Having spaced out for awhile, as he often did, staring at the trash can that had at one point in time been stalking him, Ashton was brought back to reality when the group that had gathered began to disperse toward a nearby diner. He frantically collected himself, giving a brief glance back at one of the girls he vaguely remembered as Brooklyn and reaching to tap her on the shoulder.
