The idea of Warriors (c) Erin Hunter + Printing Company. )) _____________ In the center of New York city, a clan of feral cats converged into Central Park. They were strays, kittypets, shelterpets, and those that traveled from neighboring areas. Over time, the pack soon found they couldn't all live as a single group, it caused too much unneeded conflict and hardship. So they divided themselves based upon the areas that fit them the best. As they divided themselves, generations passed before they received a visitor who spoke of clans that lived in the forest, and a tribe in the mountains. This was a surprise to the local clans, but they took it in stride. The stranger had been a previous clan cat, but had wound up captured and treated as a kittypet; their twolegs then traveled to the city, and the feline finally found her escape route. Her ancestors, Starclan, had found her and asked her to help these run-off clans. Deciding to learn from this clan cat, she helped the city clans form a bond with Starclan; even in their city, where they could barely find Starpelt on the darkest and clearest of nights. Starclan in return taught them the Warrior Code, and what it meant to be of the clans. The first leaders, the original 4 stars, were given named relating to their clans and now reside with Starclan. It is said that even on the darkest of nights, those with a special destiny or tie to Starclan can spot the 4 brightest stars in their sky; the 4 original leaders Northstar, Eaststar, Southstar, and Weststar watching over the clans they bore and nurtured. _____________ The clan cat arranged their clans, naming them for the directions that were used to navigate and as they had named the stars themselves. And so, when they finally decided upon a Gathering Place and their territories, their beloved clan cat from the far lands disappeared. She is a ghost in their beloved park, a legend. She lived for many decades while with the clans, and none knew how old she truly was. But it's said on the blackest of nights, she appears. Stories tell she is beautiful, a foggy night personified into a feline of utmost grace. They also say she appears in times of great need, or danger, be it to give a warning, a prophecy, or advice to those in most need of it. _____________ Rules: - Do no create your own prophecies, omens, or warnings for the clans; they must be discussed with me and allow the storyline to move forward. Disobeying this rule is an immediate kick, as it has caused me too much trouble in the past. - All high ranks (Leaders, Deputies, and Medicine Cats) will receive questions befitting their ranks in PM. The roles are NOT first-come-first-serve - This is a literate Rp, and your characters must be fleshed out as such; while beginners are more than welcome, there is a minimum of 3 sentences per post. - No god-modding, mary/gary-sues, or taking over someone's character and their actions. - No insta-kills; or allowing all fighting moves to hit/dodge them all - I shall control the seasons, and the prey at the time. - Until we are more active and have a set few who Rp on schedule, there are only 3 characters allowed per person. They can be of different clans. (Side accounts are banned, use of them for characters will cause an automatic kick. If you switch between, please alert us!) - Obey Lioden rules. Put Pathwalking Prophecies in the the other section if you've read this. - If you have a problem with another member/rper, consult me. Name- Sorrelfrost Gender- Deputy Age- 36 moons (3 years) Clan- EastClan Rank- Medicine Cat Sexual Orientation- Straight Appearance- Sleek black she-cat with Green eyes. She is mostly a Moggie breed cat. When she was a kit, she had and accident and now has a scar down her left side. (Link to appearance-) http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m7np1veu041qargfho1_1280.jpg Personality- Sorrelfrost is well known for her sharp tounge and can get snappy even to elders if she's annoyed long enough. But even in the toughest situations she seems to find a bizzar but working way out of it. (Currently looking for a mate) Kin- mother is Timberleaf (dark tabby she-cat with blue eyes Father is unknown Sister WAS Shimmerkit (silver she-cat who died from badger) History- Sorrelfrost was born to Timberleaf along with her sister Shimmerkit. Sadly, when the sisters were very young two badgers broke into the camp, Shimmerkit died from blood loss at 3 moons and the long scar down Sorrelfrost's side is from the same badger. Later in life, Timberleaf was crippled from a rock fall, but she still enjoys her life with the kits and queens in the nursery. Sorrelfrost was now a warrior and carried on with life, she is currently looking for a mate. Name: Reddusk Gender: Male Age: 32 moons Clan: Westclan (Northclan) Rank: