Ah I understand that very well, I actually made a few characters based on my depression, the main one being a guy called Felix.
Like I said, my edgy phase did not last long at all, maybe a month or two. But Sean got the full front of it. He's being mentally and physically abused by his brother, he fell in love with a girl and joined a satanic cult with her, it eventually drove her insane and she attacked him when he tried to leave, causing the scars across one side of his face. He eventually left his hometown in England and ran to Japan where his favourite singer (Mendax) lived as he felt safe there. When he did go back to England briefly a few years later his sister was kidnapped by his ex-girlfriend and he ended up having to kill her to get his sister back. Before she died she told him he had a son who was in the next room so now he has to look after a 3 year old child at 19 years old. She also came back as a ghost and made him immortal until her sons 18th birthday so she could ensure he was safe. Sean has major germophobia, OCD and is suicidal due to being in a cult that murdered people for "sacrifices", however he can't die because he needs to look after a child he never wanted.
Felix is very depressed and uses music to escape reality all the time. He both makes and listens to it. He's never seen without his foster brother, who is a whole lot livelier than him. Felix is quiet and despite his massive build he is a big pushover (until someone hurts his foster brother in some way) as he never believes he's worth anything. Most people in the school are afraid of him though because he comes from a family of hot headed people and they know he can do something if he wanted to.

The Walrider, those look awesome, and I love the style you used ^^

My days and night are really screwed up right now, so I decided it was a bright idea to do sleep deprived species concepts and sketches >.< Here's one(kinda proud of it, despite needing serious work) and here's the other, which I've actually been working on for some time on paper, but this is the first time drawing/sketching digitally. Knowing me, in about an hour, I'll probably have created some weird monstrosity that should be burned with fire X3

I just spent the last few hours working on a site I've been meaning to use for my characters and world info... Most productive thing I likely did was writing up the info for vampires and dhampirs finally XD Like my phoenixes, they're also a bit different from the usual stories. I'd love it if someone would be willing to give it a look through, and let me know if it all sounds okay ^^ I think I covered everything needed for a mostly basic look at them(origins, strengths/weaknesses, appearance, and how they're perceived).

I'm not really too much of a fan of putting vampires into my stories, but it's well stated that they exist in several places in my stories, so I figured it was about time I came up with something for them.
