Sunrise/Duskfall Packs Sign-Ups Shadowpack Sign-Ups Gathering Place Chat Thread Sign-ups The main camp of Starseeker Pack lies in the wide, round bottom of a shallow canyon basin, a month's walk from the borders of three other major packs, Duskfall, Sunrise, and Shadowpack. These wolves are usually intelligent, but not skilled in hand-to-hand (or in this case, claw and tooth) combat. To make up for this, however, the wolves of Starseeker have, for generations, been master craftsmen. Weapons and armor have been their specialty for as long as they could fashion tools, but the crafting wolves specialize in jewlery and architecture as well. Fox, ram, badger, deer, coyote, and wild boar are often found nearby in the forests and plains. In the open plain, a bison herd can often be found, but such animals are incredibly difficult to hunt, often needing half the pack to get a decent-sized juvenile. A long, winding river flows a day's walk away and water is often difficult to get. Character SheetsNo thread generated. (Can i just say....IM really tired of Dixie being on and doing nothing. She wanted to do a 1x1 rp. BUGGED BUGGED BUGGGGGGEDDDD me to post when everything was ready, that was almost 2 weeks ago. Her eyes twinkled humorously and she padded into the Artisan den, fishing around for a few seconds and running her front paws through some half dried mud to keep them clean and protected during her carving. A few seconds later she came out with a sheathed knife, a half made pelt rug, a started sheathe, and the beginnings of a ram-fur cloak and a good sized piece of slightly used charcoal. "Beats working in the weaponmaker's shack, I know that," she laughed, eyeing the ram fur, "I call the cloak. I've had some training as an armorer in my youth." As much as she preferred making axes, tomahawks, and knives, when she was an apprentice and under the training of the older adults, she dabbled in cloakmaking and how to mark on the hides. I was asked to make a welcoming cloak for him, so you can set up the cloak and ill decorate it." Delindra gripped the pelt in her jaw and passed it to Aiera before reaching back in her ginger fox-skin pack for the charcoal piece. Delindra settled into the dirt and spread out her deer pelt rug. "This isn't my first time with a cloak you know," she said through the corners of her mouth, carefully drawing a thick line down the backbone of the cloak. It would be a cloak fit for a king, or at least fit to make a good impression. "I don't even get these nice of arrangements," she chirped, her voice muffled as she traced a curved black line along where the shoulder would be, "But I can't complain. She had just begun attaching a few feathers to the neckline and had developed her own pattern. With a trained and patient eye, she tied in a short brown feather, then a normal-length tan feather, and lastly, a tall white feather. Flattening out the skin, she dipped the coal down and gently smoothed it over the rough patch that had matted down with something with a metallic tang to its scent - likely old and dried blood that had matted the fur. She passed the coal back towards Aiera and chuckled slightly "Ahh, seems you do have a knack for cloak making. It looks like a dark sunhigh above a dark storm. As she did the math, she listed the tasks that she and the rest of the pack would have to carry out. Finishing the cloaks for the young Noble, making more training weapons using blunt stones and worn claws, crafting jewellery for him and his escorts, overworking the hunters to try and salvage more food to feed a whole new member, and more.
