Scott smiled as she sang. He had already caught himself trying to figure out how to play the song on guitar. When she looked at him, her face turned red. "Thanks," He responded with a smile and sat down next to her. He folded his hands in his lap and turned to the girl. "Its Cleo, right?" He asked, just to be sure. He knew he at least had one class with her. She was beautiful, and sweet as he remembered. "You know, I'm not really a partier but I do love to dance," He told her, looking out at the crowd of dancers. He turned back to Cleo. "How about you? Do you do anything accept sit on couches at parties?" He asked with a smile.

Cleo kept playing with her hair due to nerves, she'd never really done that before. Normally she was confident, but the mixture of being caught off-guard and the drink, it wasn't a good combination. She looked to Scott with the best smile she could give, remembering him from class and seeing him in the hallways. "Yeah, I'm Cleo. And You're Scott." She paused for a moment after speaking realising how weird that sounded. "That sounds creepy. I mean as in, well, most people know you." She shook her head out of embarrassment, before giving another smile. "Me at parties, the couch is normally my favourite place. Dancing though, it's pretty cool I don't do it much though." She said.

Scott chuckled at her comment. He was well aware of what his name was associated with. Most people who didn't know Scott thought he was the weird drama kid or that he was gay. The boy didn't really care any more. He had spent most of his middle school years trying to please everyone. "No, it's fine, I'm glad you recognized me," he said with a smile. He could tell she was nervous. She mentioned that sitting was what she normally did at parties. A crazy idea popped into his head. "Why don't we dance?" He blurted out. He then realized she might not want to. "I mean, if you want to. Its perfectly fine if you don't want to dance, I won't take it personally," he took a breath and realized he was rambling.

Cleo giggles to herself as he began to ramble. She found it rather cute and it made her a lot more comfortable. "Would you want to dance?" Scott asked her. Taken by surprise she thought about it for a moment. She smiles brightly before nodding her head. "I'd love to." She said standing up and holding out her hand to him. Her cheeks hadn't changed from the bright red colour, she was still nervous slightly. She'd never really danced at a party, whilst also knowing that Scott was rather good at it, she was going to do her best at least.
