Maple felt her heart swell "that sounds perfect" she whispered, and although she tried, the she cat knew she was failing to keep the sleepiness out of her eyes. Maple gave a quick streach and lay down at Drake's side, purring softly.

Maple was to exhausted to open her eyes, but she placed a paw on top of his to signify her gratitude. Maple knew he only purred for her, and that made her feel so loved and cherished. She gave a small yawn, letting Drake's purrs become more and more distant.

Frostflight watched quietly as Sunfang poked her head out of the nursery, a nervous expression on her face. As Sunfang ushered the kits along hurriedly Frostflight padded over, she could see what was happening here. He was so absorbed into making sure Maple was comfortable that he wasn't paying attention to the cat escaping with kits. He kept licking the top of her head and purred weirdly, knowing her paw was on his and he loved it. He loved her and no other cat.. no cat could ever make him feel the way she does to him.

She looked at Frostflight, at first she was ready to blurt out that she wasn't going to stay, no matter what, she wanted a better life for her kits but, kept quiet as Frostflight spoke. She sighed, "thanks Frostflight.. I know what will happen once we leave but, I think its for the best.. they don't deserve this and the longer they stay here, the more I think Drake will most likely get them when im asleep.. I can't bare it and that is why I am going to take them and go.." she said. She moved closer to the cat and rubbed her head to hers, whispering, "take care of yourself.. may Starclan light path even in these darkest days.." she licked the cats head like they were siblings and then moved away. "Stoneclaw left prey in the nursery.. I think you should give it back to him and please don't tell any cat.. if the rogues find out.. I don't want anything to happen to any cat.." she said sadly and then looked at Tigerkit and Pebblekit, "come on you two.." she said, looking once more at Frostflight, "I don't know if we will come back.." she ended before looking around once more and leaving camp with the kits. She knew they could always come back.. their clan probably wouldn't blame her for leaving to give the kits a better life.. she looked at the kits and smiled, "we won't travel too far today"

She smiled at Tigerkit, "yes it would be.. but don't go looking for trouble ok?" She purred at him as he crouched. She led them quite a ways away from camp but they were still in Nightclan territory at the moment. She looked around as she led the way and heard a few mice scurrying in the underbrush. She thought it would be a good idea to get food for her kits.. she could go a few days without food but the kits couldn't.. she crouched, looking at the kits, basically showing they should be quiet and stay there for a few moments. She then focused on the mice and pounced into the bushes, claws unsheathed and surprised to have realised she sunk her claws into two mice.. not just one.. they had gone limp so she picked them up by their tails and went back over to her kits, dropping the nice at their paws. "You two need to eat" she smiled, though she didn't look like she had eaten in a while.. but she never thought about food anyway.. she didn't feel hungry. She just sat down and looked around as she waited for them to eat.

They both padded through the camp, looking at everything that was going on and Riverwhisker sighed, "what happened?.." He said, his blue eyes so sad and then Silverfang touched his tail to Riverwhisker's shoulder, "we can't do anything.. we just have to give the news.." He smiled softly. Stoneclaw woke up seeing that Bumbletail was missing. His heart raced as he got up and ran outside, he blew a sign of relife as he saw her with Shadestep. "I see you sre feeling better Bumbs."He said laying close to the two cats.

Frostflight straitened up at the sight of the cats, her eyes widened and she quickly gave a small, respective bow. Her icy eyes met the toms' she hadn't known either of them well, but she knew they were both respectable cats. "Riverwhisker...Sunfang...And uh...She went that way, s-she left." The she cat babbled, wondering if the starclan cat wanted to see his mate. Frostflight grew silent "Im sorry, you probably didn't need to know that, it must be hard.... What news do you bare?" She finished, her tail twitching with anticipation.

After a while the she cat opened her eyes, again she had been scarred by horrible dreams, mostly of Bloodfang, although she didn't dare say that in front of Drake. There were other cats too though, rouges, once Maple had never met in person, she wondered what happened to them. A sudden thought made Maple sit up, she pulled away from Drake, looking him in the eyes "D-did you have a mate? Like, before me?" She asked, her voice quiet and fragile.

Boulder stretched, getting up, and yawning loudly. Hmmm, SunFang isn't here....So are the kits....She must be outside playing with them Boulder thought, padding out of the nursery. Where is Bumbletail anyways? Boulder blinked rapidly as he saw Bumbletail and Shadestep in a very...Ermm...Mature pose. W-What? B-Bumbletail and Shadestep are... Boulder just stayed there, looking at the two, his left eye wide open.
