Woops that's what I meant too I think. Cursed similar manes! It's a shame that anything I breed wouldn't be HM compatible, but I could try to breed & chase so there are some Royal NCLs out there... if there's interest, of course. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I think it really depends kurushimi. I like the way primal looks, personally, and if you mass breed to NCLs he will eventually pass his mutation. Primals can sell for 1 GB at least, and if it winds up being a smilus or felis you can sell a second gen to clean-line breeders or other HM members for a good price. I would say if you can find a good deal on one and like primal then go for it! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Woo! My breeding spree went fantastic! Out of 26 cubs I got.... 9 Royal Manes 3 Primals (1 with Royal Mane) 2 Felis (1 with Royal Mane) 2 Smilus (1 with Royal Mane) 2 Special Bases So I'm pretty sure I have the 1st Royal maned Primal, 1st Royal maned Felis, and the 1st Royal maned Smilus! I did a search and none of the cubs currently listed with Royal mane are Primal, Felis, or Smilus! So yay!  And I also got a Royal-maned Rosette! A random Gold Rosette since neither parent had it! I wish I'd known Barbary + Thick could have done Royal before. I would have changed Tau's to Royal. Sideburn isn't bad though! I'm super pleased with the results! 0 players like this post! Like? |

I don't even know what to do with two Smilus!  Felis I can change to females if I want to keep (got 1 male, 1 female). Might end up selling or raffling one.And yes, Tufted + Barbary does too! I'm not sure how specific the combos or if it's more like the "combo bases" where "any of this" with "any of this" = Royal mane. 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Tau While I suspect the Royal mane is the result of a "pointy" mane - such as Regent, Tufted, Crested, ect. - mixed with a "dense" one - such as Barbary, Heavy, Katanga, ect. -, so far it's the only mane that has shown me Royal cubs in the scrying stone with Ajali, so... I'll stick to it for the foreseeable future. I actually like Barbary mane, so if I get Barbary maned cubs I'll be happy too. 0 players like this post! Like? |
