⛎ Z O D I A C ⛎ Sign Ups ⛎ Character Sheets ⛎ Information ⛎ In the beginning there were thirteen zodiacs -aries, taurus, gemini, leo, cancer, virgo, libra, scorpio, sagittarius, capricorn, aquarius, pisces, and ophiuchus - that watched over earth, dividing their time into thirteen different months in which they made sure that the inhabitants fared well and didn't have to fear the threat of powerful beings outside of their world. Everything was well until ophiuchus decided that they wished to have more power and attempted to fight the others one by one. The others quickly caught on and turned against their former comrade, banishing them to the darkest reaches of space where they wouldn't pose a threat to the zodiac's rule. Centuries passed and ophiuchus was all but forgotten, the months having been adjusted so that there were only twelve, and a time of great peace settled over the land. ⛎ R E C A P ⛎ I'll post a recap every other page. crouching down and reaching out a nimble hand, placing it against the side of the fellow's neck. "As for a thinking of a plan," her gaze darkened as she looked out towards the passing humans. "We need to regroup with the others, gods know were they ended up landing or if they too are grouped together." She arose from her crouch, "Though I guess moving from the streets isn't a bad call to do first. I honestly don't trust how some of these people look." She shot a glare to some on lookers, they looked like gangsters. Where there honestly gangsters in Antilla? That'd be bad, and somewhat expected and horrible. Modern day times, horrible. She often wished it was older times, the steampunk years were interesting. Why not the steampunk years? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Pisces/Pi||Location: Due||Mentions: Moon, Scorpio Pi would watch quietly as Scorpio would become conscious, and it was clear he was not in the mood to be touched. When the male was addressing them, Pisces would answer his questionable voice with a single nod before looking back towards the humans who rushed by. Suddenly a demanding rumble erupted from nowhere, causing Pi to slightly jump at the noise. But she would soon realise that the sound was coming from her after feeling a sharp pain in her stomach. "Now I know it's not fun to be a mortal.." She would his with an icy glare pointed towards the sky. Right now she was cursing Ophiuchus for coming back so soon. After raging silently, Pi stood up and stretched, blue gaze drifting over to Moon and Scorpio "Got any idea how to find the other zodiac's?" Pi would question with a simple raised eyebrow. Of course she couldn't find them, but maybe the others could. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 28/12/16 @ 12:01:10 by |Plushy|Side| (#77112) |

Taran|Taurus|Female|Group: Antheos | Location: Due| Mentions: Dae, Virgo (indirectly) All was dark; swirling shapes and colours penetrating the gloom only to vanish into nothingness as soon as they were focused upon. Where were the stars? Where were the other constellations that had been the only company since the beginning of time? As the conscience wondering these things grew stronger, more alert, other things were noticed too. Foreign and yet well known scents eddied around, deep earthy nuances at their base, overlaid with so many others. The scent of growing things was well known and comforting, pillowing in a sense, while other, more pungent and unknown smells blanketed from above, a stark contrast to the clear . Sounds slowly made their appearance , distant at first, but growing ever louder, a cacophony of jumbled noises never before perceived. It wasn’t usually this loud in the celestial dome was it? Along with a returning sense of touch, memories assaulted the darkness, turning it bright white with flashes of thoughts and feelings. A gasp escaped lips never before used, shortly followed by a groan. After the memories only pain and loss remained, clouding everything in darkness once again. What had happened to her stars? To the many celestial bodies that were both her children and parents alike. Most simply named after herself, but a few with enough power themselves to chose their own. After a moment of careful internal probing, she found those beings still connected distantly to her own being, but frighteningly far away. Even Aldebaran, the brightest star in all the zodiac constellations was quiet, not reacting to her call. Returning her attention to the shifting darkness again, she didn’t even try to stop the desolation crashing down upon her. What did it matter that she was Taurus, member of the zodiac and watcher over the earth since the beginning of creation? She was lost, alone, without her stars or the other zodiac for company and help. She let herself drift aimlessly in the swirling blackness, drowning out all else as she succumbed to her grief. Couldn't resist keeping her under a little longer XD 0 players like this post! Like? |

