There are several threads for green bases around but I shared my bases in the cbox and they seemed to get positive reviews so I present; Olivine/Oil Slick Raven (Dark Countershade) Lichen/Reindeer Moss (Light Countershade/solid) I think the trick to green bases is subtly, try not to think about lime jello lions and more natural and more hinted at the colour green like how ebony have very subtle purples in it. I love how these are still sort of golden in hue. Still very lionish but with obvious green tones. Also I love your enthusiasm Brighty, you were reluctant at first but now youre designing them! <3 0 players like this post! Like? |

I really love this idea, and the olive Brighty suggested looks amazing and not too stunning and bright! I also love the idea just as irony, as I've seen a bright green cub running through explore before and when you try to keep it a message shows up telling you green lions don't exist XD I love the idea of having very light/pale lions or even very dark lions with subtle green tones around lioden and I'd certainly have a few. Green is a very finicky color though, especially on something like a lion where you imagine them being golden and red and even grey more easily than green. I'll see if I can mess around on firealpaca for a bit in a few days and see if I can help 0 players like this post! Like? |

Thank you Monster. I figured it'd gotten to the point where I need to introduce some of my green base ideas on the prettier lioness poses with some marking examples as people are outright rejecting the idea without thinking about what a marked lion would look like. My stance on green is SUBTLE. Golden greens and very dark black tinted with green and very pale white with green. As much as I adore BRIGHT green, the idea is in its infant stages still as far as impressing the majority of lioden. So once the subtle greens have their paws in the door then lioden might be open to more drastic greens, like how celestial was introduced and then suddenly we have glacial??? Thanks for your opinions :) 0 players like this post! Like? |

I love Olive, I think it turned out the best. I still have the files if you want to play around in wardrobe Fable No green is not realistic. But neither is goddamn cinnabar or glacial. Or henna or onyx or 90% of the bases tbh. I was only against it because I assumed you meant GREEN green, not subtle tinting green 0 players like this post! Like? |

The green medium solid is beautiful. Its green but its not, if that makes sense? And the Raven looks absolutely beautiful! I think Mint is a good call on the first one, if it had a bit more grey it could be Limestone? And maybe viridescent for the second one? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Thank you Brighty! I'll be posting these three new ones in a separate thread to see what new responses I can get for them. I really appreciate your feedback. 0 players like this post! Like? |
