Damiaan just sighed and opened his mouth, feeling his jaw dislocate and the larger, sharper set of teeth protrude from the inside of his mouth. He quickly shut it, though, displaying the fangs for just long enough for her to see, just long enough for her to understand what she was going to have to deal with.

Damiaan rubbed his jaw and winced, regretting showing her but at the same time knowing she wouldn't have understood otherwise, "When you start noticing blood in your mouth, you'll probably have to stay home for a couple of days until this," He gestured to his mouth, "gets under control. At first, the teeth just keep appearing and then disappearing, and you can't even tell it's coming until it's too late."

"Just amazing." She rested her elbows on her knees, burying her face in her hands, "Now I really wish I could punch Dan, hard where the sun don't shine."

Damiaan put a hand on her back, but didn't do anything else in case she didn't want his comfort right now, "It gets better quickly... And we'll find a solution to the blood problem." In all honesty, he had never really tried to find another blood source than other humans, but maybe animals could work...

"And what would that solution be?" She kept her gaze towards the ground, although not minding that his hand was on her back.

He sighed through his nose at her question, and looked at the ground like she was doing, "I have a couple of ideas, but I want to try them before I give you any false hope." He sighed again, and started rubbing his hand over her back, "Did you have any other questions?"

"Hmm, does anything change emotionally?" She asked not wanting to end up a sobbing mess in a matter of a second because that did not sound pleasant at all.

He couldn't help but laugh, even though he figured it was a serious question, "No, not really. Just the initial shock of waking up and not being able to shut your mouth... But at least you know it's going to happen." His last sentence was almost rueful. He had had no idea what was coming when he had turned. It wasn't the most pleasant experience.

Damiaan snorted, but he was still a bit concerned that she wasn't freaking out so badly. He wasn't going to say anything else about it though, and just frowned up at her, "Get ready for what? It's a few hours until six..."

Kelsie looked at the clock on her phone and shrugged, "I know...I'm just getting ready right now." She walked to her room and closed the door, locking it behind her
