He just shook his head at her, and waited for her to go upstairs before he went into the backyard, thinking that he may as well bury the body by the tree in the yard so when it started decomposing it would provide the plants nutrients.

Coming back down with two bags full of all her stuff-she cleared out everything-she noticed her dad was no longer standing there but she did hear someone shoveling out the ground. That was probably for Damiaan...

Honestly, burying him wouldn't be the worse, give him a peaceful place to lay. She shook her head at her thoughts and looked back down at Damiaan.

Mark started shoveling, grunting a little with the effort. He certainly wasn't used to this sort of thing, and while he was taking a break he saw Kelsie through the sliding glass door, with her bags. He sighed quietly, and shook his head. She would return to her senses eventually, and come home.

After saying a few more goodbyes to Damiaan, she gave the man another glance before walking out the door, towards Sophia's house. Kelsie didn't bother taking her car there. Right now, she just wanted to not think about anything that happened today....

Mark stopped shoveling again when he heard the front door shut, He shook his head again, and once again began shoveling once more. He wasn't planning on giving the vampire a decent grave, just deep enough to cover the body, but since the man was so tall... This would definitely take a while.

Two Months Later...

"Your birthday is in a week, I'm throwing you a party no matter what you say." Kelsie was currently sitting on the couch, eating ice cream and listening to her friend bother her about her birthday.
"I don't want to celebrate it." Kelsie said simply, scooping out the last few bits of ice cream in the tiny tub.
"I don't care, I'm still bringing you to the club or something..." Also, Kelsie had to explain why Damiaan was now dead, the truth was just the easiest.

He leaned against the fence surrounding Sophia's house, slumping heavily against it. He'd been trying to find a way to talk to her for the longest time, failing miserably every single time. He put his head in his hands, shaking his head slightly. This wouldn't work, not like this. He couldn't just go knock on the front door... could he?

He shifted his weight, pinching his nose hard as he tried to work up the courage to go knock on the door. He hoped Sophia wasn't home, but with his luck she was, and that would make his suddenly showing up out of the blue much much worse. He gritted his teeth, flicking his hair out of his eyes before straightening, but he was still trying to convince himself that he should go knock on the door.
