He shook his head, laughing quietly, "No, I don't think I'm going to be hungry for a while. An hour is just a long time to sit and do nothing.... but that's what I do everyday, so I don't know what I'm complaining about."

He smiled wryly and looked out the window, saying dryly, "Yes, the amazing scenery of flat land and some occasional trees." He paused, then added, "And a cow."

"Make that two cows." She nodded and let out a laugh. Over the next hour, they passed by a few animals but nothing really interesting, when they finally arrived, she turned off the engine with a sigh before looking back at Damiaan, "We are finally here, the horses are in their stables if you'd like to see them now although we have to wait until morning to ride them."

He laughed with her, and kissed her fingers again before leaning his head against the window, preparing himself for a boring drive. He actually fell asleep for a while, but woke up when Kelsie turned off the engine, and he nodded a little before stretching, opening the door to get out, "May as well just wait until morning.... But what else is there to do around here? I'm going to get tired of horses all day."

"It was sort of an understatement when I said small cabin, my parents decided to have a mansion sized building out here, there's all sorts of things in there like archery, pool, a swimming pool, darts and way more." Kelsie pointed to the house in case he hadn't looked at it.

He frowned a little, then looked in the direction she pointed, "Ah, yes, just sort of an understatement...." He shook his head a little before grabbing his bag and hers out of the car, then standing next to her, "Lead the way."

"I could've gotten that myself..but thank you." She pointed towards her bag before unlocking the front door, "For some reason, I thought my parents would change the lock...thankfully they didn't." Walking in, she looked around as she turned on the lights, "Everything is just as I remember..."

He shrugged, smiling a little, "It's fine... I'm happy to get it for you." He laughed a little at her next comment, and looked around when she did, "Your parents really do have a lot of money.... Hopefully they won't show up while we're here. But then that means you can rub my continued existence in their faces, but something tells me you wouldn't want that too much... Where should I put these?"

"Actually, rubbing your continued existence in their faces would be sort of funny...of course not when my dad decides he wants to try to kill you again." Kelsie led them up the stairs and went into the first room to the left, "Just set them down there, there's plenty of rooms if you want one for yourself but if not then you are welcome to stay in one with me." She smiled at him and opened some of the drawers in the dresser, "Yep, nothing has changed since I was last here."

He shook his head a little, laughing quietly, "Yes yes, right up until the point he decides to kill me again...... but this time, if he tried that, we would both be prepared. And we would know I actually wouldn't die if I was stabbed with metal--which is a good thing." He followed her into the room, setting their bags down by the door before laughing again, "There's no way I'm sleeping in a room by myself..."

"I actually knew that already when you tried to kill Dan with the sword or what ever, that's why I was even more surprised when you did 'die'. " Sitting on the edge of the bed, she leaned back a bit on her arms, "What's wrong with sleeping in a room by yourself...if I may ask. I mean, I'm not complaining, just curious."

He nodded a little, and leaned against the wall while she sat down on the bed, and he sighed, coming over to sit by her, running a hand through his hair, "I woke up, in the dirt, I couldn't breathe, it took me ten minutes to get a third of the way out. I just.... I'm just worried that if I wake up by myself, in the dark, I'll freak out..."

"So now you're claustrophobic and achluophobic...got it." she kept her voice light as she leaned over to him and ran her fingers through his long hair, "I don't like the dark much either to be honest..."

He leaned against her, closing his eyes for a moment before sighing a bit, "Yeah... those two phobias now sum up my existence. Keep me away from dark enclosed boxes... basically no caves."
