As he spoke he continued to listen closely to his surroundings, he could hear mice running under berry bushes ahead as well as a rabbit behind them hopping along the path.

He nodded with a smile, "Thank you.. but I guess I will get sick" he joked, "I know I will feel at ease in Starclan knowing you will protect my family if I pass on" he smiled. He looked around as they walked, ears suddenly perked.

He smiled with his friend, feeling accomplished that he could ease his friend's worries just a little bit. As they were walking he picked up a scent that seemed fresh, and nothing like someone from their clan." I believe we have visitors," he mumbled as he stopped in his tracks.

He didn't have to sniff, he knew one of the scents.. he whispered, "Snowclan.. seems like Icestar and a cat whose scent I don't know have stopped by.." His tail tip flicked.

"Well let's go see what they want, they would only be here if something was wrong. Maybe they're worried about the prophecy." His step was now with purpose, his made his large figure look even larger, his previous soft expression was now hard and cold as he went to meet with the neighboring clan's members.

She walked after her leader, she could smell Nightclan's scents as they neared."They're close,we need to be careful Icestar," she mumbled and walked beside her leader she was sure to be aware of her own surroundings to protect the most important cat in her clan.

His tail tip swayed as if showing agitation. He padded after Robinheart and as they reached the cats, his pupils went to slits. "What owes such a visit from two snowy She-cat's?" It wasn't supposed to be a joke.. he looked at them seriously.

Icestar
She nodded to Speckledclaw and then after Riverwhisker spoke, she gave a smile. "We wanted to make sure you cats were ok.. if you need help you can always ask." Her icy blue eyes looked between the two Tom's.

He stood tall over the smaller Snowclan leader, her small warrior shrunk herself as they approached, obviously intimidated by their size. "Thank you for your concern, but now we are fine. I can assure you if the unlikely chance comes we will be sure remember your offer. And I speak for our leader when I say the same to all of you, we do know the dangers the prophecy withholds so we find it polite that you offer your aid." His strong voice caste down on the minimized she-cats. He flicked his tail with slight agitation but kept his tone and attitude professional.

As they approached the large cat she began to feel a tinge of anxiety, she imagined herself having to fight against the larger cat and shivered at the thought.She would never be able to win against him, he could possibly even snap their leader in two." W-we want what's best for both clans," she tried to keep her voice as strong as theirs but failed as her tone held a shaky note.

She actually stood tall and was just a few inches smaller than the Nightclan's deputy. Her icy blue eyes showed nothing, they were blank as the blue sky without clouds. She gave a smile, "ok, that's nice to know" she looked at Robinheart and her face went into some smile. She wasn't scared or intimidated by either tom. She was braver and stronger than she actually looked, she had always been taught to not show how strong you really are until provoked. She looked at Riverwhisker, the smile turning a little dull, she remembered him as an Apprentice once her friend became a warrior and then died a moon after.

He gave a sigh, he seemed uncharacteristically hostile. "Now you two can leave.." He mainly looked at Icestar. He knew she had usually come to play and hang out but no other cats knew.. maybe Sunfang did? Who knows.. but it was different now, she was a leader and frankly now his clan wouldn't welcome her as a friend anymore. He looked between their tiny patrol and their tiny group thing.. he lightened up a little bit, it was kind of funny.. two She-cat's against two Tom's.

"Now Riverwhisker," he had a warning tone he didn't want any trouble. "How about we walk you to the border?" He smiled down at the snow clan cats, he wasn't showing his strength he was just standing tall, for he was a bigger cat it was nice to stand straight up and it made him seem like he was serious in which he was.

Speckledclaw
She watched everything in silence, she sensed that Icestar and Riverwhisker did not have good history.She analyzed both Toms' features, She was looking for their weak points just in case something may happen. If she could attach to their weak points then she would have a chance of weakening them.

She smiled, "that would be nice, thank you.. um.. who are you?" She hadn't actually met Ravenstar's new deputy yet.. the gathering wasn't coming for a little while yet anyway... she looked at Riverwhisker, she stayed quiet because she wasn't in her own territory.. starting a battle in some other cats territory is basically a one way ticket to starclan. She let up the tough look and looked cute as usual, her fur fluffed up a little bit as she looked like a playful and trying to look charming She-cat. She shook her fur as she settled down, but cats couldn't put their guard down around her no matter what she looks like.. some can but, if she feels like they are going to try something, she will not hesitate. She didn't want to anyway.. the deputy looked pretty strong. As she waited for the others, she sat down and scratched behind her ear with her hind Leg.

