Ava shook her head at him, giving him a soft look. "No they don't. What really makes us different? Some people may of made mistakes, but that doesn't mean you all are the same" she had the same passion back as before when she spoke. It was clear when she believed in something, she couldn't hold back herself from becoming fiercly passionate when she spoke. Now she looked very confused now as he apologized, looking at him. ""Why are you sorry?" she asked softly, she wasn't sure where the words had come from. "You haven't done anything to be sorry for..." she tilted her head a little, showing her confusion even more. As she stood there she was slowly walking forwards, her feet couldn't seem to stop moving. After a few steps she managed to stop herself, she didn't know if thye were being watched.

Draco looked up at her, "I'm sorry because I can't make this easier. I don't know how to make them see. I want to say yes but I feel like it doesn't mean anything if I know it's not going to happen. Every day, I've thought about how you'd ask me if I had made a choice. I would always say I'd think about it. Well when they threatened you I kind of made a choice. I want it to stop.. I want it to at least be passive between them." he said. He looked down again, "I care about you. I haven't cared about anyone, EVER, except myself." he said very quietly, he didn't look back at her. It was the first time he had ever felt that way. It was confusing for him.

Listening to him speak she nodded her head attentively, his words actually made her happier than she expected. "As long as you're sure, don't do this just because you feel like you have to" she told him. Now she sat in the grass, looking over at him with a large grin on her face. She couldn't seem to wipe it from her face, everything was better than she could've wanted it to be. "Well I'm glad you care about me. That's just proof that you're not all the same" she sighed gently. Her hands began to play with the grass, she felt...nervous. It was a very weird feeling, she'd never been nervous about anyone before. "I care about you too" she spoke finally, looking up from the ground finally. "What now?" she asked, more referring to the plan than anything else.

Draco looked away, "It's not because I feel I have to... though if I kept saying id think about it you'd just keep asking anyway." he said with a slight laugh. He watched as she played with the grass, he could tell she was nervous. He didn't want to admit it but he also felt quite nervous. He had a strange sensation come over him. He sat next to her and rested his face in his hands for a moment before running a hand through his pale blonde hair, it was a sign of his nervousness. "I'm glad you don't think I'm like the rest of them." he said as he looked up at the moon briefly. It was burning bright, casting their shadows on the ground. He looked at them for a few moments. It reminded him that aside from their families hating each other they were the same deep down.. just two people. When she asked him a question it broke his concentration. He looked over at her and without realizing it, leaned against her, his head on her shoulder. "I have no idea.." he whispered.

She laughed a little at his first repsonse, it made this tense situation feel a little less tense at that moment. With him sat next to her she began to think, the moment of silence was nice. It wasn't an awkward silence, but a comfortable one she felt she wouldn't have to break. Feeling his head on her shoulder she smiled, leaning her head against his now. "Neither do I...But we don't have to figure this out now" she spoke softly. Just knowing he wanted to help her was enough for now, they could always come up with things alone and try and make it work. She wasn't sure how but she trusted that it was possible. Her eyes looked at the sky and the full moon, causing her to smile. "Moons beautiful tonight, helps that the sky is pretty clear too" her voice remained soft as she spoke.

Draco sat quietly next to her for a few moments. He wished he could show her the place within his territory, the cliff on the side of the mountain where his friends were currently gathered. It was the place where you could get closest to the moon and look out to see its silvery light shimmering across the landscape, bodies of water glowing white from up that high. "I know a place you'd love to go but it's within our territory so it'd be very dangerous to show you. You can get as close to the moon as you'll ever get around here." he said as he looked up into the night sky. This was the first time he felt happy in a long time. He laid on his back and began to point out some of the visible constellations.

Listening to him she took a few moments, thinking it thorough. "Screw it, show me" she eventually spoke, interupting his constelation naming. "I'm willing to run the risk to see this place. Especially if I'm with you" she spoked, her voice slowly waining. Slowly she was dawning on her that she cared more for Draco than a friend, it had taken her long enough. "Draco...I think..." she started, although words failed her after this. "I'd love to see that place" she finished the sentence. With a deep sigh she knew she had wimped out and felt ashamed of herself.

Draco looked a bit puzzled as she seemed to stutter on her words. He didn't know what was wrong but he decide it was best not to ask questions. He decided to take the risk to show her this special place. He had a plan but it would require some help from an old friend. "Well what are you waiting dor?! Let's go!" came his excited voice as he jumped to his feet and pulled Ava to hers. He had never been this excited to do anything before. It was likely because it was something he wasn't supposed to do and because he was so happy to do something with Ava. He really enjoyed her company. He pulled her back across no man's land and once they got close to his territory he turned to face her, "Wait here." he said as he walked away leaving her on the edge of the territory. He went up to the cliff and there was Leda. He spoke to her to see when they would be leaving. She seemed suspicious of his questioning and prodded an answer out of him. She didn't seem happy about it but she agreed to get the others away. She was the only person Draco felt he could trust within his pack. Leda wasn't originally part of their pack, she was supposed to marry a member of Draco's pack. Her family was quite opposite of Draco's but still a family that was considered okay to deal with in their eyes.. "Do be careful... Draco. You'll have a few hours. I'll ask them all to go with me. I'll figure something out. I'll signal when it's okay." she said as she walked away. "Thank you, Leda." he said as they went their separate ways. He waited until Leda gave him the signal, which was a howl. Draco had just got back to Ava when he heard it. "It's safe now. We can go up there." he said as he lead the way. It took awhile to get up there but it was well worth it. It was everything he said it would be. He sat on the edge of the cliff and motioned for Ava to sit down alongside him. He cared more for her than he initially thought. He had been waiting for a moment but he was nervous. He thought this was the time but he wanted to let her adjust to the new place.

