Sunflare

Finding a little patch of catnip, Sunflare rips it off the stem, then goes a bit farther, funding Marigold. Plucking it up, he heads back to an old tree he saw earlier, taking all the cobwebs he could handle.
His heart was beating so fast...
*flashback*
He was lying on the ground next to the same tree Ravenfeather was, bleeding out as Cass (Moonfrost) ran off to get herbs. Shadeclaw was shoving his nose into Sunflares pelt, crying for him to come back.
*end*
Sunflare stumbles, tears jerking his eyes.
He shakes it off, heading for his best friend. He was needed, and he won't let anyone else die in this horrible forest.

He opened his eyes and tried to keep his eyes open, something called him and he wasn't about to find out what it was.. he held on, he wasn't leaving and he was going to fight as long as he could. Even though his eyelids were heavy, his muscles ached, he waited for his best friend.. if Starclan really wanted him, he wasn't going to let them.. he was going to stay there for his best friend, no matter what.

Poppyfreckle sees Sunflare running by and he pricked up his ears, he had fallen asleep by the river. He grabbed his own marigold and ran next to him, this was the one who went on the journey. " toughen up, Sunflare!" He growled in a muffled sound. He paced beside the cat.

He ached, he tried to endure it but, the amount of pain he was in was making him fight to stay awake. His eyes lids were heavy, he couldn't move at all now.. he felt like an injured rabbit who knew it's predator would come and take it if it didn't move yet, it couldn't. He felt helpless, not being able to even move, he was scared he was going to die.. die in a place so far away from his own clan, that thought just gnawed at him... his pain won and he closed his eyes, going unconscious..

Poppyfreckle bounded for Ravenfeather and skidded to a halt, he grabbed the cobwebs the other cat brought and roughly tied it on in the blood that poureday out the most. Aso the bleeding stopped he dabbed the cobwebs on the lighter parts and licked the cats head, he hoped that he would be fine. ARE grabbed the marigold and began gnawing on it to make a poultice.

He was unconscious but, a few words escaped him as the cobwebs were being applied,, "Sunflare.. Are... you ok?..." he then fell silent, his breathing was normal. He had given up and just let himself drift off to sleep, hoping it would keep the feeling of pain down to a minimum..

Poppyfreckle shook his head as he applied the poultice , " thats how Sunflare's road trip buddy died so you better keep your eyes open as wide as an owls".
The tom finished applying the herb and sat down, he had flies flying around him from his ungroomed and stinking pelt . He obviously realised it but he didn'the bother anymore, what was the point?

he opened his eyes at suddenly hearing a voice, he was totally out of it.. He didnt have the strength to speak but, Starclan was not taking him. not now, he would stop fighting when he was an elder, he would join them then but, not now..

Sunflare cleaned Ravenfeather's wounds, working quickly.
As soon as the cobwebs were on, he looks at his friend. "Ravenfeather, stay with me."
A lump going into his throat, Sunflare looked down at him, his heart beating fast.

He looked at Sunflare and smiled, still no strength to speak but, he thought Sunflare would know what he wanted to say to him. I'm not going anywhere... don't look so sad... I will stay to protect you and my other friends along with the clan...

Honeyripple I heard is dead and so is Fire berry but Thunderclan medicine cat has spoken to me about a new recruit , they think that he is the brother of Honeyripple. Did you now a cat by the name of Honeyripple?".

His ears shot up at the mention of Honeyripple, he had heard of the cat, he had an idea about what she looked like. But he never really met her in person... they wanted her brother to be a medicine cat, here??
