Kelsie nodded and got out of her car, walking towards the mall, "It wasn't very fun." She stars not wanting to think back to if.

Damiaan followed her towards the mall, catching up with her quickly and taking her hand, "I won't ask about it, then." He smiled at her, then asked, "Do you want to wait for lunch, or eat now?"

Kelsie looked down at their intertwined hands and smiled at him. "I'm not hungry yet but once I start I won't stop until I'm done so we may want to eat now."

Damiaan smiled back at her, and let out a laugh at her words, "Alright, then, is there anywhere that you want to eat?" If he just had his way, he would just eat sushi for the whole time they ate lunch, and he didn't know what Kelsie liked, so he wasn't going to suggest anything.

Kelsie didn't have a specific preference at food. "You can choose, there's only a few things I don't like and none of them are here." She squeezed his hand and looked around the mall.

He nodded at her words, and glanced around before taking her to stand in line at a sushi vendor, mentally preparing himself for the five rolls he would probably order. He put his arm around Kelsie's waist as they were waiting, and asked, "Have you ever had sushi before?"

Kelsie nodded, "Sushi is one of my favorite foods but I don't eat out a lot and I'm too lazy to make it myself at home. Actually I like sashimi the best." She pursed her lips and bit the inside of her cheek, a habit she has had lately.

One corner of his mouth quirked up, and an idea came to him, "Maybe you should come over sometime, I'll make you some sushi." He squeezed her hand again, then they were at the front of the line. Damiaan managed to restrain himself and only ordered three different rolls, but he knew that was still a lot for someone to eat.

Kelsie ordered one roll and a sashimi before paying for the both of them. "You know how to make sushi?" She asked as she walked towards an open table near the sushi place.

Damiaan frowned when she paid, and shook his head at her, "You didn't have to do that." He followed her to a table, and nodded, "I know how to make a lot of things, it's very hard for me to not find something to cook."

Kelsie shrugged and put her wallet away, "it's alright...plus it was kind of a habit anyways."

Damiaan shook his head again, wondering what the customs were nowadays. Usually, the man would pay for a date, but Kelsie paying suggested things had changed. He sighed, and decided to change the subject, reaching across the table for her hand, "So do you think you'll want to come over?" He had quite a lot of money that was accumulated over his life, so he had bought out the penthouse from the owners of the apartment building--for the view and general comfort--so it wasn't like his place was a dump.

Kelsie gave him a big smile before nodding, "Yes I think I'd like that." She hear her order number being called out and she stood up to get their food before briging it back to the table. "I didn't even notice how much you got. How are you going to eat all that?"
