I agree with Blue on this.
While watching my sister play pokemon ranger on the DS, i noticed that as a ranger, your not flexible to the change of environment. With pokemon being a one use only, except you partner, it's more focused on strategy and what you can use at a moments notice.

So, i would rather be a trainer than a ranger.

So uh, not exactly on the topic of trainer vs ranger, but I got Sun this past weekend and I'm on the third island and absolutely love it. The last games I played were B&W (I only had one of them and admittedly didn't like it much and didn't finish, oops), and ORAS. So it was necessary for me to get the newest gen.

Gen III has always been my fav, and I played the original S, R, and E religiously. I played those games so many times that I lost count xD I never found another generation I loved until now. I adore the Alola region and the Pokemon. It's so unique and different style-wise from all of the other games that it is so refreshing. I loved the old games too, don't get me wrong, but it got repetitive after a while. The style of this region is to die for, though. Kudos to them, and I hope that for future games they keep mixing it up!

My Pokemon of choice is Mudsdale (if you...couldn't tell by the profile pic I am just uh...a little bit obsessed), and she's a female and named after my actual horse (of course). She has been on my team from a little Mudsbray and is my strongest atm. My other ones that stay on my team are Talonflame (she JUST evolved while typing this, ha!), Vaporeon, Pikachu, Steenee, and then the last slot tends to rotate a little depending on what I need (currently Persian is hanging out there).

I am having so much fun with this, no joke. I adore it! It's nice to be a part of this group ^^

(And yes I ride the Mudsdale mount everywhere, but shh, don't tell anyone I'm that obsessed ;) )

Mudstale has a pretty rad ability
I think it gains defence after every hit it take for the battle, if I remember correctly. So it's a solid member.

Mudsdale is awesome. Powerful moves, and is a tank in battle. Since I've had her, she's barely fainted. And since I spend so much time with her in refresh, she loves me so absolutely refuses to faint. It's great xD She went on 1HP for three attacks one time which caused us to win. I love her to death, no lie. It's a very good Pokemon in general, highly recommend :)

Hmm.
If thats the case, would a nature with + sp def / - sp att be alright?
It will automatically boost its lowest def type stat... But even then it does not go that high.

Since it's an attack-heavy Pokemon, the second option would be better because it's already slow, so lowering speed more won't really do much. More HP/Att/Def would buff it nicely, though.
