Sophie woke with a sharp pain in her ankle, and found herself on her bedroom floor. Her dark blanket was tangled around her and the bed was empty of blankets, it was all on the floor. Sophie was a restless sleeper. "Ugh" she attempted to stand and finally, after a long battle with the sheets, rose and got ready for the day. Pulling on a quick outfit consisting of a white crop top, black miniskirt, and a long ivory cardigan, she left for school. x

After getting a ride from her sister, Evelyn, Sophie stalked inside, dreading her first class. On her way into the school she almost tripped over a boy sitting on the steps. "Watch where your going" She snapped, but then looked at the boy's face. He was kind of cute, maybe if she ran into him again she would invite him to her annual back-to-school party. "Oh. Sorry" Sophie mumbled, softening up a little. "See ya" She said again, almost running into the school, skirt blowing behind her.

Shaking her head as she approached her first class, PE, Sophie quickly found her new locker and dropped off her bag, waiting for the bell.

After giving her baby sister a ride, Evelyn parked her car and went inside the courtyard. She was wearing a white top, jean shorts and cardigan and finished the look with soft autumn matte makeup, curled hair, and a light brown bag. x

She immediately found her popular posse and approached them, asking about their summers, though she really didn't care. She had spent her own hooking up with boys and chilling at the beach, but the summer was over now and they had work to do.

"My parents are gone for the week and my sister's hosting a party. Of course there's only going to be lame people there. Wanna have a slumber party at your house?" Evelyn said with a laugh while acknowledging another one of her nameless "friends". "Of course your all invited" She said motioning around to the other girls. "Shit." Evelyn cursed when the bell rang. "I don't feel like math. Anyone want to go get a drink?"She asked, acknowledging the starbucks a few blocks away. "We'll be back by break."

Sophie shook her head and smirked at the boy, feeling slightly creeped out when he attempted to follow her. After a quick glance into the room, she noted there was no one else in there. "Sophie. By the way your invited to my party, see you there. " She said before shutting the door and walking further into the room, praying the bell would ring so he would leave

When it did, she sighed quickly in relief and got changed. She changed quickly, now wearing her usual gym strip, a cute sports bra and sweats, and watched as more girls filed into the locker room. She pulled her hair into a high fishtail braid and approached her friends, "So you guys are all coming to my party." She said, in a less of a question more of a statement tone. She quickly pulled out her phone and texted a quick invitation out to everyone who was cool enough to come. "Ugh, Basketball" Sophie moaned as the second bell rang, signalling it was time for first period to start as she walked into the gym.