Ava felt herself dragged to her feet by Draco, causing her to laugh a little. "Literally nothing" she respinded, walking beside him to the edge of his territory. Once at the edge she waitied, which made her a little nervous. P~art of her began to wish she'd back out of this, but she was glad she hadn't. When he finally came back she nodded her head, staring at the cliff she could see. It certainly looked like the perfect look out place, but she was also excited about it. Whe he came back, telling her it was safe she took a nervous step forwards. This was her first time on territory that was owned by another pack, specifically their rivals. Following him she got more excited with every step, it appeared that this place was certainly as special as he had said it was. Taking a seat on the edge of the cliff she sat beside Draco, smiling up at the moon. "It really is beautiful" she muttered, a little speechless. "Must've taken a lot to get the lot already up here to leave" she mentioned, making sure he knew that she knew what he had done for her. Now her head leant upon his shoulder, taking a deep sigh. "Thank you for this" she spoke, one of her arms looping around his waist. She hadn't an idea what she was doing until it was done, but she also didn't mind where she was at that moment.

Draco looked at her and shrugged his shoulders, "Not too hard. Just had to demand them to leave." he said with a slight laugh.."No, Leda took care of that. She's not part of my own pack. She's engaged to a member of our pack, she comes from a totally different place. They are similar to us but much more forgiving. She may not have seemed totally pleased but she agreed not to tell anyone. I think she was more worried than anything else. She's good at that. She's actually friends with Allison but she is much different than she is.. he added quietly. "You're welcome." he whispered before he looked out into the distance but he wasn't really looking at it. He was off in his own world inside his head. He was thinking about the time when he was just a boy and meeting Ava for the first time. His life had changed so much since then, it was much darker now. He didn't even notice that Ava had looped an arm around him. It had been awhile before he came back to reality, Ava?.. he said quietly. He then looked away, "Nevermind." he said quickly afterwards.
He felt extremely nervous. He let a few more minutes pass before he spoke again, "..Ava?" he said fast nervous tone, waiting for her to look at him. He leaned forward and without thinking anything else about it, gently pressed his lips to her. He felt uncomfortable still and pulled away, looking in the other direction shyly.

"Well you two seem like good friends, it's nice to know you have other friends from outside packs" she spoke, a playful tone to her voice. It was clear she was enjoying her time here, it was the perfect part to her midnight run. "I didn't imagine Allison could ahve friends,that surprises me" she scoffed a little, her hate for the other girl became very clear. Just the thought of Allison made he blood boil. she hated the girl more than anyone she'd ever known. The strange thing was that she didn't know why. As he spoke her name she was about to respond, but he cut her off with a nevermind. Deciding yo leave it she closed her mouth, going back to staring at the sky. Once more he spoke her name, so she looked at him. As he kidded her she began to smile, eyes closing. When he pulled away and looked away she took a finger and pushed his head to look at her once more. Leaning forward once more she pressed her lips to his, as if this was her answer to his nervousness. Now she finally knew it all made sense, jelousy was something she'd never exerienced before. Breaking the kiss she looked at him "Yes?" she spoke, unable to say much more. Her cheeks a bright red colour, showing the embarassment she felt.

Draco felt a sensation of shock come over him as she kissed him back. It made his stomach feel strange, it wasn't something he was used to but he quite enjoyed it. His pale skin flushed a bit as she pulled away. When she spoke to him, he had trouble finding words to respond with. "I.. well... I think I have..feelings for you. Ever since the day with Allison, I've worried about you. I remember the time when we were little.. anytime I'm with you.. I feel like a better person. I feel steady and secure with you. he said, almost stuttering over his words as if he was confused about how he was feeling. Seeing that she was blushing made his skin flush even redder.

Ava couldn't help but feel more embarassed by his words, causing her to stare down at the lack of ground beneath her face. "Me too. I worry about you all the time and hope you're ok. I look forward to seeing you. I know I can talk to you about anything and that's nice. But considering the circumstances..." she felt her mood drop a little. What could she do, this would never be accepted by either pack. "What are we going to do? Neither pack will accept this and I'm not exactly ready to give up so easily..." she sighed softly. It was a tricky thing, made trickier by the fact she hadn't expected it. She lay back noe, legs still hanging off the cliff edge. This was a puzzle alright, one she was having a great ammount of difficulty figuring out. "I'm not great at keeping secrets, my body language gives things away too much. But I guess I could lie..." she muttered to herself, not speaking half of her plan out loud. She was conflicted, half of her felt the happiest she'd ever been but the other half felt worried and panicked.

Draco didn't know what would happen now. He knew that what she said was true. If his father found out, he would definitely try to put an end to Ava. He laid back and looked at the night sky with her. "Let's not think about it for now. We will figure something out.. I promise." he said looking at her with a not so confident look in his eyes. They were full of confusion and worry. He could sense the same in hers. Draco felt his heart being wrenched in two. He was going to disappoint his family or disappoint Ava.

Ava nodded her head, agreeing to not thinking about what could happen. Instead she allowed herself to be close to him, still staring at the sky. "I'm not gonna lie, this is kinda werid since there's a superstition about full moons in my pack" she chuckled. This thought had been bothering her for a while, it was only a superstition but it seemed awfully truthful. Partially it made her believe it, but also she was sure it was coincidence. Staring t the glinting stars in the sky she allowed herself to get lost in them, they were so far away like she wished her troubles were. "Let's just enjoy tonight" she sighed softly, allowing her nerves to settle. The part that hurt her the most was the fact she knew she could confide in no-one about this, they'd all tell her parents and go crazy at her.
