That's kind of my thoughts. Most naturals do cream and golden; it's my first instinct too!

The Red Light Solid group actually isn't very red for the most part. It's more like soft, light browns/creams that do pretty well. I admit, I really don't like Cinnabars, but if I get one, I could sell it pretty easy, I think. I know a lot of people really like Cinnabars!





That's the commons and the only one I don't really care for is Wild Rose (a bit too red) but the rest are pretty warm, natural looking. I bet with the right touches of white, creams, and browns they would look very nice.

And, of course, Sapela is just really pretty.


But I'm not 100% sure. I kind of want to do it because it's not what I normally do, but then again, Goldens are my very favorites and they don't get a lot of love. However, I always end up doing Goldens so do I change it up? Or stay the same?

Yes you are allowed to buy clean lionesses as long as that have no heritage whatsoever or only parents (Gen 2) :)

I know it's hard beginning in the Golden group with a Golden Solid base :'D

I was debating on a mix, Berenos, but was kind of leaning toward trying to stay in "one group" so I'd have a good idea of what I would get (and how it would look with the various markings).

You know how it goes...something that might look amazing on the right golden base, looks awful on a gray or white base, etc.

I'm sort of leaning toward Red since not too many natural breeders do it. Plus, if I change my mine as long as my king stays Sunshine, I'll probably get some healthy Goldens in there too. And Golden Light Solid isn't too bad (although I prefer the Countershaded Golds).
