Have you had enough of living on the streets in boxes or run-down houses? Now is your chance. A pack of dogs have up and left the city, leaving it behind. Their minds are set on finding someplace new to live and spend the rest of their lives. A home where they can live in grassy meadows. A home where there is always food and water. It will take time to make it to the new place, danger is lurking. Will you join the pack or stay behind?

Sky could feel the wind tugging on her fur, as her eyes slowly opened. She let a yawn escape her mouth and stood up before shaking our her heavy coat of black and white fur. Sky could hardly hear the sounds of the cities from where she was in the meadow, and she was glad. Sky no longer wanted to live in the vast, city. She could make it out here, couldn't she? Sky turned her head to look at the woods in front of her before trotting in that direction, having no idea what awaited her.

"you damn dirty creature!!" shouted a human as he threw rocks and anything he could find within reach. "go on!! get!!" the man added as he managed to get a muffled yelp out of Enepay. he'd been hit on his side and almost dropped the mouthful of scraps from the restaurant garbage. Quickly, the hairless dog managed to get the hell out of there.
Panting an aching from the beating, enepay settled down to an unfamiliar area of the city. Infact, it wasn't a city at all!! it was deep in the nearby forest. looking around, he sniffed. he must've been so busy trying to escape that he didn't even pay attention to where he was going! Enepay anxiously swollowed and looked around one last time before leaning down and scarfing down his rewarding meal. after a few seconds, he heard the sound of soft trotting and looked around again, ears perked and his eyes searched for the other.

Afua
She glanced around, looking for more humans. Finding none, Afua nudged her brother, Hyrite, and murmured, "Let's get out of here. Mum and Da are gone, and we must find more dogs!" Plus, the stinky garbage can in this stinky city was driving her nuts! Trotting away, Hyrite following, Afua came to a park. She could scent dogs. Pausing and looking down, Afua saw dog tracks! Wagging her tail excitedly, she howled with joy. "What is it?" Hyrite sniffed worriedly. "Dogs, Hyrite, dogs!" Afua barked.

Hyrite
He sniffed one more time, then spoke. "Are you sure we should follow them, Afua?" But when he turned his head, Afua was already deep in the woods. Sighing, Hyrite ran after her.
Catching up, he heard Afua growling. "Who are you, and what are you doing? Do you know of any other dogs?" She was confronting a strange, hairless dog and a beautiful female Husky!

Rain
Hearing growling from under his log in the forest, Rain leaped up and over it and was face to face with a male brown and black dog! (Hyrite) He barked to calm things down. "Now what is going on here?!"

Enepay flinched as he suddenly was surrounded by dogs. where had they all come from?! all he wanted was to be alone to eat his food. were they out to get him? he'd gotten into some trouble with a leader of a city pack not too long ago..maybe they were here for payback? damn.
"h-hey y'all let's just chillax okay?! uh, look if you let me off the hook you'd really be doin me a solid!" the xolo gave them a nervous toothy grin, his lightly furred tail twitching side to side. he wasn't submissive but he wasn't showing aggression either.

Afua
Relaxing slightly, Afua sat down and licked her paw, suddenly embarrassed. "Uh, I'm sorry I snapped at you. My brother and I am just lonely, and we are looking for a pack. Have you seen one? But not one back in the city, no! Also, who are you? I am Afua, and my brother is Hyrite."

Hyrite
He stumbled backward, and yelped, "I'm sorry! What did I do? Please don't hurt me!"

Rain
"It's okay, I was just startled. Please calm down. My name is Rain, and Afua over there said your name was Hyrite. I am not a threat." Rain barked reassuringly. Hyrite stepped forward, calming down. "Oh, and I am Rain." Rain directed that at Afua.

the lean grey dog looked at the 3 dogs curiously. everything was happening so fast. he cleared his throat, signaling he had something to say before continuing:
"er...i don't know of any packs that aren't in the city. sorry." he responded solemnly. Now he felt awkward; maybe he should introduce himself. it's not like he had anywhere to go or visit anyone he knew, after all he is lost, "My name is Enepay but you can call me Ene or whatever you want honestly..." explained the xolo with a smile before suddenly lowering his ears seemingly annoyed "and beforeyou ask! no i don't have mange i was born without hair!"

