at the clock and smiled seeing she beat the other 2 by a whole 2 seconds which is a lot.

Lexa rode out of the arena as the next few finalists went for their round. "We are going to win, I am not riding my horse, so we are in this together." She said and hoped off and took the saddle off the stallion and turned her head hearing the announcer come on. "The winner of the barrel racing sate finials is.... Alexa Griffin Riding James (Forgot last name) Horse Trigger." He called and the crowd cheered as they motioned for Lexa to take a lap around the arena. She took a handful of Triggers man and tossed herself onto the stallion and looked to James, "Are you coming or not?" She laughed extending a hand to him to get on with her.

Lexa let him get situated and she smirked slightly as he wrapped one arm around her. "You too." She said and Trigger moved forward and she smiled waving a hand before directing Trigger to the center where they received a belt buckle and a metal.

Lexa laughed and let her gaze travel over the crowd and her eyes landed on his family who where smiling. She smiled and looked back over her shoulder to James. She laughed lightly at his comment as she guided Trigger to the exit gate of the arena.

Lexa shook her head and looked around, "I doubt it he probably wants to follow me home on the bike to make sure I go home in the first place." She said as they exited the arena. She looked around to see if she could catch sight of her brother as the wave of people began to leave from the stands.
