"Well, where's the fun in that? The intense agony of your flesh burning and your organs boiling is something everyone should totally experience." Elliot replied with a chuckle. "So the screaming thing, is there anything like that in heaven? Just, singing or something less torturous-y?" He asked, out of curiosity. He also didn't seem to mind acting as the human shield much, here.

"Angels aren't that stereotype" said Willow through laughter,
"it's basically just a large island that looks like a cloud to mortals." Willow sighed
"As much as I hate to admit it, it's beautiful. Very grand, lots of towering birch trees. Large open halls, gold plated doors, shiny white quartz flooring. A lot of marbel. And silk, the place is beautiful, it's just the people that are repulsive." She stated as she jumped over a crater. "I mean, sometimes we sing...I guess." Again, it's repulsive"

Elliot nodded slowly as she spoke. Of course, he couldn't really picture such a place, he was used to hell's awful environment, and then the human world, which was at least better than hell, but probably was nothing in terms of beauty, at least most of it, compared to heaven. "So, the opposite of hell, pretty much?" He said. "Most demons are pretty mean, but some are pretty cool. We usually accept anyone who's got even a bit of demon in them, too. Halflings, or whatever they may be." He added, rather quietly. Most of them did hate humans and angels, though, mostly because they did live better than most demons.

"Exactly the opposite of hell" Willow confirmed, turning her nose up at a shifty looking cave with smoke pouring out of it. "Do you have any family?" She asked, she had been hesitant to ask him before, as she wasn't sure if demons even had family or if they just sprung from boiling geysers. Although that was properly unlikely.

Elliot grinned slightly and her first response, and shrugged at her next one. "More or less. All of us are related in some way, technically, but we don't care much about family, and we almost never reproduce, since we're immortal." He said. "Mostly just like, friends you're so close to that you consider family, if anything." Elliot shrugged once more. Sure, he technically had parents, but he wasn't close to them, and barely cared about them. It's just how things were, for them.

"Oh" said Willow, as that was all she could think of at the time, she stumbled along obediently. Squinting through the hazy fog. "Well are you...Close to any demons down here?" She asked "Perhaps they could help us, with some water, or shelter?" Willow was tired after all this walking, but she didn't want to out Elliot through the stress of opening another portal to soon.

Elliot thought for a moment, then shook his head slightly. "No, not really. A lot of demons kinda hate me, so I don't have too many friends, or anything." He responded, glancing back at her, seeing her struggling a bit. "Hey, you want me to carry you, or somethin'?" He offered, eventually.

Willow smiled, "I'm not too popular in heaven either. I think people just hang around me because my father owns the north side of the island. And they are terrified of him, i cant blame them. It only takes a flick of the wrist to kill someone... Even an angel.

"Hey, you want me to carry you, or somethin'?" Elliot offered. Willow blushed slightly, hiding it with Elliot's scarf. "Uh... Sure" She smiled, glad to get off the sharp stones.It was times like this when she was glad that Angels had to be a lot lighter then humans to be able to fly.

Elliot shrugged. "But I'm sure you guys aren't as violent, if you don't like someone, though. Here, if you don't like someone, you can literally blow them up if you want. Or throw them in a lava pit. It depends." He said. He'd escaped numerous situations like that, himself. He turned around to face her, then, a bit abruptly.

He then picked her up, when she agreed, sort of in bridal style, and started walking again, smiling, too. He didn't mind carrying her, really, since she wasn't that heavy, and it wouldn't do them any good if she messed her feet up, from the stones.

Willow hoped she wasn't being too much of a pain for Elliot, his arms were surprisingly comfortable. Perhaps she could of even fallen asleep, she willed herself not to. Just I case and demons showed up.

She nodded when Elliot spoke, "no" she confirmed
"We're really not very violent. Perhaps towards things that try to harm us. Not towards eachother though. I presume they also scared of my father because he could tell someone to go throw themselfs off a cliff. And they would have to do it. Not that we would say that, he is strickt, not mean. "So, what about you, what are the leaders of Hell like? Where did you stay when you were, younger or here for long term? And are you sure I'm not being a pain?

"Everyone's always fighting here, for the most part. Usually over some pretty stupid stuff, though." Elliot responded, with a small grin, remembering a few rather stupid, probably unnecessary fights he'd been in. "We don't really have a leader, just Satan himself, but nobody ever really sees him, or anything. He just kinda does his own thing." He said, and shrugged slightly. "I stayed just wherever I could, I guess, and you're not being a pain, trust me."

He was about to say something more, but he stopped abruptly, and growled. He glanced around, narrowing his eyes, and his tail flicked back and forth every now and then, and he appeared to be listening intently.

"Yea-" Willow was about to answer when she was cut off, Elliot stopped abruptly, and growled. He glanced around, narrowing his eyes. Willow shuffled out if his arms and stood beside him. She could sense another presence, listening, hiding from sight. She glanced at Elliot, to see what his next move, but he just stood still,listening intently. Occasionally swishing his tail back and forth.

Elliot continued to growl softly, for a few more seconds, absolutely sure that someone else was there. "Willow, run. Now, as fast as you can. Fly, or whatever." He told her, glancing back at her, his tone, and expression serious. "I'll follow you in a second, just go." He said, gesturing in the opposite direction, that they'd come from.

Willow stood there for a moment longer "what! No i'd never leave you!" She gasped, she planted her feet on the ground, but the look on elliot's face told her it was best for her to run. She squeezed Elliot's hand quickly and muttered "If you don't follow me i'll kill you myself." They reluctantly she turned and ran, ignoring the pain on her feet.
