Haha, I can never really finish my art.. I start on something, then I have to get off then I usually don't finish it. I've been really busy/depressed/anxious/stressed lately so I haven't been doing much art on the computer..

I have a problem. So I am drawing this hawk anthro guy but how do I do the wings? The guy who asked me to do it wants wings. He(or she) also perhaps wants to do a fursuit of this character so I can't just do angel wings because they would be much to unstable and small wings don't look that good. So the wings have to be connected to the hands. But how to do it?

I tried just normal bird wings without arms:

Besides the wing problem I am really proud of him. His expression is just perfect! Not too grumpy and not too nice while still keeping the eyebrow ridge. I tried to make him as bird like as possible :D

I often will draw the structure before the feathers if you get what I mean, it will help you be able to shape the wings easier and see inaccurate anatomy. Wings can be really hard IMO!
I really like what you've got so far! I have issues getting wings in what I feel a right position but usually with ferals.

Maybe draw up his arms and have the wings underneath the arms? for example
mind my horrid sketch lol so kind of like bat wings ... i guess
