I'm conflicted about the update... I understand why they did it, and being able to insta-claim any chased lioness kinda defeats the purpose of hard mode itself, but it's still gonna affect the economy for chased lionesses which pretty much only a small amount of players care about :/ On the other hand, now that you don't need to click claim the absolute MILLISECOND someone chases means it might be more likely chased girls don't go to waste and actually get caught. I guess we can only wait and see how it pans out.

I PMed Abbey about the new chasing feature. I will let everyone know what she says. :3

Looking over some of you guys' recent chatter though, I hadn't thought about reclaiming as a cooldown loophole so maybe that's the only reason I can think of why they may have done it.
But I still don't see how this could count as a serious exploit. At best, you still only get a 50% chance of reclaiming vs losing your best girl using this method ( because even if you somehow get the reclaiming down to a perfect science - which itself is unlikely- there's still a 50% chance she gets deleted permanently)
That's very high risk just to try to skip some cooldown time. Realistically, the chances of having her deleted are greater than the amount of breedings you would gain (you risk all other natural breedings in her lifespan for a chance of one extra one each time).
Youre much more likely to screw yourself over trying that than to come out on top.

And there goes pretty much any chance of cleaning up lines. ( and yes, prices will go up on chased girls. They already did when people realised that Hard Mode was a thing. Chasies went from a couple hundred SB to buy back from someone to several GB if the seller wasn't a hard mode member willing to be nice to fellow clan members. )

Also id note that now a lot more people are going to get bugged for "hey you caught my girl can I buy her back" than ever before.
Imo, its a lot less disruptive when we have a higher chance of keeping most of that between clan members.


But anyway....if nothing can be done and everything stays this way I guess we can try clan Chase weekend's and hope for the best. But it is definitely going to be a lot harder and I doubt we'll have much luck. :/

I have to admit, I've never heard of ANYONE trying to wipe a mutation by chasing!

I can see why they would get worried about people being able to skip cooldowns for free though.

How about a chase tracking thread then? I think making one where we could post our lionesses and times they were chased should help us - and others - track down our ladies (and provide a proof that they were chased by us in case somebody doubts it too), so it will be at least a tiny bit easier to get your important ladies back :)

That's an idea. If nothing else you guys can feel free to post it here! I've noticed not every clan member subscribes to all our different threads but most keep an eye on this one.
I'll consider adding a new thread though if it looks like a lot of people would use it ( respond if you will! )

I am thinking we will probably do some kind of Chase weekend for the future. Well have to see how that goes, but we might as well try. I'll post an announcement when we get it decided. :)

... wiping mutations? REALLY? I hardly imagine anyone WANTING to wipe mutations ever except the occasional "I really want this lion but it has a lethal and I don't want to freeze it" which... won't matter. I'm at a loss on that one. I'm really curious what got that in their heads.

I think combining the community effort for Clean/Chased/HM clans to a single chase tracking thread would be a good idea, honestly.
