aah I'm back - kinda because it's now the summer. I changed my name from Sierra to Lumiere i guess. I'm trying to go really chill on the actual gameplay part, partly because it gets really stressful and partly because I'm a little a loss for resources (:D) Anyway, seeing all your art again, and you guys have improved so much <3 I think I've improved in term of humans, and I've tried doing some more realistic drawings as well (with references) ;-;

Sorry about my absence(once again) from the thread, by the way. My tablet was misbehaving for at least a good month or two(honestly the problem probably started before that too, and I just didn't realize it), but I just figured out this week that it was my pen that was broken, and ordered a new one ^^ I've been silently stalking the thread, looking at everyone's pretty art, then ended up sitting in a corner pouting because my tablet wasn't working
Thing I did while "giving up" on my tablet. It's literally made from the wax casing of Baby Bell cheese... I got bored

Thanks ^^ It took around 6/7 hours to complete, and then I had to go back and fix some of the center, since I accidentally crushed it with my fingers trying to add more XD

I think it's going along very well! I love the blending of the colours. One thing to improve on might be to add more fur and mane details. As for pricing, I've always been bad at those, but when starting out with art, I always recommend to have lower prices - until you gain a little bit of an audience, and you can start increasing then ^^ Just so you know, my first recolour was priced at 200sb per.

@Lumiere Thanks alot for the advice! ^_^ I'm pretty bad at adding the little textures Q.Q not quite the best at fur as I'm used to drawing humans more than animals, but I'll practice more!! I appreciate your time and advice!

LittleKitti, no I didn't have to melt it. I just played with it, rolling it into a ball and then other random shapes till it was soft enough. For that flower, I used probably around four or five of the casings (I kept saving the wax. I wouldn't recommend trying to eat that much cheese at once xD) from the mini Babybels. They go a long way surprisingly. Each of the petals only used a very, very, little ball of wax, smaller than a pea, slightly bigger for the large petals. I did have to keep putting the flower in the fridge while working on it though. It gets a little too soft at times otherwise, and chilling it sort of "sets" it.

Currently I'm stockpiling the wax to work on a model of a character, but I'm going to have to make a wire skeleton first. I'm still just sketching my plans out on paper for it.
