Echopaw looks at the rabbit and the at Whitebee. "I'm fine and what herbs did you bring?" She asks, bending over the rabbit and taking a bite. She looks at the pile of herbs and then at the store of herbs. 'I just love sorting herbs.' She thought, cheerily, to herself.

"Just the basics," Whitebee replied purring lightly as Echopaw ate before moving her focus to the herbs she had placed down, "I mostly just picked juniper berries, some fennel, couple raspberry leaves and chervil since I'm sure we're set on the more important things" She listed off before continuing, "You know what those are for Echopaw?"

Echopaw looked at the herbs as Whitebee named them. "Juniper berries are for soothing belly aches, giving strength, and it helps troubles breathing. Fennel is for helping hip pains. Raspberry leaves are for stopping bleeding during kitting and chervil is for infected wounds. I think I got all that right." She said, explaining what all the herbs were used for.

Whitebee's purr thickened at Echopaw explaining what the herbs were used for, "Well done you did but chervil also calm contraction pains in queens which we may need since Quickstep is due soon. The chervil could also help her fight any infection she may have though..." The golden tabby trailed off in thought for a moment before flicking her tail around her left leg. "Hopefully Quickstep gives birth soon, it'll be a good chance for you to learn"

Echopaw looked at her mentor while she was talking and she smilied. "I hope everything goes well with her kitting. Little kits are always so adorable and its always hard when something goes wrong." Echopaw said. She looked at her mentor when she realized there was something else she would have to learn. "Did you learn battle training and hunting when you were a medicine cat apprentice?"

"Kits are quite a blessing and would be nice to see younger cats" Whitebee hummed out before flicking her ears backwards at the question, "I learned a swipe or two but hunting isn't something I learned besides the crouch" She replied with a shrug. "After you learn a bit more and almost ready to earn your full name I'll have a warrior teach you the basics"

Echopaw almost jumped in delight. "I can't wait." She said. She looked in the store and saw plenty of herbs. She grabbed the Juniper berries out of the pile and she gently placed them with the rest in the store.

"The moons will fly by before you know it" Whitebee meowed before gathering up the other three remaining herbs to follow her apprentice in putting them up though she exited the medicine cat den after doing so to finish off the rabbit and bury the bones a little ways off.