He backed off once Robinheart said something and he gave a small yawn. He watched Icestar just change her attitude. His ears flattened against his head as his eyes went from Icestar to Speckledclaw. He looked at what he thought might be some new warrior.. he stayed quiet and waited for every cat to start walking them to the border before he started to walk.

" Oh forgive me, I'm Robinheart the new deputy of Nightclan," he flicked his ear due to a small bug buzzing around."And is this an apprentice?" He looked down at the small car beside her. She was so small, he wondered why Icestar would bring a small cat with her rather than someone stronger."I'm not trying to rush but how about we begin our walk back, the clan might be getting worried about Riverwhisker and I since we've been out for quite sometime" he began to slowly walk closer to the she-cats.

She noticed the one named Riverwhisker looking at her, he seemed displeased. She gave him a curious look before hearing Robinheart speak about her." I'm a warrior, my name is Speckledclaw," she stood up feeling agitated due to someone thinking she was an apprentice. She may have been small but she wasn't too tiny.

She put her tail onto Speckledclaw's shoulder and walked beside Robinheart. "I see.. nice to meet you. I don't know if you know me really but I'm Icestar." She smiled. She was always kind hearted no matter where she was or who was with her. They may be from a different clan but, they were cats just the same. She watched as the river came into view, they hadn't walked that far into their territory so it wasn't that far.

He took the other side and walked with them. He wasn't very happy but he wasn't known to start anything.. he soon looked happy and a smile was on his face like usual. He just kept silent as they neared Snowclan territory.

"Ah, yes I've heard little things. It must be hard running a clan, especially if you are upcoming on a prophecy. I do have the weight on my shoulders but nothing like a leader would, I can only pray to starclan our clans pull through," He heard the rushing waters as they neared the great pine. He walked close to the waters edge and gazed down and the rapids."Well seems like this is where we stop, the two of you need to be careful."

Speckledclaw
She felt awkward around the older cats that were conversating. She lagged behind taking in her surroundings just incase she would have to return here for any reason. She decided to cross first to make sure it was safe in their own territory. "May starclan be with you," She bowed a farewell to the other clan before dipping into the water and swimming across, this time she strategically swam through the rapids, catching soft currents as she went in a zigzag form. She creeped out on the otherside and shook the liquid from her sleek coat.

(Actually the big pine tree marks the border between Nightclan and Snowclan so, all of them are now in Snowclan territory XD)

She sat beside the water's edge and gave a cheeky remark, "you're past the border sunshine.." she gestured towards them being a few lengths from the big pine tree. She was playing around and looked very friendly, "but, being a leader has some perks.. I get to name the great warriors and lead a wonderful clan... you will have the pleasure of it too once the time is right." She didn't mean anything bad, just that he will get the great honor in good time. "Cherish the time you have with the loved ones and friends you have.. for these forests are brutal and may not allow any cat to stay alive for more than they want them to." She spoke like a wise old elder when she was still fairly young... she was coming almost to 30 moons now actually. She looked at them, waiting for them to leave their territory.. "Thank you for walking us She-cat's over here, what strong nice Tom's you two are" she joked. She looked to Speckledclaw who was already on the other side of the river, then back to the two Tom's.

Riverwhisker
He watched from behind the big pine tree and rolled his eyes at the Snowclan leader's remarks. He waited for Robinheart to come before Icestar might try something since he was on her territory now.. they had no right to try anything there but, he doubted she would since they didn't do anything hasty when they got onto their territory..

He did not enjoy her attitude but he wouldn't let her know that. They were actually right at their border his front paws only tickled their territory.He nodded and turned to go back to his camp, he wasn't really one for speaking too much. He knew more about being a leader than he let on. He had to protect a patrol when they fell into a sink hole. He protected them and took control until he forum a way out for them. "Let us return to camp and away from these prissy snowclan she-cats," he mumbled to Riverwhisker along with a quiet chuckle.
