"Huh? A pack? Is that a dog gang?!"

Meiling wasn't too familiar with dog politics, or even dogs in general. Her owner didn't make her go out much after all, and she didn't like how the outside tended to stick to her body and make her dirty. It was all rather uncomfortable.

Edging ever closer, Meiling's nose twitched, taking in the general anxiety of the group of dogs. It didn't seem like there was much order amongst them... that wasn't a good sign, right? As she considered what she ought to do, her excitedly working nose accidentally jabbed itself into a twig. Meiling stumbled back, but it was too late-- she sneezed, rustling the bush rather conspicuously.

"Oh no, this is bad; this is really bad!" her mind told her as it raced fearfully. She could only imagine too well the dogs getting angry at her and tearing her into little bits. Muffling a squeak, Meiling covered her eyes with her paws as her body began to tremble, wishing, wishing that she wouldn't get noticed.

Lucifer / Female / 4 / Wolf x GSD
Everyone around the 'pack'
A multi-toned wolf hybrid lay in the shadows of a dead bush, her coat blending in perfectly with her surroundings as long as she didn't move, all the white on her legs, covered by the browns and blacks of her stomach hair. Lucifer regretted the day she left behind those pups of hers but she couldn't help it, she had to get away! Her liquid amber eyes portrayed her pain, but her expression dared someone to comment on it. Finally, once all the commotion settled she seemed to materialize from thin air behind the self proclaimed 'alpha female', "Whats this I hear about a pack?" Her voice was strangely deep, thickened by multiple, though not at the same time, wounds around her throat.

A forest toned male wandered through the alley ways, his startling icy blue eyes seemingly to pierce into the souls of those around him, "Get out of here you filthy mutt!" A disgusting human launched to kick the Shepsky but the leg never connected with his side, instead his teeth latched onto the man's leg. Daemon's eyes widened at his actions, quickly dropping the limb and dashing off before the humans around him launched an attack. The young male didn't stop until he was far from the accident area and dipping his muzzle in a new puddle from the recent rain to wash away the metallic taste and blood from his body.

Khan//Male//Mentions: 'the pack'
The black dogs ears raised at the mention of a pack. "Would this pack just stay here in the city? If so whats the point of starting one?" His deep voice called out. He sat down and glanced around at all the dogs that had gathered in the little time since he got there. "Who is this Alpha Male? Is he here?" He asked. He wanted to know because if they were staying here in the city to start a pack there was almost no need for another leader for the pack. But if the pack was moving then it would be a big help for an alpha male to help.

Hazel//Female//Mentions: Rain and Meiling
Hazel turned to the dog that had spoken to her. "Uh, yes... I could." She said. She turned and looked around at the dogs that all wanted a turn to talk. They did need to calm down. 'Too bad I couldn't use any of my herbs. But that would be a waste and its not needed.' She slowly walked around to every dog that was trying to talk and calmly quieted them down. She spotted another small dog, a pug. "Hey, I'm Hazel, you are?"

Olive//Female//Mentions: 'The pack'
Olive sat down and grumbled to herself. It wouldn't be bad to join this pack if they are leaving the city. She couldn't stand being here anymore. "I'll join, as long as we leave the city. If you have ranks I will be a protector." She said calmly. She watched and noticed the dogs that had shown up. There was a lot of strays that she had never noticed before.

Sid//Male//Mentions: 'the pack
Sid wagged his tail. "I would love to join a pack! He said stepping forwards. "I would gladly be a hunter if you need one." He smiled and sat down. "I'm Sid." He said flicking his ears and letting his tongue roll out his mouth and hand limply to the side of it. His tail was slightly wagging. He was happy and felt happier to be around other dogs that might be getting out of the city.

