There are several threads for green bases around but I shared my bases in the cbox and they seemed to get positive reviews so I present;  Olivine/Oil Slick   Raven (Dark Countershade)  Lichen/Reindeer Moss (Light Countershade/solid) I think the trick to green bases is subtly, try not to think about lime jello lions and more natural and more hinted at the colour green like how ebony have very subtle purples in it. I'll support it because why not?? Give the people green already! I tried my hand at a green base. Honestly, I hate the color green so I will defiantly never purposely own one... but for all you lioden itchin for green... I support you. I might load up ye olde photoshop when I get home and give it a go because I do like your ideas and I'm pretty please we went from hating on Cinnabar to accepting that green MIGHT be viable :) Lichen I tried to keep on the conservative side my monitor has it as a cool mint green similar to this hence the name but it could definitely be brighter. 0 players like this post! Lichen looks like a softer glacial on mine... Hey! That would be a good name instead of lichen, Mint! I'm going to play around with some greens and pop them in this thread so that you can add them if you want Eh well the more I think about it, the more I realise some of my lions would probably look good with it. But cinnabar and glacial are pushing it too far lol EDIT: That's a bit too dark for Jasper. It could be Malachite or Serpentine though 0 players like this post! Ohhh, Malachite is a better name. I was thinking of something that would look good with the Jasper eyes when I made it, but Malachite is a better match for the colors. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Just because jasper stones aren't always green (they're more commonly yellow), whereas malachite only comes in rich green 0 players like this post! Like? |

I've seen a green nose going around to. if they came out together that'd be pretty cool, as people mentioned before neither "are really realistic" but i think that the only really realistic colours are the goldens and creams, if lioden was a game of realistic lions it would have stopped at cream & golden groups.. instead of having blacks & red groups, and noses are really realistic either, i mean they've added purple eye, in a way of contacts, but they still did it. the Green/Oil Slick one could be added for an October thing, or even the Raven Idea. the Lichen one I could see being added for maybe april, cause its like an easter-ish green. 0 players like this post! I played around with a few green tinted/hued bases and got these? Olive is my favourite Spinifex  Lichen  Olive  EDIT: I didn't realise the Lichen and Spinifex bases looked so similar, they didn't look like that on my desktop monitor... :T 0 players like this post!
