This was my first lioden Christmas and tbh I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. Today the event ends, and I only got 200 stink bugs. I can't buy the things I wanted at all. Hope they fix this in the future.

Grand total of 171 stink bugs between two accounts! I didn't roll much, true. And since I didn't roll much, I of course didn't participate in any of the forum and chat spam (tbh I hate that part of the event anyway, it floods out real forum activity). But I did explore my butt off whenever I did have the time to roll, spending energy on two accounts.

I'm not asking for the majority of this event to be explore based, because I understand that's not the point, but I did participate in the spam last year, still rolled only about 15 times, and ended up with over 1k bugs. That's... disheartening during the season of giving and family. Do I really need to sacrifice that much family time to spam "poop me!" on every forum thread just to be able to buy more than 1-2 things?

ok i’m way too tired & in way too much pain to do the numbers on my side account but here’s my totals for my main: bundles 214 total. 114 shits, got 68 StB. 615 total StB. (on my side i’ve earned about 520 total, for reference.)

so.. the drop rate from poops was better than i hoped but still only ended up getting me *almost* enough for an old marking applicator. the new base applicator will cost me about 25% of my total haul. & i’m a person who has been able to roll every day, sometimes even spending most of my day actively playing the game. the current system is a huge insult to the players who cannot be as active as regularly. in my opinion, the poop system should be there to supplement less active players. not everyone is gonna have loads & loads of time to play this game during this particular month, & so the poop system should help make up for that.

only letting the people who use red bull etc daily/the people who post the most daily get everything they want from the event shop.. sucks frankly. there’s a bunch of decor i’d want but i won’t buy because i simply don’t have enough currency to get all the applicators i need too.

i’ve been back on here since this august. i can’t pick a favorite event—they’ve all been pretty fun. but this is easily the event i dislike the most.. literally because it’s so unrewarding. it’s just not fun to not be able to get what you want from the event shop.

edit: i don’t even necessarily want every encounter to drop bugs (like the ones where you already get something could stay as is). but *some* of these really, really should drop event currency. even with the encounter rate increased, i’d find myself spending full energy bars & netting 1-2 StB instead of 0-1.

SO MUCH SUPPORT. I always hate the Dec event, because the Stink Bugs are so hard to come by. :c It's a busy time for most people, so they don't have time to grind for event currency. I think they should be more available in explore.

Support- relying on others for currency is pure chance and not reliable, it would be a lot better if we could earn our own. It’s so much harder to get currency in December compared to the other events.

This is very unfortunate - I need to get arctic marking apps for my heir, and I know I'd need several because three of the outcomes are hideous and I'm trying to get Feline Unders. I don't think I will be able to afford more than one app at the rate I am going.

Supported. Its kinda ridiculous this thread is from 2016 and still hasn't been upped nor has there been any explanation for WHY the Mods haven't done this yet. The whole gifting and pooping thing really just becomes a popularity contest of who is most active in the chat. This really puts a damper on those too anxious to hop into the chat. Either pooping should guaruntee stink bugs AND more event encounters drop stinkbugs, or one or the other needs to be upped.

And I'm gonna mention that the 888 gifts has pretty much gaurunteed people are just dumping their junk on people just so they can get the Festive app. And pooping doesn't go towards that 888 gifts, so people are now losing out on even MORE stink bugs and ending up with tons of herbs and uncraftable items and decor that they can't even sell on TC or on branches. This is probably the worst event for any profit at all besides those people that do giveaways and end up with tons of stinkbugs and then sell the apps and decor they get later. Really rubbernecks the market for a select few people to make a profit in the end.

I couldn't have said that better myself! I've noticed a lot of the popular users talking about how they already have several hundred bundles, and i'm struggling a bit, especially knowing that most of the bundles are probably aloe leaves, I'm exploring as much as I can but I never get more than 5 per energy bar

Its very frustrating, you spend all day exploring just to find StB and you barely find anything. The drop chance should be increased or the encounters that dont give anything currently should give something