Virgo| Location: Athenos|Mentions: Dae, Taran She looked at the fallen Zodiac, it didn't take her long. Only half a second max to piece together this was Taurus. She sighed, a frown consumed her features as she soon lifted Taurus's head from the floor, lifting up another hand. "Taurus, wake up." she said with a stern tone. serving the unconscious being a slap across the face. For a "soft" or "weak" zodiac the sound that emitted was surprisingly loud. Like ten pencils being snapped in two at the same time. She didn't let the fallen constellation's head just go splat on the ground once more, she actually just placed Taurus's head down with a bit of care. She sat next to the fainted person. Soon looking at Capri like she never slapped an unconscious person to begin with. "The best I got with waking her up. i don't have many abilities y'know." she said bluntly before looking out into the swarm of humans. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Dae|Capricorn|Female|Group: Antheos Location: Antheos| Mentions: Virgo, Taran Dae moved over to sit beside Virgo. She didn't have Aquarius healing abilities but she had some experience in setting bones and patching up flesh wounds. Most of that knowledge came from thousands of years of inflicting such wounds. Never understanding the purpose in the unnecessary bloodshed she had watched mortals fight, like so many ants, over imaginary lines drawn in the ground, drenching the soil with their spilled blood and painting rivers red. And now she was mortal. How times change. One moment you hold the power to decide the fate of empires, the next you are cast down, exposed to the same powers that you wielded. Looking at Taurus she knew that this was different. There was no flesh ripped open, no flow of blood to stop, no broken limbs or cracked sculls. Placeing her hand on Taurus's throat Dae started searching for the steady rhythm of her pulse. She felt the arteries under her hand expand and contract with the her steady breathing. It was not shallow as Dae had thought but strong with the unfaltering rhythm of life. She than examined the Zodiac's head for any injuries that could have caused her to pas out, sliding her fingers between her hair, probing for the slick feeling of fresh blood. Like Dae herself Taurus's body was covered in bruises from the fall but none of them looked painful enough to let her pas out. With her search complete Dae sat back, addressing Virgo in a matter a fact voice "I don't know what's wrong with her. Her pulse is steady and I can't find any serious injuries. I think I can carry her though." 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 30/12/16 @ 05:50:11 by Genesy (#91752) |

Virgo| Location: Athenos|Mentions: Dae, Taran "Well, if it isn't injuries she has then it's probably the sheer fact that she doesn't want to wake up." Virgo commented. Her gaze flicked from Dae to Taran once more, "Though, I suppose carrying her will have to do until she decides to stop hiding in her mental pit." the Zodiac stood, her posture erect despite the now sore feeling in her back. Who knew falling, from what? 26,400 feet, 58,080 feet? No wonder Taurus didn't want to wake up just standing was making her new mortal life miserable. Thinking of how is it that mortals stand be stuck in the meaty builds anyway? It's like a literal prison cell, she couldn't see what was happening around the world, only the section she was stuck in. She was promptly vulnerable to getting horribly disfigured by crowbars from angry hoodlums. And due to the fact she feels closer to a mortal then the other two, hell she probably looked like one too! She didn't feel powerful. She felt empty, weak. Well then again she probably wasn't that powerful int he first place, was she? Thinking back it felt a bit hard for her to remember, then again she had been living in joyful bliss as a godly being of stars. Probably like any else before Mr. Serpent Man came and hurled them down form the sky. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Dae|Capricorn|Female|Group: Antheos Location: Antheos| Mentions: Virgo, Taran Although Taurus was taller, Dae lifted her with surprising ease. It was still disconcerting to be confined into such a small space but she was slowly getting accustomed to the limits her body posed. At least it was a body worthy of her, stronger and taller than most of the humans. "Follow me." she told the other Zodiac, already striding ahead with Taurus in her arms, holding her like you might a small child. The mass parted easily in front of her as she made towards the nearest alley, stopping only shortly to wait for Virgo, she than navigated through the maze of streets, leading them away from the sounds of the city center. The streets grew darker and narrower the further walked. Not before long they found themselves in a quiet blind alley. Here Dae put Taurus down, propping her against the rough brick walls that rose up around them. "Now we can talk." After a pause of what might have been hesitation she continued. "Our defeat might not be as complete as we first assumed. For one the fall would have killed us if we were mere mortals, secondly Ophiuchus wasn't able to strip us entirely from our powers." She said, revealing what had been her hand. Dark skin had been replaced by hard, grey scales. Each 'finger' was padded and ended in a long, curved talon. At the beginning of the shift she had to clench her teeth not to cry out in agony. Although the pain had ever increased she had brought it under control, concentrating on the pain, feeling it expand like a flame consuming a forest, growing ever larger with ever tree it burnt to ashes until there was nothing left. The pain didn't matter, the important thing was that she wasn't bound to this single form anymore. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 31/12/16 @ 12:51:57 by Genesy (#91752) |