Deputy Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual Appearance: Reddusk is a grey and black tabby, though there's sure to be a whole mix of breeds in his pedigree. He's fairly well proportioned for a tom-cat his age, with striking mint eyes. His tail is docked from his brief time with twolegs. He has a few scars marring his pelt, the biggest one spanning the length of his right flank. Personality: A quiet cat in nature, he prefers to listen and observe others that talk. It helps him get an idea of who he's dealing with. Analyzing cats is his thing, and while he is fully capable of leading, he leaves it to Ashenstar. When he does take the lead on something, he's to the point and curt. He values loyalty above all other things. He is forgiving in most situations, though he may give the cat at fault a hard time. If trust is broken, or a betrayal of some kind is committed, however, that he cannot forgive. He doesn't really know how to act around other cats if not professionally. He doesn't really do "small talk", and spends most of his time training or going over plans in his head. He has a healthy respect for twolegs, in that he'll do what he can to stay away from them unless necessary. His one soft spot would be kits. While he won't know how to react if kits started climbing all over him and badgering him, he wouldn't make a move to stop their fun. Kin: Russetclaw - Father (deceased) Mimi - Mother Amber - Sister Rain - Brother History: Born in an alley, Red was the first of his siblings to walk, venture out, get chased back home with his tail between his legs. His mother would regularly leave the three kits to go see their father in secret, in which time the kits would get into a whole mess of trouble. Red didn't know his father very many moons, but he knew he'd been a brave warrior who was struck down by another cat. After his father's death, his mother wanted to go live with twolegs and be a kittypet. Red wanted to be like his father, so he set off on his own to join his clan. It was difficult, seeing as he wasn't clanborn and he wasn't used to clan life, but he soon settled in and set his mind on being the best he could be. Some time after becoming a warrior, he was out on patrol when a twoleg caught him and brought him to a shelter. The twoleg adopted him, and took him to the vet to get all kinds of exams and shots. The worse thing they did to him was dock his tail, and he escaped the night he was brought back to the twoleg's home. He nearly strangled himself taking his collar off, and he made sure to rub himself through all kinds of mud and dirt to get the kittypet stench off of him. He returned to the clan a changed cat. He was quiet and watched everyone carefully. He made sure he was an excellent mentor, however, to all his apprentices. @Lizz - You're form is a bit confusing. You need to have one name per age. You have 4 in total? Not only that but you seem to be using Rainflower and Stormkit's descriptions from the original Warrior books; we don't accept canon characters in any form. @Crimsonnose - Your cat's gender is listed as Deputy, and you might need to act a few more details. Fur is long and flowing, with faint tabby markings. Personality: Smokepaw is a quiet and reserved cat. He prefers not to speak much, but he is by no means shy. He doesn't particularly enjoy the company of other cats, but is a natural leader. Though he can seem strict and cold, he has the interests of other cats at heart. Kin: Shadepaw (Brother, deceased.) Parents are deceased unless anyone wants to play them. They were called Redfoot (father) and Elmtail (mother.) History: Smokepaw was born into the clan. His parents named him Smokepaw for his grey fur, and his brother, Shadepaw, looked similar to him and was also given a name for his dark fur. @Serelin - I fixed the names, I was just trying to show his progression of names, and I wasn't trying to copy their descriptions, I knew she was dark gray but I guess I didn't realize it, I use a naming system that relies mostly on pelt colors and skills, that's just how they come out, rain is for dark gray or light gray cat with or without tabby markings and blue eyes is the most prevalent for that coat coloration. Flower means she's either very good at healing or she's very nurturing. Which I just realized she is neither, so that's my fault, I apologize. Now is that everything that needed to be changed or have I forgotten something? 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Lizz - That's alright, it just matched their appearances as well as names. Littlepaw is accepted, but her backstory doesn't make too much sense. A Medicine Cat wouldn't rename a kit, and even then it doesn't sound too plausible. You can keep it, but it just doesn't really make sense. @Kudos - Reddusk is now the Northclan Deputy!
