As soon as her lips touched Kylie's all the anxiety and all the questions she had been feeling recently seemed to melt away into bliss. Kylee couldn't doubt her sexuality anymore, not after this. She had fought so hard to deny it but she didn't want this to end. She kissed her back, with some kind of hunger she didn't know she even had as she placed her hand at the back of Kylie's neck.

Jayne waved as Kylee introduced her to her friend, Jayden, turning her attention to the game as Kylee took a seat. She watched as Kylie spun the bottle. It spun and spun, landing on none other that Kylee. Jayne's first thought was that it was funny that Kylie would have to kiss Kylee, with them having pretty much the same name and all. Her second thought was jealousy; she was beginning to like Kylee. She quickly pushed that away however, for many reasons. She wasn't even gay or whatever, at least not if anyone asked. And she didn't even know if this girl was either. In the end, she settled for giving her new friend what she hoped was a reassuring smile.

When she saw the two kiss, she felt a lot of different things she wasn't used to feeling. For one, her small bout of jealousy came back with a new strength, but something else was even more prevalent: sadness. Deep inside, she knew that she liked girls. But she also knew that she could never be with one, or she would be living on the streets right now. Because of this, she'd figured she could just pretend to be straight, marry a guy someday, and live her sad life with three kids and a failing marriage in some Midwestern suburb. However, this thought made her even more unhappy than it usually did. She went rigid as a pole, realizing that she was stuck in this stupid limbo that she'd never get out of. She continued to half-watch the game, but she remained rigid, her eyes focused on her fists that sat in her lap.