Virgo| Location: Athenos|Mentions: Dae, Taran She was indeed quick to follow, almost skittering past Capri when she paused. She stuck close, glancing around at the surroundings as they seemed to turn multiple corners and walk down corridors of buildings. hazel eyes scanning every etch and and crack of whatever stood in the wake of her gaze. heir final stop at an ally, most ominous, plus there was a broken iron pipe. She made a mental note to take that with her. His slide over to Capricorn as she placed down Taurus. her brow furrowed when the Sea Goat revealed the now shifted hand, "Looks like that of a bird of prey." She noted, swooping down to pick up the iron pipe. "Sadly I don't have many abilities. I only have wits and rudeness." she looked towards the sky, even under the cats of shadow it still seemed to poke needles in her vision. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sagittarius // Location: Cua // Mentions: Aries, Leo Sagittarius could feel his strength returning slightly, although he felt he was more fragile and vulnerable in this ‘human-like’ form. He bent down to retrieve his bow and stepped from out of the sunken hole he had made in the alley. The Zodiac had barely made his way down the cobbled stone pathway when he heard a deep voice say his name. His attention was diverted to a tall man with ram horns jutting out from his head and a familiar quiver of arrows slung over his shoulder. “Aries?” He responded, a smile forming on his lips as he walked closer. “Hey, you found my arrows.” Once he was close enough he playfully slapped his fellow Zodiac on the arm in thanks. “Those little Duende shits…” Sagittarius muttered, as he gratefully took his arrows back, slinging the quiver over his shoulder and onto his back. His hazel eyes shifted from Aries in front of him and out to the street where another figure materialized from the crowd. A woman with golden hair and a lion’s tail swishing from behind her. “Looks likes the gang's all here. Well almost.” He spoke up with a half-hearted chuckle. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Dae|Capricorn|Female|Group: Antheos Location: Antheos| Mentions: Virgo, Taran Her brows furrowed down into a frown at Virgo's words. If what she had said so lightly was true than defeating Ophiuchus would be nearly impossible. She had dared to hope, no assumed that every Zodiac had at least retained some of their powers, even than the task ahead of them would push them to their utmost limits. Dae calmed her mind. What was, was. What is, is. The past or present are both set in stone. Only the future can be changed. And she would. Virgo had picked up an iron pipe, holding it in her hands like a weapon. It would have looked almost comical if it wouldn't have been for the fierce look in her eyes. She might have no powers or skill with a weapon but she was brave. "Than I will protect you." Despite the offhand manner in which Dae said them her words rang with the certainty and truth of an oath. Dae was not one to say such things lightly. But words are wind. And her protection would count little if they didn't find the others soon. A plan began to form in her mind, slowly at first than with ever increasing speed. Knowing what she had to do Dae sat back against the wall, bracing herself against the pain she continued to shift. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 03/01/17 @ 03:01:53 by Genesy (#91752) |

Gem || Gemini || Location: Due || Mentions: Atlas, Rio A quietly groaned question, which Gem hadn't quite caught, alerted him to Rio's waking and he promptly shifted back to give him room. Although it wasn't necessary, even with the wings, as Rio curled in on himself, likely experiencing the same fload of information and pain that he'd suffered from only moments before. A slight grimace dashed across his features as he sympathized with his fellow zodiac before it was replaced with his usual grin, "Considering the Sacamanteca that had been hanging around and the architecture, I'd have to guess around Spain." He paused double checking that there wasn't anyone else aside from Atlas and Rio before answering with a shrug, "I dunno, Atlas is over there and by the looks of it we'll probably have to lug him around, if you're up for it..." With that said he cast a meaningful look towards the remains of Rio's arm. 0 players like this post! Like? |