Afua
She laughed. "Well hello Enepay and Rain! And no offense, but you look quite funny, Enepay! Like I said before, we are Afua and Hyrite. Maybe we could stick together, have a litte group until we find a pack, huh? What'd ya say?"

Hyrite
"Hello Rain!"

Rain
"Hello!" he said cheerfully. Turning to Afua, he said, "I'll join the group. But, who are you?!" Rain added, asking the Husky. (Sky)

Afua
"What, hang on! Enepay, Rain, an awesome idea just hit me! Let's stat a Pack, then look for more members, including an Alpha male. I will be Alpha female, and Hyrite will be a hunter. Okay?"

Hyrite
"Sure, fine Afua."

Rain
"I'm still okay with it! I'll be a hunter, if that is okay."

Enepay wasn't so sure. how could he know if he could trust dogs he barely met?! he looked around at all of them again, they seem to be pretty laid back and accepting.
"well...i guess i'll go ahead and team up with you all.." he said wearily before shaking his nonexistent pelt
"just don't choose me as an alpha. it's too much work for me man!"

Khan padded down the alleyway. His brown eyes scanning the area around him. He had caught a scent of dogs near by and could hear them. He huffed and still continued towards them. He hated dogs and didn't like to be around them, or them be in his territory. He knew that he didn't own the city, but he knew where he lived and wasn't about to give it up. As he approached the dogs he noticed they were talking about a pack. 'What is a pack going to help in the city?' He thought to himself. "Who are you?" He barked to them all.

Hazel always felt the need to be prepared in case anything happened. So she gathered and organized herbs everyday. She was indeed a healer and would help anyone that needed help. It was odd to see a muscular dog as a healer instead of fighting. Even she thought about that, but she loved what she does and wouldn't change anything. A bark was heard not to far off, making the Beauceron raise her head and perk her pointed ears. 'Maybe someone needs help!' She had found a bag that a human had dropped and took it as her own. She gathered all her herbs and put them in the bag and slung it over her head, a much easier way to carry it. And ran to the dogs. A group of dogs were gathered, none seemed hurt. But it wouldn't hurt to check. "Is everyone okay? What's going on?"

Olive was laying down in her large box and half of her was still hanging out of it. Voices were heard and they were waking her up. She growled and slid out of her box. As she stood up she stretched her long legs and began to walk towards the group of dogs. She was mad. Once she approached them her hackles were raised up. "Why are you guys talking so damn loud! And what is this? A meeting?" She growled. Her eyes were narrowed and her ears were flat against her big black head.

Sid started to hear barking and growling. He stood up from eating his meal and shook his pelt before licking his chops and trotting towards the noises. He hated fights and was always running around trying to stop them. And most of the times he did. His long pelt shone as he approached the dogs. "What's going on here?" He asked, starting to get confused. There has never been a pack of stray dogs running around in the streets and seeing a large group like this made him confused. Has there been a pack and have I just not noticed it?'

Afua
"Don't worry, we won't! Anyway, Enepay, what do you want to be? A Protector, or a Hunter? Also, should we stay around the city for much longer? I don't really want to, but I won't force you all to come. There might be packs in the city, and it doesn't look like there is much prey here. I bet there is a valley full of prey and grass somewhere, and we might be able to find it!"

Hyrite
"Of course I'm coming, as long as you will keep me safe, which you of course will!"

Rain
"I'm not sure... I guess if Enepay agrees I will go."

enepay noticed even more dogs coming, what was going on?! did he miss something?! when he noticed them, notabley a dog with a human carry thing around their neck and one with hackles raised, he became nervous. he shoved his ears forward and began to bare his teeth, making sure they knew he wasn't afraid to defend himself.
"our meeting is non of your concern!" he addressed to them "unless you have something important to contribute i suggest you move along!" he added.

Below a cloudless blue sky, cars raced against the human hubbub of life. Children were pulled back from intersections by worried parents, and businessmen hurried across streets like schools of suited-up fish, heading to work for the start of the day. A small little shadow pitter-pattered between them in order to follow the children. and when it looked up, it had a crinkled, pudgy face.

