Brooklyn looked at Aston and gave him a slight smile watching the group, she looked at Ashton and shrugged "Why not" She said giving him a smile before grabbing his wrist pulling him along to the rest of the group. she pulled her hair down from the bun after letting go of his wrist and started to tie the blonde mane back up, she chewed on her lip watching everyone interact, she glanced at Ashton and grinned "I'm Brooklyn, Just in case you don't remember, everyone started showing up at once and I lost track of all the names"

Ashton was honestly surprised when he suddenly got pulled toward the diner, after being the one to suggest that they join the others there. He had labeled Brooklyn as an antisocial person in his mind, especially after seeing her attempt at walking away from the whole group on her own. She hadn't seemed very interested in hanging out with them, but he'd certainly been wrong before, even if reading people through their mannerisms and actions was a skill he prided himself in. "Sweet," he said, returning the smile with one of his own. "I'm Ashton. I dunno if I introduced myself or not earlier. My memory's not exactly the best. Brooklyn, though. Nice name."

His small talk was... well, lacking, especially for someone who tended to be pretty social, but he brushed it off as the after effects of being stalked by a trash can. "So, uh, are you having issues too? Like the whole fire thing, and the earthquake, and the water jumping out of the lake. Don't take this the wrong way or anything, but I sort of hope you are. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to wish anything on you, but you know, it'd be pretty weird if only a select few were having problems."

Brooklyn smiled and nodded "Yea I'm having issues, one of the most recent issues is actually why I'm not at home right how." She twitched slightly keeping the smile on her face but her eyes dimmed slightly "My house is one of those that still has a fireplace, we use it actually, which is odd since we have heat, but my dad says its to save money until it gets too cold" she paused and shook her head" Sorry sidetracked," she spoke softly "My mom and I were fighting in the living room over me staying out too late, and I got all worked up and was yelling, and the fire just seemed to jump out of its designated area and started burning the carpet" she twitched her nose "Fire hazard that is, keeping a carpet in front of a fireplace" she tilted her head at him "Are you having any issues?"
