September Event: The Harvest

Alderfall

Looking over to see Featherpaw approaching, he smiles happily. "Hi there Feather! We're just hanging around, but as you can tell, Oakpaw is getting a lot of attention today."
Alderfall giggles lowly, breathing in deep and licking his paw before looking back up at his sons. He notices Hollyfeather head off into the nursery, and wondered what that was about. Perhaps she was bored?

Bramblekit

Bramble mewed lightly, ditching Oakpaw's ear and climbing onto his head. He sits down between the apprentices ears, saying, "I'm king of the cats!"
He laughed uncontrollably, and his eyes widen as he slides down Oakpaw's face, and then felt air swirling around him as he was falling towards the ground.

LeafKit--BrambleKit

LeafKit, seeing his brother fall, squeaked, trying to scramble forward "daaaad! Catch him!" The kit yelped, knowing that he wouldn't be enough to cushion his brother's fall

Alderfall - Bramblekit, Leafkit

Alderfall whips at the sound of the cry, maneuvering quick as lightning to catch Bramblekit who was falling from Oakpaw's head. He sweeps his paws outward, catching the ball of fur just as his paws hit the ground. With a gasp, he looks down at Bramblekit, looking him over to see if he was hurt.
"Bramblekit, are you hurt?"

Bramblekit - Daddy, Leafkit

Bramble shivers violent, he'd never felt anything like that before.. it scared him. He stutters to his father, "I'm okay, I'm okay.. Th-thank y-you daddy."
His fur fluffed up, he straightens up slowly, wiggling his stubby tail before stepping out of his fathers paws. Too late.
Alderfall stops him. "You need to be careful son, especially when you're having fun. Now, Leafkit, come on. We're going back to mother."
Feeling his scruff being clamped, Bramblekit whimpers for having to go back inside. This was no fun at all. He wish he could say sorry to his brother, but it looks like being quiet is the best option right now.

He looked at her, slightly confused and then after a few moments realized how it could have been taken.. he smiled, "as the greatest friend in the whole world" he purred, not knowing what exactly she wanted him to say to her.. he liked her as friend, always showed friendly affection and basically showed friendly love.. he didn't know what She-cat's wanted to hear.. he was never good at it and sadly, he thought he never would be... oh well..

LeafKit--BrambleKit, AlderFall

LeafKit scrambled down off the rock, his tail fluffed as he chased his father. The small kit's golden eyes were wide with shock, his gaze locked on his brother as if trying to see if he was at all hurt even though the LeafKit was much too small and far behind to be able to see if there was any cuts one BrambleKit

Featherpaw's tail flickered. "Not quite yet Oakpaw, though I did hear that prey's returning." She meowed, giggling as he was taken down by Bramblekit and looked over at Alderfall. "Oh yeah, I can tell." She chuckled.

Oakpaw hardly heard what Featherpaw said. He felt Bramblekit's body slide off of him almost instantly. Watching Alderfall and the kits run to him for comfort made Oakpaw feel as though he had done something bad. "Are you alright, Bramblekit? I am so sorry." He looked at Alderfall. "We really shouldn't be up here at all." Oakpaw lept off the rock. He was much smaller on the ground.

Oakpaw looked and saw Featherpaw. "Uhm..yeah, I'm not much of a queen." he explained,

Dewflight raised her head as she watched the kit tumble down the boulder. She sat up, waiting by to see if her help was needed. Seeing that the kit was carried off, Dewflight shook her head and laid back down. An uneventful day, she thought, sighing. She had little concern for the kit, he at least seemed fine and could walk it off.

Hollyfeather shifted her paws. "W-w-well... I just thought I should re-remind you that... um, Oakpaw is overdue to be a w-warrior. I know you're busy, s-s-sorry..." Hollyfeather awkwardly told Cloudstar. Her calico pelt hot with embarrassment at her stuttering. She hated it when she had to talk to leaders, they were always so much smarter and better than her.

But, thank you, HollyFeather" she mewed, glancing towards AlderFall and the kits when they entered the nursery for a split moment before her golden gaze returned to HollyFeather "is there anything else you need?"

Featherwhisker looked around the camp and watched as one of the kits fell. She started, but held herself back. She then meekly sat by a tree to gaze at the whole camp. It was so nice to be around so mant kindhearted cats. She laid down and rested her head on her paws sighing. How nice it would be to have kits.