"Emily? Emily?! Where are you? Are you here? Are you there? Are you anywhere?" Meiling barked, startling several humans into murmuring with their grating noises. She soon yelped as well, for one such human nearly tripped over her, and he stumbled, careening away with loud curses. With a whimper, she ran away, her ears flattened as much as possible against her head. She ran until the people, buildings, cars, and sky all blurred together, running until she toppled over breathlessly in front of a park entrance.

There she paused, and began to lick her sore paws with nearly religious fervor. Scratched by gravel and asphalt, they were nothing short of filthy to her, and that needed to be fixed. Unfortunately, Meiling was finding it harder and harder to stay clean in a dirty city, and that only made her want to find her human all the more. Below her need to be tidy, there was also the worrying throb of hunger. How long had it been? Two days? Three? Four? Only the box managed to stick in her memory, the horrid brown thing that had replaced her pillow, which had replaced her place besides the greatest human in the world.

Reaching a compromise with her fur, Meiling got up and padded inside, her feet immediately relieved by the relative softness of grass. So relieved, in fact, that she rolled around in it. She froze, however, when she heard the distant voices of other dogs. Dogs could mean trouble and bad things, but they also could have seen Emily. She decided to play it safe and so sneaked towards the copse of trees they were by, wiggling underneath a bush (ugh, the dirt) so that she could try to hear what they were saying more clearly.

Meiling had hoped that no other dogs would appear, but those hopes were nearly instantly dashed when she heard other feet and dog voices approaching. Was it some sort of crazy meeting, or what?!

GHOST

The large canine rolled over onto the soft of his stomach, the small; pointed ears on top of his thick skull perked from the sound of voices nearby. Uneasy, he curled his tail closer to his hind legs and inched his large physique closer into the shadows of the bus bench. He peered from under the thick slabs of wood and dark metal to look around, and after he saw nothing out of order Ghost sniffed, allowing many scents to wash over his glabds. One of those scents included dog. Many of them. His long, textured tongue swabbed at his lips nervously; but confusion got the better of him as he slinked from under his make-shift home. The asphalt was a little moist from light rainfall, but he ignored the odd, wet feeling under his pads that was surely irritating combined with the harsh texture of the ground as he followed his nose to the source of the smell.
A small cluster of dogs could be seen in the distance, but knowing his sense of sight wasn't as good as his sense of smell, Ghost continued to inhale in deep breaths, leaving his nose to work the air. He padded close, then paused to survey the group with narrowed eyes; his brow muscles were frowning as he gazed intently, the irises surrounding his pupil taking on a look of black as he observed from afar.

JOSIE

Twigs caught in Josie's thick fur, and she curled her upper lip in irritation as she pivoted her body slightly; grasping the annoying thing between her teeth and spitting it out. The underbrush stroked her pelt as she moved along, not going anywhere in particular and not exactly caring where she would wind up. Her vest was barely hanging on to her lean physique, the clasps undone from events of many days' travel. She rolled her broad shoulders, her thick tail swishing the long meadow grass once as she inhaled the scents of a nearby city.  A city, huh? She thought with a twitch of an ear. She knew very well what kind of scenarios could happen if she went into a city, it could either go really could or really bad and all Josie had to do was think of what kind of gamble she was getting herself into to determine her fate. She invited bad luck like ambrosia for the plague and she shook her head at the thought of possibly going through it. Best stick to the forest for now.

Afua
"Woah woah, every dog calm down RIGHT NOW! First of all, yes, this is a pack and we will be traveling to new grounds. Second, I am Alpha female and I have someone in mind for Alpha male. Third, if you want to join, please tell me and tell me your name. Fourth, is every dog listening?! And Enepay, I respect you, but if they wan to join, well, we could use some extra paws!"

Hyrite
He was overwhelmed by the chaos. When Afua stated barking out commands, he crawled into Rain's old home, a log, and waited for everything to calm down.

Rain
He jumped up behind a dog who seemed nice enough, the female dog who said her name was Hazel. "Well, Hazel," Rain murmured, "Will you help me calm everything down? Just go from dog to dog and say something like, 'Please calm down! Afua is giving instructions!'"
