He is constantly poking a sleeping bear, trying to find how much he can easily get away with, or prodding his company with either seemingly innocent or absurdly personal questions for future blackmail. It is no surprise that he often creates trouble for himself and others, but he usually manages to slip out of such situations, like a slimy eel. Few desire his company, and rightly so. He is the very definition of untrustworthy, and would sell out his closest friend for a scrap of food. Despite this, many come to him eventually due to his nosy nature, and the amount of information he gleans off his fellow flock members, whether they approve or not. Appearance ~  (Click image for source!)History ~ Kuo grew up in a nest with four other chicks, and was the last chick to hatch. He was the second largest in the clutch, always was the first to learn, and often robbed his siblings of their meals. Eventually he and his siblings were big enough to leave the nest and they flocked together for some time, but eventually he was outcast by them for his behavior and driven away, accompanied by pecks and scratches. He still has scars from this event, but if questioned will lie, and instead claim to have gotten them escaping a cat. He wandered for a while after this, and eventually found The Flock and joined. Fearing being outcast again and driven away he was compliant and quiet for a while, until he felt it was safe to resume his prodding and poking. He's quite and responsible, liking to think through anything before he does it. Some might accuse him of being too careful, but he'd just respond to that with 'one can never be too careful'. Although never rash, he always puts the flock first and wants only to protect and help it thrive. His brothers were inseparable from each other and somewhat wild, forcing him to step up to protect his younger, and somewhat fragile, sister. When they were old enough, his brothers left the flock to strike out on their own, but Adonis stayed back to take care of his sister. She died when she was 13 (not ill, just died), and although he considered leaving afterwards, decided to stay and help his flock. Because they took her in as a chick, she feels responsible for whatever she can do to help. Her job is not a praticularly happy one, but she tries to comfort to those affected. She is known to make rash decisions, following her gut instinct most often. Other than that, her life has been fairly normal. Once she encountered a raven whom she was led to believe was her father, but did not leave when offered to join him. That’s not to say she doesn’t make her own decisions, she just isn’t leader material. She would much rather be on her own, or following a someone that knows what they are doing. She is loyal through and through, she isn’t naturally ambitious and doesn’t aspire to rise into power, or anything of that sort. She is simply satisfied with her lot in life currently. Which also brings around another one of her personality traits, she isn’t afraid to use others to her benefit. She doesn’t go around manipulating and twisting others to her will, (she finds little joy at just the thought) she would much rather be more direct with her intentions. If you want honesty this is the girl to go to, she will give her un-censored opinion whether you like it or not. She is truly loyal to those who don’t expect blind trust, and have earned her respect. Slow to anger and with the patience of a saint, she is willing to sit through a lot and can withstand a certain level of abuse before her patience runs out. She has a strong dislike to complaining and whining, laziness, rude behavior, and unnecessary cruelty. And once she loses her patience, one better hope she just chooses to walk it off. She isn’t cruel or violent at any given moment but is usually very stern, and focused. She is more open when she isn’t working, because she believes in keeping a certain façade up whenever she is out. Appearance ~ She is a raptor with short, broad wings and a long tail,. Her back is blue-grey and her underside is white and is barred grey. Her tail is barred grey aswell and she has a pale white eye stripe. Her eyes are a dark shade of red. She is on the larger end of the scale, even for a female of her species. (At least 5 sentences and/or picture, don't forget to source it!) History ~ She was the first born in her family's nest and was welcomed to the world affectionately. Her parents were very caring yet still fairly strict. But she has very little memory of her first years of life until her sister was born. She and her sister were three years apart and were the best of friends when her younger sister got older. They grew together and were all each other needed, when they were old enough to leave the nest her sister decided to go mam an name for herself somewhere else. While she joined the flock. He is a very devoted individual when he decides to trust, which can take a while. He does have a caring side, silently doing kind things to others with no thoughts of favors in return. He's a calculating hawk, and doing things that are a bit... out of the box are the norm for him. Almost like a raven, he has figured out how to use tools, mostly sticks and strings, but there is a smart mind in his old head. He's not above starting a fight for what he perceives as just, but he can choose his battles well. Appearance ~ A picture! Taken from here History ~ Shar led a normal life, though recently things have been thrown off kilter for him. Him and his mate lived in the flock, but... His mate, after laying a singular egg, had a sickness worsen to the point where she passed away despite Shar's efforts to sustain her. The disease was too quick and sudden for her to be warranted killed by the murder, and thankfully she passed away on a journey to hunt. Shar was devastated, but is keeping himself together for the small egg, constantly doting on it in the cliff nest he lives in. Always seeing how far of a rope he can cut, how many steps he can take, and then taking more if he can. He rarely lets an opportunity pass, and prfers living on an edge than in comfort. Though, he is a bit smart, and so he doesn't go after obvious threats: he never picks on hawk nests, for instance. He mainly terrorizes smaller birds, eating eggs and small hatchlings before moving on to raid dumpsters. He's a bit of a connoisseur of human trash, and loves to discuss it, to the woe of anyone conversing with him. Appearance ~ Picture! From here History ~ A bit off kilter since he fledged, Natron has been a bit of a loose cannon. raiding human settlements for any meat scraps or digging through compost heaps. His proximity to humans leads him to have a pleasant view of them, and has learned to mimic some noises common to them (limited to 'hello', 'bird', and car noises.). He has little fear of other birds and would often raid nests. He continues to be a general nuisance, skirting the borders of the flight territory and harrowing the flight and anything sent after him. Natron is known best for diving into trees to discourage any cast members sent after him. Other ~ I don't really know the layout of the area, but he'd probably patrol human settlements and farms. I updates Palpetta's age. She's now envisioned as being 40 in human years. Also, here's the profile for her son! Name ~ Yurie Age ~ 20 Gender ~ Malr Rank ~ The Cast Species ~ Pallas' Fish Eagle Weight ~ 2.9 kg Wingspan ~ 190 cm Length ~ 69 cm Personality ~ Yurie is a confident and poised young male. He moves about with grace and dignity, but also wears his passion on his proverbial sleeve. He doesn't hesitate to speak of his aspirations in becoming a member of The Cast and how much he admires his mother. Like Palpetta, he chooses his words carefully and is very observant about his settings. Using his wits, he has a keen skill in manipulating some situations in his favor. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, and Yurie is a solid example of this. Appearance ~  Photograph by Koshy Koshy | [Source] History ~ Yurie is the only surviving offspring of Palpetta. He was the first to hatch in his clutch, followed by his sister. Five days after hatching, though, she died of unknown causes. With her death being at such a young age, he doesn't remember her and has grown up knowing himself as a singular chick. While his sire did participate in raising him, his mother was adamant about being the primary parent. She raised him with care and confidence, often challenging him and whispering little promises to him. This attentive and engouraging rearing produced a strong and self-assured adult with a deep loyalty to his mother. These days he can be found within the colony training with both his mother and his friends in hopes of one day making his way into The Cast so he can work right beside Palpetta.
