Generally I find anatomy tutorials aren't as helpful as lots of practice and referencing. :D Don't be afraid to look up poses/body types as much as you need!

@Vanagandr
No problem and good luck!
Oops I actually forgot to draw the laces I'll draw them once I start outlining
Hm yeah now that I look at it, he needs to be more thick

@Sierra
Yeah i don't have actual anatomy tutorials, it's more like a ton of references combined into one drawing
Practice makes perfect! An artist is always practicing and learning no matter how good their art is

@Ookami
I actually only have two drawings that I've ever colored, and it's only because I specifically made them to color them. I'm also constantly worried that I'll mess up the drawing by coloring, and that's why I would never have the guts to buy copics because I feel like it would be money wasted considering I never color anything, haha. Honestly, hard outlining things scare me too, just the whole "messing it up and not being able to fix it" aspect of drawing really sucks.
I also wanted to mention that I'm super jealous of the way you draw horses- I think that was done very well.
@Sierra
If you find any that are good, can you pass them along? I've never found any that are truly helpful, I guess you're right that practice is the only way to really get it down xD

@castaway
Agreed, that's why I stick to digital and only draw traditional when trying to break out of art block. Mostly it's just animals or landscapes, I find landscapes much easier to draw in traditional than digital.
I bought some acrylic paint/brushes months ago but I've only used them once lmao and my sister gave me her old prismacolored pencils which I rarely use too DX

Thank you! I was really scared to draw horses a couple years back, but around 2011-12ish I finally challenged myself. This I believe is the first horse I've ever drawn, June 2012
OP_3757.png my oc Gin
this is how he looks like now though in 2016

I still don't think I have the hang of it though but I'm trying!

@xiinos and Wolfwander
I've never played Bioshock Infinite lol oops

@Vanagandr
I have that feeling most of the time after I zoom out from a drawing or when I flip the image
The drawing turned out pretty good! Drawing horse is hard enough let alone a human riding one, the only thing that's bugging me is the person's foot and the horse's front left leg, but it looks like you outlined in pen? So can't really fix it

@Sierra and castaway
Actually! My sister linked me a tutorial in dA (she's an artist too and the reason I became an artist) and she's using those to learn about human anatomy. I haven't checked them out myself yet but maybe they can help?

Anyone heard of someone named Mano-the-handy-cat on DA?
They recently just send me a message threatening me about how my art looks like colored in lineart (Which is false, I just don't put much time in coloring and detail)

Trying out a more paintery style. It's shown without the sketch, just the part that I have ready.
It won't be just a normal lion, it will be my new OC!