GHOST

Catching the mentioning of a pack, Ghost padded even closer to the group of canids; close enough to pick up all of the scents and have them invade his senses as unfamiliar. He was always very careful about meeting with other dogs, but as of now he boldly chose to let his presence be known. "I'd like to join as well." He announced, his tail wagged once. Twice. The littlest gestures to show his excitement even though his facial expression remained one of polite inquiry. He'd once been apart of a pack on puphood. It was a small one, just him, his mother and relatives. They'd hunt on the wide open landscape in Argentina before he was sold; the humans would aid in taking down many species of game. The sense of belonging had filled him back then, he wouldn't mind feeling that again.

When a big, scary dog noticed her and started coming closer, Meiling felt the jaws of panic clutch her heart as she peered through the gaps of her paws at it. It then took her completely by surprise when said large, frightening dog introduced herself and revealed that she had a rather gentle-sounding name.

"Um, umm...," she stammered, her tail wagging uncertainly, "I-I'm Mei--Meiling! Have you seen my human? My human is a girl, and her name is Emily! Eeee-meee-reee..." Despite having been with humans her whole life, it was still too difficult for Meiling to pronounce anything remotely close to the human language, but she tried to do so anyway just in case the dog had overheard it. She still fidgeted in embarrassment after she did so, though.

"Sorry, I'm sorry. I need to find my human, but I might need help, that's all. The bigger humans living with her put me in a box and then they misplaced me! But I think I'm in the wrong place... I don't know anything about 'packs' or anything," she whined, her topics changing unpredictably to match her jumpiness. "I suppose it's n-nice to meet you? You have a pretty name!" Meiling finished her thought train and then tried to smile so that she looked friendlier. It would be a terrible thing if any of the dogs thought she was aggressive or threatening after all, not like she thought she would be. Amusingly, however, she forgot that her expression tended to look sad no matter what she did. That's just how pugs are.

with a weary look still in his eyes, Enepay sat down and watched the gathering of dogs all shape and sizes. "i'll be a hunter i guess, just don't expect me to track down a moose or anythin'" he joked. maybe this wasn't such a bad idea after all. there seemed to be many big scary looking dogs and good looking hunters. a thought soon crept into his mind...they're all going to be his family from now on. he wasn't sure if he was comfortable with this sudden change. just earlier today he was running the streets free from commitment and rules. he wasn't sure how he would handle this.
"i think we should leave the city. we can set up a temporary base around here while a small pack of us go in search for some suitable territory" the hairless chimed in softly but loudly.
he felt the grass tickling his bare body causing him to scratch the back of his ear. he suddenly became aware of the fact that he was the odd one here. his naked body contrasted against the sea of fur. he quickly straightened up and cleared his throat.

Afua
"Yes, we are looking for an Alpha male and we are leaving the city! I am Afua, and this hairless is Enepay, the Husky mix is Rain, and my brother Hyrite is behind that log. Enepay, good idea! Let's do that! Thank you to everyone who wanted to join! If you are still worried, well, don't be worried! We are all just trying to survive, and we are all one big family. If an enemy attacks, all the protectors will fight back! If a hunter goes hunting, all the hunters will go with it! We are a family of dogs!"
Turnng to the dog who had appeared behind her, she said, "I am the Alpha female. I'm sorry if I seem bossy at times, but I will just try to keep everyone safe! This is a Pack, and you would be welcome to join it! We will go and try to find a new, prey-plentiful place to live."

Hyrite
He suck his head u above the log. "I-I'm Hyrite, Afua's sister," he said. "I am joining the Pack, and we will find a new, prey-plentiful place!"

Rain
Padding up to a big, black dog named Khan, he murmured, "I think Afua has her eye on you for Alpha male. She's looking at you all the time!"

Sky

The husky's ears perked, as she heard rumblings, little whispers. Who was there? Who was it? Other dogs? Could she be so lucky? Sky presses her nose against the ground, sniffing along it to find any traces of a dog. And when she caught a scent, she let out a small howl before racing in that direction. Maybe she could finally have what she had always wanted. A family, to be cared for. Abruptly, Sky ran into another dog. She fell on her butt before looking at the dog. Her coat was splattered with spots. She looked like an Australian Shepard collie mix, but her face was anything but friendly, as she got up. The other dog was snarling at her. Sky took a step back, looking at the other female dog. Before any words could be spoken the stranger lunged at her.

