I love the explore encounters that feature actual characters, like the ones that are of the admins and the evilest lion. I think we need more! Some ideas we could do (with the lions owners permission of course!) The first leopon king (and currently still the only!) Leviathan The first dwarf born Adva Or a general dwarf encounter in explore. A fatal mutation encounter Suggested by FlipicusPup: First lion to reach 100,000 positive karma Weary traveller-first lion to reach a certain number of steps in explore New thought: Perhaps not have any that where luck based, like first dwarf or first fatal. Focus more on lions that are the result of a lot of hard work like most good and first to king their leopon. Suggested by Bamon: Lion who has collected the most silver beetles in explore. No lions modeled after actual users lions would be specifically named in the explore encounter. |

I support, but I also agree with Blaize. This could easily turn into a contest to be first, best, whatever. So I think instead of featuring the very first lion of whatever sort, maybe a rotation of random members' lions of that sort. Each month could be a different lion from a different member. It seems a bit more fair that way to me. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I think the more lions you add, the more non-essential art Xy has to do, and we're still catching up on things that people really want, like decors for poses and updating explore encounters. Yes, it's a nice idea to include everyone, but people have these kinds of goals regardless. For Baroness it was a nice little recognition for having an impossible-seeming goal and sticking to it. I don't think it will become a race to get the most, or be any more competitive, than it is now with the leaderboards visible to everyone. If it really seems like such an issue, then we could stick to already achieved goals, like the first leopon born/first kinged, and the first mutation on the site etc. All the other goals would be secret until someone achieved them and it would be a surprise which lions/players got picked for their achievements and asked to feature in an explore encounter. 0 players like this post! I don't support only because a lot of the time it is usually the same people that end up getting those 'firsts'. I'm not saying they haven't earns them but some users don't have the same time and money to get to the same heights so it wouldn't be fair in the long run. No offence to anyone but it's frustrating enough with the raffle lionesses who seem to go for the same range of account numbers more often then not ;) I do like the idea of fictional lions (aka TLK) making cameos in explore. 0 players like this post! Well actually Bamon, the raffle lionesses only go to active members. With older players more likely to be inactive then the raffle lionesses most often go to 40k users and above. It makes sense of you look at the members online list for any given day, there are simply more newer users online and able to enter the raffle. 'Some users don't have the time and money to get to those heights' Alright but that's like saying that the Olympics shouldn't exist because some people don't do sport. Of course some people can't achieve it, I'm actually a little confused by what you're saying. Not everybody can get on the items hoarded, or highest stat queen leaderboards, for example, but it doesn't mean they shouldn't exist to showcase the best of both of those categories. Your time and effort is pretty much directly proportional to how much you can achieve in this game, at least for the things like karma and steps taken, and the mutations are random chance, so everyone had a fair shot at those. The only current explore encounter is Lector, and he didn't achieve any other massive goals, so again, a little confused by you saying 'a lot of the time it is the same people getting these firsts 'firsts''. That's a very vague statement to make, and I can't think of any of the categories suggested that would actually overlap. Lethal mutations have nothing to do with karma, karma has nothing to do with explore steps taken, and so on. 0 players like this post! Like? |

The main focal point in this is to showcase major events in lioden history. The first Lethal mutation is important The first Leopon is Important The first Dwarf is important The first Leopon King is important Dr Lector reaching his karma level was important. I'm sure when someone reaches the same level of goodness, that will also be important. These are all things that have been landmarks to this game and can be recognized by all people. The argument of "everyone should have a lion" is in my opinion, A childish "everyone gets a trophy." And the argument of "people may get cyber bullied" that goes along with this is also ungrounded. There is a modbox for a reason and there are mods and admins that deal with those reports- that is their job. Once you strive and put effort into a goal, as a lot of people have, maybe it too could be recognized. But if you are not willing to put effort in, you will gain nothing in the long run. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I agree with ♡ Lex ♡, it's about the development of the game itself, and not about competing or feeling jealous. I mean, it would take time to design the encounter every month, just so everyone has their lion shown in explore. People don't complain about the trivia questions regarding other players, now, do they? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Nobody says the encounters had to be frequent, soot. Just that the encounters would be nice. I personally wouldn't mind seeing people's lions that they worked hard to make great once every few hundred steps. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I have pretty much the same question. Why the first dwarf and leopon and not the first raffle marked lion born, or the first folded ears, or the first mane fuzzy? There are a ton of firsts in the game that have been or are still to be accomplished. Do all of them get to be so notable as to have their own encounter, or is it just arbitrarily picking what a few people think are the "cool" firsts? 0 players like this post! Like? |

It's not about the people owning those lions thinking they're cool, it's the fact that they are recognized by other players because they had the first leopon born and such...? :S 0 players like this post! Like? |

Well, frizzy/fuzzy mane mutation and folded ears and the like are incredibly common. Things like this would be decided by the user base. Dwarves, lethals and leopons are the rarest mutations you can get so to have the first one is more of an achievement than to have the first folded ears lion. I do agree for first mutie ever though, if we know who had it and if they are still active. The good karma thing I suggested was to counterbalance already having Lector in explore, and it's the only one so far that really requires a lot of active effort, the others are pretty random. I expect when tigons come out there will be another explore encounter for a 'first' relating to them. Really, not everybody needs a lion in explore, you have your own main male there already. Let it be chosen by staff whilst taking into account the popular opinions of users, we only need one per event. 0 players like this post! Like?
