The black and white she blinked her eyes open, although it remained pitch black for her. Her maw opened in a huge yawn, showing how tired she was despite the fact she'd had a peaceful nights sleep. Getting to her paws she twitched her nose, following the smell of fresh air out of the den. Once she felt a soft breeze in her fur she smiled, after all it meant she was out in the clearing. She could faintly smell other cats, although they were mostly masked by the smell of herbs so she didn't know who was there. "Good morning" she purred out, making sure to speak loud enough so they would hear. "I hope everyone slept well" she followed up. Her voice was soft and warm, often cats found it comforting. Along with her soothing voice she carried this air of calm around her, no matter how crazy things got. It was part of what made her so good at her job, but it was also what made her rather popular amongst the clan. There were few cats who didn't like her, but that could have something to do with her possibly having to save their life one day. Taking a few steps forwards she entered the clearing properly, before lowering her haunches and sitting. Now she set about grooming, although her ears were perked and listening for any responses.

The calico she had been awake for a while, last night was a night where sleep would simply not stick with her. Instead of simply lying in her nest tossing and turning and hoping for sleep, she went for a stroll. This stroll took her along the banks of the river, a place she found very calming and allowed her to think. She'd only been in this clan for around 4 moons, but it felt like home. It didn't mean that the bad memories she carried didn't sometimes come back and upset her. Upon her walk she had wondered about what had happened to her younger sibling and if any others had escaped those dogs. It made her shudder. She could see the sun coming up now, so decided to head back to camp. If she was lucky she would be able to sneak back into her nest without anyone knowing she was gone, but as the clearing came into view she was not so lucky. Why couldn't you of just been asleep Duststorm! she thought, mildly annoyed. However his eyes began to close so she took the opportunity to attempt to sneak into camp.

The secluded tom had settled himself down to sleep in the corner of the warriors den, as far away from other cats as possible. Although his life was often lonely he prefered it this way, no-one could hurt him again. About the only cat he'd properly talk to was his sister, Lavendermist, but that's because family always stuck together. His sides moved up and down gently with each breath, he was still in a deep sleep. One of his front paws twitched, along with his tail, indicating that he was in fact dreaming. It was a brilliant dream, just him catching the biggest fish he'd ever seen. He'd begun to drool in his sleep, not a pleasant sight. Soon however he was awoken, dawn light creeping into the den and coming over his eyes. "uuugggghhh..." he grumbled, eyes half closed to protect them from the light. With a huff he rose to his paws and walk sluggishly out. Padding to his usual spot he slumped down once he was there, enjoying the shade of a nearby bush.

The cream tabby had awoken not long ago, but she seemed as if she'd been awake for hours. She was definitely a morning cat, in fact she liked all times of day except the night. A gentle bound in her step she went to the nursery, wanting to help and also wanting to see if there was any kits there. Placing her head silently into the opening she smiled, seeing a few of them were awake. "Good morning, anybody want some fresh kill?" she asked, keeping her voice low to avoid waking those asleep up. Her tail twitched slightly as she waited for an answer, the anticipation getting to her. Although she knew this was an apprentices job, there was only three in the clan at the moment, so she wished to help them out. A cold breeze made her shiver a little as it ruffled her pelt, that was the only part she hated about leaf-bare. This cold is the worst, hopefully though it will be a kind leaf-bare and no threaten to starve us all to death. That was her worst fear, everyone beginning to die and her having no power to stop it. The thought alone made her blood run cold with dread, not a feeling she liked. The sound of a chirping bird bought her back to the real world, where she still awaited answers from the awake queens.
