Bumbletail looked up seeing Boulder watching them, for a split second she had forgotten that they were in camp and infront of Stoneclaw none the less. "Boulder, you are still wake." She said cheerfully walking up to him, stopped as she remembered Stoneclaw who was already on his paws.

Shadestep, now more awake, nodded to Stoneclaw in greeting as the other approached. He let out an indignant sound of surprise when Bumbletail leaped on him and he shook his neck away from her. Shadestep rolled over onto his back with a breathy laugh and stared up at her. "You didn't reply to what I said earlier about you looking ruffled," he said, his tone slightly teasing.
He pulled himself to his paws when she left for Boulder and watched with interest, eyeing Stoneclaw occasionally.

He had already expected it after piecing together her and Boulder's relationship, scenting them leaving camp, and seeing her ruffled when she returned- but that didn't stop his eyes from shining in excitement. "Congratulations on the kits," he whispered to Bumbletail with a nudge when she padded back over to him. His gaze still watched Stoneclaw and Boulder as he waited for further interactions between them.
