So, since I'm redoing my pride after my sales finish up on 2/6, I'm trying to decide a color group to focus on. I want one that has "fails" and commons that I like, as well as looking good with whatever markings I decide to do. I also want one with specials (in case I get lucky) that I like. And, I also want them to look natural/realistic since I prefer the (semi) natural look for my lions.

So, here are the groups I'm considering! I'd love some ideas and input though!

Cream Light Countershaded - Almond, Antler, Vanilla | Buff (also Ivory & Ethereal, but those are applicator ones and need a parent) - not too bad!

Golden Dark Countershaded - Deira, Doubloon, Jacinthe, Ochre | Dinar, Fulvous - a little dark and sometimes a bit red, but I like them a lot

Golden Medium Countershaded - Ducat, Saffron, Sunflower | Nacarat - nice shades and pretty natural

Red Light Solid - Cedar, Cremello, Fallow, Sandy, Wild Rose | Cinnabar, Sapela - normally don't like reds, but most of the group are very natural. Not a huge fan of Wild Rose or Cinnabar, but Cinnabar would probably sell well if I get one. And Sapela is very pretty.

So, now I just have to pick what I want to do. I was planning to leave Tau a Sunshine for special, but customize/claim some girls with the proper bases for my "restart".

Tau, you have a lot of the same taste in bases I do. xD It's a hard call, really. I'm a huge fan of creams and so that's my instinct. Red Light Solid is my least favorite there, just because Cinnabar is so LOUD.

However - Golden Dark Countershaded also has Kimanjano, which means you could have a very rare and pretty base carried through your pride once you got a hold of one initially. Plus Dinar and Fulvous are both great bred specials.

I love the cream light countershaded. I end up with a good amount of them from my cream medium solid king too. But those are some of my favorite "fail" bases.

The golden dark and mediums aren't bad either ( love Dinar!)

My least favorite of those options would be the red light solid, but on the other hand I would love to see this group done well. It would add some variety since most natural breeders go for cream or gold. :)