Winter

Winter shook out her fur, as she stood up from where she had slept the previous night. She stretches, happy to be where she were, happy to be away from that awful house and those awful beings. Winter hated thinking about the past, about what they had done to her. Abruptly, something slammed into Winter causing her to stumble but not fall. She turned on her heel, snarling at the unknown dog. Was this dog an enemy? She wasn't taking chances. Winter lunged at the dog, getting the scruff of her neck between her teeth.

Aristotle

Aristotle paws were light and airy, as he continued trotting down the grassy path, his head turning left and right, his ears perked, as he tried to pick up on any slight chance of food. He was starving not having eaten since yesterday morning in which then he only feasted on a small bunny. His feet stopped when he caught sight of a pond about a mile away, and in the pond little yellow ducks. The hunt was on.

Hyrite
He perked his pure-wolf ears, and heard a sound. A low snarling. Stepping away from the mass of dogs, he crept toward the sound. When Hyrite got closer, he saw a flash of Husky fur and some teeth. He hid in a bush, waiting out the fight.

Maybe Aristotle and Lucifer could become friends or mates or something? They are both the same breed after all x3 Though it may take away for him to get close..)

Daemon
The young male had wandered into the park, snarling and growling caught his attention. "Hey!" He barked out loudly, slamming forwards with a vengeance. He wouldn't allow dogs to fight anymore! He came across a sight, a aussie mix attacking a husky? Weird... Without wasting time, Daemon snapped forwards and lunged between the females, his teeth locking around the muzzle of the aussie mix as he reared up and away from the husky. Attempting to rip the husky free and give her time to run, the battle scarred male bristled, his fighting and wild instincts kicking in. The forest toned male let a loud growl rip through his chest, icy eyes staring down his new opponent, body stiff and signalling he knew what he was doing. Not afraid to hurt the female before him.

Lucifer
She snorted slightly at the 'alpha female' her eyes glancing over the crowd, They just met and she's already choosing a alpha male. "Um.. Alpha.... Can I talk to you? Her voice was detached slightly, none of these males seemed like alpha material, heck she didn't either, maybe with a bit of help whoever they were would be fine leaders. Luce, without waiting for a reply, disappeared back into the foliage, and popped up in a secluded clearing surrounding by brush, sitting and awaiting for the female.

"Sure, of course." She padded back into a clearing. "Well?"

Stumbling out of the bush, he barked, "Hello. Well, I was kiindaa watching the fight. Please don't hurt me. But... what was going on?"

Enepay just tried to figure out what was going on honestly. he haven't a clue what happened and all he knows is that he's stuck with this rag tag group of canines. his luck right? in the distance, he can hear a fight going on. another one? god was fighting all these dogs knew? the hairless watched as Lucifer called the...alpha..into the bushes. we're they discussing the future of this pack?
"i think for now we should stay here incase any other city dogs want to join us. but we should leave first sight of dawn" he suggested out loud hoping someone heard and can share their input. Enepay began to feel restless and started pacing. he felt like he should be doing something. he then stopped as he had a brilliant idea.
"i'm going to try to hunt if anyone wants to join me.." said the dark skinned dog, his hazel eyes scanning each dog for signs of interest to what he just said. they should all eat before the journey ahead of them.

Lucifer
She plopped on her haunches and looked at Aufa, "I want to know your choice for my alpha male. If I'm to join I want to know who... I'm not trying to be rude just straight forward. How long have you known this... Male for? If you just met him, I beg of you don't announce it yet. Get to know ALL the males first!" Her voice was stern at the slightly younger dog, they may be of the same breed but Luce had that experience that no other dog should ever have. "Heck, do you even know how to fight properly? No disrespect meant but I was a fighter my whole life, I'm kind of blunt with things."
