User/number: Darklily #5809/Blackthorn #5838(technically my main, but not really using it right now) Examples: My Booksie|Wattpad|DA(Only really has previews, not whole stories) This short little scene from one of my stories on Booksie(The Assassin; Broken Leashes) is probably one of my favorites: (To explain what happened before, quickly, the two characters are "bounty hunters", and partners. One is human, one is not. The human, Gavin, just found out what Bree is. Felix is Gavin's dog, he's only mentioned being there in the following, but was there the whole time before this moment.) Gavin didn’t know how to react. He simply stood in silence for several moments, then took himself and Felix and went back to the truck where he waited for Bree. After she got in, back in her human form and her clothes, they sat in silence before Gavin started the truck. They drove in silence too. When they reached a small town where they could spend the night, Gavin parked. Right before Bree opened her door, he finally broke the silence between them. “You know, I don’t trust you,” he told her. “Huh?” Bree pondered. “Back there, you said if I trust you,” Gavin continued. “Well I don’t. I trusted that putting my gun down was the best chance of me getting out of there in one piece, dead or alive. If you’re planning on killing me, all I ask is you leave my parents a body to bury.” This human had done something none other before him could. He made Bree laugh, and it wasn’t her usually cruel laugh or insincere one. It was a true laugh. “I think your odds are ever changing, Gavin Taylor,” Bree finally replied with a smile before exiting the truck. “We might just make a good team after all.” Then she was gone, off to find a room to stay in. 0 players like this post!
