Aw man, yeah I saw that in the uh, last page? :c I almost lost like, to guess, 1000 photos? xDx my laptop screen went, and my laptop had to go back, and I knew cause it was a bit faulty the hard drive would have to be replaced (which it was) but I was able to use the main computer, connecting my laptop with it, so I had the computer screen as my laptop screen, and got all my photos off of it. In fact, this just reminded me. When my laptop charger gets here (last one broke RIP) I'm gonna go through my photos, choose the best ones, and put them on a disc or something O: Luckily atleast half those photos from my old camera were blurry or a pile of crap, or just practice photos, so nothing important c: the other half is like, really good (I think) photos, or I have like 150 photos of my dog who passed away, and even the blurry/crap photos of her I could not bear to lose ;A; Well I'm ramblings, oh well xD
#1 rule of APRH, rambling is allowed! :D

I'm still here!! ^^ sorry just been incredibly busy. Shooting some more bridals and wedding portraits this weekend and working on editing another wedding. If the clients don't mind, I may post a photo or two here but I'll have to ask them first.

I was lucky with my computer, as my dad is a computer expert. It was my motherboard, so everything is still on my hard drive, and the hardrive works fine! (Thank goodness, since I write as a hobby too)

Thank goodness Xathina! Every time I have a computer failure it always seems to be the hard drive. :(

Ooh yay more rat babies! That reminds me, my trio have been learning tricks and running obstacle courses hehe. I'll have to get some photos of them to show when I get a chance. They probably wouldn't be professional quality but they'll be photos of rats doing tricks so who cares right? Haha

As far as getting paid for my photography....a little. I'm not full professional yet. This is the second wedding I've shot stills for (i did video for another) and it's for a friend so they're just paying me what they can. Id rather not do weddings honestly, they are like tactical missions and you never get the time or situation you really need for optimal photos.
Anyone who shoots weddings for a living and gets fantastic photos of everything has my utmost respect. Its a battlefield out there and that takes talent.
I prefer dedicated shoots where me and the client can just spend our time together focusing on the photography and have fun with it. :)

Cerrates, omg, I don't care if the quality is like 5MP, rats doing tricks bruh, what could be better? xD I once taught my rat to put his food back in his bowl. did it once, never again... probably just a coincidence but DAMN was it adorable XD

Ooh okay yeah I get that ;3; yeah, weddings are probably great for getting money, from what I've heard, but they sound scary to me ;A; yeah I get that too! c:
I think what I wanna work in is mostly pet photography. or baby photography, sounds tricky, but fun o3o
But honestly, I think the trickier the better, cause how freakin great do you feel when you get that perfect shot ;A;
Took me quite a few attempts to get a photo of my rat in a mug, with him looking at the camera, and bonus getting him "praying", but I felt so awesome about it once I got it c:

Just thought I'd share this:
As I said before, I got a new camera, and a couple days ago, I picked up my old camera to transfer some photos left on it... and guys, not kidding, I nearly cried. I love that camera so much xD it taught me so much, and was pretty much the camera that made me say "this is what I'll do, this is my future"
Might sound silly to others, but I'm sure other photographers could understand <3
Was thinking of selling it at first to get money for bits, but, honesty? I don't think I could ever part with it ;A; (honestly though I'd have to pay someone to take it, it's in horrible condition on the outside, and does not look appealing, scratches on the screen, dirt on the outside of lens, etc... sad part was it was in that condition when I got it. either 1. the person before me did not look after it or 2. it's REALLY old) but yeah, so sad I may never use it again, but I've told my mum she can use it, so we can go out and take photos ;3;
