Aaron nodded at the time and locked his door behind him after he watched Jo walked out of his dorm. He threw on his jacket and walked to his car and meeting Ty where he wanted to. "Hey." He said bro hugging Ty when he got into the cafe.

"Where were you for the past day and some?" Ty asked sitting down at a table with some cold drinks for the two of them.

"I was with Jo." Aaron didn't want to mention he wasn't single anymore because he was afraid Tu would announce it to the whole world.

"Are y'all together?" It was the first question Avery asked Jo when she got out of the car. Jo rolled her eyes before looking at the colors on display in the salon. She picked a pale blue color while Avery picked a bright orange before they were taken to their seat. "Well are you?" Avery asked again once they had sat down, and Jo gave her a look before sighing and nodding her head. Avery beamed before hugging her. "My Jo has grown up!" She exclaimed before Jo told her to shut up.

When Aaron had said that he was with Jo, Ty raised his eyebrows before leaning in closer so his words were hushed, "Did you two fuck?" He asked giving Aaron a smirk.

"No, we were at foot ball game last night then we worked on our project today for class." Aaron kept th details to himself but he knew that Ty would eventually figure it out even though it would take a while because Aaron never seemed like a dating type to Ty.

"Did she stay over?" He pushed taking a sip of his drink. Aaron just nodded and pursed his lips not wanting to say too much.

"But this is so new for me. And you," Avery states before glancing at the lady who was doing her nails. She had a black bob and green eyes while Jo's girl had wavy blonde hair and grey eyes. "It's a new experience for the both of us. I just can't believe that your first boyfriend is Aaron."

"Who do you say that?" Jo asks, having heard the way her voice was skeptical.

Avery looked at her. "He's not exactly a safe bet."

"And?" Ty kept pushing and furrowed his eyebrow knowing that Aaron was hiding something.

"And what?" Aaron just shrugged his shoulders and tried to focus on anything but the fact that Ty was definitely smarter than he let on.

"You're not telling me something, you usually don't let girls stay over unless you fucked." Ty took another sip of his drink but made sure to keep his eyes towards Aaron.

"She was drunk and I didn't feel like sending her back. Plus, why do you care." He leaned back and crossed his arms and looking around the busy cafe.

Jo felt her eyes narrow before she cleared it. The last thing she wanted to do was get hostile with her best friend and have them say things that neither of them mean. She waited until their nails were finished and they paid. Then Jo got into her car, driving towards the cafe. She got out and waited for Avery to do the same.

"He's changed," Jo tells Avery, almost feeling like the naive girls in all of those movies. That's what they always said when they were getting abused but Jo knew that it didn't apply to this situation.

"How can you be so sure?" Avery asks her, and Jo could tell how worried she was. They ordered before picking a small table that was beside the window.

Aaron was about to say something out when Ty punched his arm, "Dude!" Ty said in a hushed voice and pointed behind him. Aaron rubbed his arm and gave his friend a glare before looking behind him to see Jo ordering something at the front.

"Shit." He hissed and turned his face back to Ty, the chances.

"Jeez her friend is smoking hot, I would love to-" Aaron put his hand on Ty's mouth before he could finish that sentence.

"Don't even think of finishing that." He said before keeping his face away from the general direction of Jo, he didn't know why he felt the need to do so but it was sort of his instinct.

"He's told me," Jo tells Avery before shrugging and looking at her best friend. "And shown me." She averts her eyes, as Avery's widens, and she looks at her friend. "Did you have sex with him?" And Jo immediately shook her head. "No, no, of course not. You know me better than that."

"Then what did you.....?" Avery's words drift off, as something behind Jo catches her attention. Jo cocks her head to the side before turning around and seeing Aaron with another football player, Ty who had platinum blonde hair and electric pale blue eyes.

Avery stood up with a grin on her face. "Lets say hi." And then she walked right over to the table with Jo trailing behind before Avery put a hand on the table. "Hello boys," she greets.

Aaron almost jumped when he saw a hand firmly placed on their table. He looked up and saw Jo's friend with a large smirk on her face. "Hi." Aaron said simply but Ty just stared at her and Aaron could already tell all the nasty thoughts he had running through his mind. Shaking his head, he stood up and held out his hand for her to shake, "Aaron, but of course you already knew that."

"Yea, and you know that my name is Avery," Avery states, acting as if she didn't see his hand. After all, who shook hands these days? She certainly didn't think that Aaron was one of those guys. A gentleman. "Let me tell you Aaron, I'm giving you a fair warning. If all of this is some kind of game, both of you will deal with not only Jo but me!" Avery glares at Ty too before turning her attention back to Avery. "I may not seem scary but you don't want to see me when I'm angry!" Avery turned and walked back to their table, and Jo trailed her, surprised at her outburst. "I love you," Jo tells Avery, grinning when they sat down.

Ty just continued to stare at Avery and after she walked away, he looked at Aaron and smirked, Aaron mirrored Ty's expression, "The little kitten thinks she can beat a lion at his own game." Aaron said exactly what the both of them were thinking.

"In her defense, she's just...defending her fri...en- Wait! I get it now. You and Jo...oh my really?" Aaron rolled his eyes at Ty's sudden excitement.

"Yes really." Aaron confirmed his suspicions and sat back, for some reason, he wasn't even the slightest bit threatened by Avery, pretty cute for trying though.

"I don't know what came over me," Avery tells Jo honestly once they had sat back down at their table. "I've never done anything like that before but what I said was true. I was serious." Jo grinned at her friend, as a waiter brought their food to them. He looked college age with wavy brown hair and emerald colored eyes. "Here you go ladies," he out their tray down, his eyes flying down to Jo, as he grinned. "If there's anything I can help with you, even not considering food, maybe you should give me a call." And he wrote his number down for Jo before grinning once more and walking away. Jo looked at Avery with her mouth open. "Did that really just happen? Is there something about me that makes boys attracted?" Jo lets out a laugh before Avery giggles. "Yeah, your sexiness!"

Aaron watched as Jo giggled with her friend and just shook his head at at the sight. It wasn't until he noticed a waiter flirting with up that he stood up and walked to the waiter, not caring that Ty or anyone else was watching. "Hey, you keep your hands and number to yourself, she's taken." Aaron said in a possessive manner shoving Keith's shoulder. He could have done a lot worse and actually tried the hurt him but he didn't want to create a scene.

The waiter held his hands in a surrender moment before Jo looked at Aaron horrified at what he had just done. "What the hell is wrong with you?" It didn't seem like the waiter was hurt but still, Jo hated when people made a scene. Especially when she knew the people. "I am so sorry, uh Keith," Jo apologizes for Aaron's behavior. "It's not your fault that you're dating a brute who doesn't deserve you," Keith states and before any more words could be said, Jo grabbed his hand and led him out the door, telling Avery bye. She pressed Aaron against his car. "Why did you do that?"

Aaron jerked his hand away from Jo's grip, wanting to go back in there so badly to beat up that son of a bitch but he knew Ty had heard it and he also trusted Ty to take care of it. "I could've punched that asshole." He gritted his teeth and put his hands on his car, he didn't want to lose his temper and yell at Jo even though this wasn't her fault. He's never felt jealously before and obviously, he wasn't dealing with it very well.
