Oh, I missed that Mad Hyena. Dang. So I guess Clan Chases are a thing of the past now. That's a little sad!

And... yeah. I'm pretty sure they caught on that people were buying, chasing, & reselling NCLs using the instaclaim methods via multiaccounts or via friends. I thought perhaps they were letting it slide since there was still a chance someone else could claim a lioness.

On the other hand, I'm kind of glad that it's ending and changing this way (though I'll still miss the clan chases).

Yeah, kinda sad it had to be done. ^^ Ive heard on chat it was partially due to people abusing chasing females and re-claiming them instantly to bypass their breeding cooldowns. I understand why admins changed it then, as it is indeed an abuse of a game feature not intended for that.

I don't think clan chases should stop. I'm not a big fan of the chase and reclaim update - I understand the reasons behind it, since it was, after all, being exploited, but that does not mean I like this being updated.
I believe this shouldn't stop clan chases though! We just can have a set up chasing day and just get a bunch of very nice ladies for a whole day.

Actually, if anything, clan chases will have even more sense! If a whole clan chases one day and maybe keeps track of the ladies chased it will make it far easier to retrieve your own ladies!

I suppose we could do like a "Chase Weekend"? The timer is 12-48 hours so it could be a whole weekend of seeing if people got lucky?

I actually like that idea Vayae - a "Chased Alert" thread. Unfortunately with a wide window of 12-48 hours there's no guarantee of when they'll pop up, but we could at least keep an eye out for each other/know what's upcoming.

I agree with Vayae and Tau! Because of my timezone and work schedule I could rarely make clan chases, so I would usually just hope for the best. I don't think the clan chases should stop. Even if we don't reclaim many of our own ladies, I'm sure the ones that get claimed elsewhere will still make people happy. ;)

After all, this makes Hard Mode a bit more hardcore and I believe clean lined/heritageless/2nd gen lions will have far more value than your normal chased & reclaimed lioness.

This update does have a few perks that make it better, although it still hurts >.>

I sorta understand why they did it but at the same time this screws over almost half of their userbase.

There was always a risk in reclaiming and apparently that risk wasn't enough.
