September Event: The Harvest

(hello, new cat, his name is oddeye and he is an orange tabby with different colored eyes)

Oddeye walked back to camp, the gathering was useless and he slept through most of it. he came back so very late, and noticed the overgrowing more than usual. He slipped into camp, yet most everyone was out of sight. "with the plentiful food you'd expect everyone having a good time out of their dens" he meowed, disappointed. He liked seeing his clanmates have fun, but everyone was in their den. probably eating or sleeping. Oddeye went into the warrior den and saw a couple cats, sleeping.

Stonefire padded back into camp, her tail flicking about as she glanced around, before she walked to the warriors den and stepped over other warriors before she laid down in her nest, curling her tail around herself.

Oakpaw - Mentions: Oddeye, Stonefire

Satisfied with his patrol, Oakpaw headed back to camp. He was going to be made a warrior soon. He stopped dead in his tracks. He was going to be a warrior who had never been in the Warrior's den. With that, he set off to the den. He knew he wasn't allowed in, but he wanted to see where he would be spending the rest of his days.

He noticed how dark it was right away. He could barely make out the shapes of the cats. He was too busy scanning around to realize it when it happened. He had run right into Oddeye! Oakpaw squeaked when he saw two different eyes turn towards him. He hurried to back up, and backed right into a sleeping Stonefire.

Oakpaw's eyes flashed between the two cats. He was nervous. This was the first impression he had on these cats, and he couldn't seem to find his footing! How would they ever trust him as a warrior. "S...S...Sorry...." Oakpaw said.

Stonefire's eyes opened and she picked up her head to see Oakpaw.

"Oakpaw? What are you doing in here?" She asked quietly as to not wake the other warriors, but it was stern. "You're not supposed to be in here until after you're made a warrior." She said. Stone fire didn't sound mad, just a little irritated from being woken up from her sleep.

"it's fine, Oakpaw. I did it when I was an apprentice too, just try to be a little more stealthy" Oddeye liked kits and apprentices, all young and most times cute. he stood up and stretched. "I should get up anyways." Oddeye headed for the clearing. his head turned back, showing both different eyes on one orange pelt. "and besides, he would want to see where he would sleep" Oddeye purred, finally exiting.

Oakpaw appreciated Oddeye's lenience, but Stonefire clearly wasn't that willing to give up. He thought in his head..."Uh.. Hollyfeather. I haven't seen her...I...uh....had something really important to tell her. I...um...I think that I may have smelled Riverclan cats over the border!" Oakpaw knew that this lie was too big as soon as he said it, but he did not change his story. "It was really fresh!"

Oddeye continued out of the den. He knew the apprentice had been lying, but it was a possibility, he made his way out of the camp to check on the borders, there was the scent of a Riverclan cat, but it was stale. nothing they could do about it now. He walked back to camp with a rabbit in his jaws, it was going to feed at least a cat. He dropped it onto the fresh kill pile. He had tried to memorize most of the herbs as a kit and still practiced naming them, as far as he knew, he was pretty good, so he went to Dewflight, hoping the medicine cat would need help. "Dewflight? do you need any help gathering herbs?" he said nervously, not quite knowing what to say.

Hollyfeather, Mentions: None! Open!

Hollyfeather wandered aimlessly around camp. She really had no idea of what to do. She looked at some other cats who were talking together but chose to not join them, they wouldn't want her interrupting them anyway. Lately Hollyfeather had been feeling useless and excluded. She hoped that Cloudstar wasn't mad at her for asking about Oakpaw.

Hollyfeather jumped when Oakpaw spoke, she had not been expecting him to talk to her.
"Sure... what is it?" She replied, she blinked her green eyes. She was glad to have something to do, no matter how small. She stretched leisurely, her calico pelt gleaming in the sun.

Stonefire stood up and stretched a bit before pacing out of the den and began towards the prey pile, her fluffy tail swaying as she walked. She grabbed a small squirrel from the pile before walking off to a semi-sunny spot in the camp to eat in peace.

"Well.. you see... I kind of told Oddeye that I was looking for you because a Riverclan cat was in our territory. Would you mind saying that we chased one off? Huge? Maybe tortoiseshell?" Oakpaw did not wait for a response. "Thanks! You're the best!" And he bounded off quickly, trying to put as much distance between himself and Hollyfeather once she processed what he had said.

She laid in her cool den and quickly rose when Oddeye entered. As he asked if he could accompany her to go herb gathering, Dewflight glanced at the herb storage. There was an average amount of herbs, But in a few moons the cold will come She thought to herself; by then herbs will be hard to find. She remained silent to think for a bit before finally looking at Oddeye, "Might as well." Dewflight walked past Oddeye, expecting him to follow, and began to exit camp.

Alderfall - Father of 2 - Mentions: N/A

Alderfall swiftly leaves camp, not bothering anyone. He decides to let out his anxiety and anger on some hunting, so he heads over to his old spot to search. He could immediately smell the Marigold near the trunk, it always seemed to grow back, and was useful for the med den. He has learned a few things about herbs in his time as a warrior.
Smelling a odd smell, he ducks in the grass. His ears perk as he hears a tiny mew. He slowly pokes his head up, seeing a female cat lying on the other side of the trunk. Her belly wasn't moving. He steps out of the shadows of the grass, noticing a tiny white ball of fur, covered in black spots. It's eyes were already open, so it must be a few weeks old. Maybe a moon.
The shecat was already dead. He could smell the blood, and it was slightly fresh. Probably a day or so.
He picks up the kit in his mouth, and it was too exhausted to squirm. He carefully heads back to camp, hoping Cloudstar had enough milk to feed one more.

(I was thinking this kit could be adopted as a brother to Bramblekit and Leafkit. :D I want his name to be Leopardkit. Need a taker (: )
