ahh thanks! and yeah it's okay i just really am not confident in my quadrupedal drawing skills so if anything i'd just be stressing over it

Isn't that the point? If you're not confident in drawing animals, it's even more important to draw them more often. Having weaknesses only means that you aren't ready to do that kind of work for a paying client with expectations, not that you should never touch them. Otherwise, how will you learn? All tetrapods follow pretty much the same body plan. Understanding how to draw animals, especially will improve your understanding of human motion and expression without relying on crutches like giant cartoony eyebrows.

(Unless you want to exclusively focus on plants and arranged objects; then any kind of figure drawing isn't as useful.)

You don't necessarily have to stress over it either. I fully admit to half-assing the last challenge and also not thoroughly reading the instructions to construct a creature, but that's okay. The most important thing is to keep your pencil moving.

i know that's the case but i'm easy to start comparing my own art to others and i'd rather not do that and get even more discouraged
in private, yes, i can do that, but i can't put it up so imo doing the challenge would only do more to discourage me and make me not want to try haha

Hi everyone! Sorry for not being able to post here, I had (and still have) a lot of real-life things that cannot wait and almost no time. I'm afraid it won't change anytime soon and I don't think it's possible to take care of the clan in this situation. That being said, I have to close the clan as I'm unable to keep it going. Sorry for all of you that hoped it will turn into something special and got involved. :(
