Hopefully she'll give me some nice Mottled Rosette, Special Based cubbins when her breeding cooldown is over. Until then, she's getting her 10 hunts a day to improve her stats.

If I get lucky with some Mottled cubs, I'll definitely be offering them to the clan.

Thank you! I actually didn't expect to win, but I'm really pleased I did. I wanted to keep her simple and very 'leopard like'. She's planned to be my queen and her daughter (if all goes well) gets to be the next queen too.

Also, I have a question for the clan!

I know we have rules about rolled kings and second generation cubs, but what if the cub has an uneven pedigree? Like...bred from a second generation king but an NCL mother? Would that count as a second generation cub or a third generation cub?

Like this for example (hopefully Berenos doesn't mind me using one of hers as an example!)

And I was thinking so, but I wasn't sure if the clan had specific rules about that. Personally I like 'even' pedigrees just because it looks nicer to me, but it was something I was wondering about.

Well, nuts, I did a thing in the Wardrobe. I was playing around with the Fossil/Fossil base and decided to just play with custom markings to see what I could make. I actually found one I rather like. It's a little more 'flashy' than the straight NCL markings, but still pretty natural, I think. It's definitely got a bit more variation and 'pop' to it though!

It looks pretty good with Amber, Dinar, Nacarat, Champagne, Udara, & Goldenrod too. It also looks decent (not quite as blended, but not bad) with Buff, Buttercream, Buttermilk, Fulvous, and Topaz. So it could look nice on future cubbins.

Thanks! It's a bit bright with the Fossil because of the shading. It looks a little more mellow but still nice with something like Nacarat or Udara.
